Chapter 31 - 31 bunch of rewards

Drinking a healing potion and using healing magic on myself i say " you got yourself a deal. Do you have a name? It's a bit annoying calling you a dungeon core".

'just call me core" the dungeon core responded

"Alright core so i noticed that nothing in this dungeon had any equipment, well besides you why is that?" I asked core since usually the dungeons equip their bosses with items and usually they can replicate items albeit the item in question will only be at best 25% as strong as the original.

Why don't people try and enslave the dungeon cores to mass produce high level items? Well they did try but the dungeons that they tried to enslave got destroyed after leaving the dungeon for more then 1 week.

No one really knows why it happens but it does.

'it lowers the chances of people going into my dungeon and i keep most of the equipment stored in my secret room just incase something like this happens, so to increase my chances of survival since most wouldn't kill me at the prospect of loot' core says in a bored tone.

"You know i could kill you once you show me the loot?" I said looking at the core.

'yes, but i am quite sure i could trap you down here by collapsing a key pillar holding up one of the dungeon floors before you could kill me' the core said with what sounded like a slight smirk at the end of the sentence.

"Fair enough do you have any books about martial arts, magic or anything else?" I asked hoping that it would own something like that.

'at best i have a few diary's of some passed away adventurers if you want that?' core said with slight confusion in it's voice.

"Sure might be a good read" i said shrugging my shoulders.

With that the core led me to the 51st floor which was quite small only about as big as a basketball field and it was completely empty.

How did the core move? A small spider like golem came to it and placed it on too of it's head.

The core came to one of the walls and started releasing a lot of it's mana into it's surroundings.

The wall slowly opens and shows a corridor.

When we walked through after about 500 meters we came into room that was neatly organized and had many items from swords, hammers and spears to rings, necklaces and some bottles with liquid inside.

'Take whatever you want, i will go start creating a new golem body and resurrecting the bosses' the core said before it just stopped moving and started putting mana into the small spider golem which slowly started transforming into a more humanoid shape and slowly started growing.

Observing everything i see that about 90% of these things are not that good.

There were a few interesting or useful things such as the scepter of the golem.

[Golden scepter of dual elemental empowerment: casting earth or shadow spells costs 10% less mana, earth and shadow spells are 50% stronger. Rare]

Not really made for me but it would fetch for a good penny.

Now for the next items:

[Maldicorite sword of feebleness: when someone gets hurt (at least 2.5 hp) by the sword the person will get the feeble curse applied to them for the next hour. the feeble curse will decrease the str stat by 20. The curse can stack 10 times but the str decrease will at maximum be 40 and time will increase to 10 hours. This sword has a small self repair enchantment (as long as the sword is 80% whole it will repair it self). Rare]

Maldicorite is a purple metal that enhances the effects of curses it is a somewhat rare ore it is almost as durable as cobalt.

(Sword image, comment if i forgot to show it)

Useful for combat and leveling curse resistance.

[Shackles of weakening: when worn all your physical stats are locked by 30 rare]

It doesn't say it is a curse so i will most likely get a new resistance skill.

[Ring of spell keeping: you can keep up to 4 spells contained in the ring and cast them instantly, after using one spell to cast another you need to wait 2 seconds. The ring can store up to 800 mp meaning you can have 1 spell contained that was made from 800 mana or 4 spells that each have 200 mp. Rare]

The ring was made from silver and had 4 colorless gems imbedded in it.

Taking everything that had some sort of value i said "welp nice meeting you i am going home" walking away.

When i was outside of the dungeon i hid and went to my apartment in undertale.

Sitting on a sofa i look at my stats and perks i got.

[Strength: 62]]

[Vitality: 83]

[Agility: 100]

[perception: 100]

[Intelligence: 100]

[Will power: 68]

[Charisma: 50]

[Luck: 200]

Why did i raise vitality by a bit? Well if i use blood sacrifice without also using toughen body my body gets damaged because it is not durable enough to contain my strength and speed properly

[Luck reached 200 you can pick a perk

[Perception, intelligence and agility have reached 100 you can pick perks]

[Luck perks:

Perk: new system function (randomly selected

Perk: lucky crits: sometimes you just do 25% more dmg

Perk: race change: eye demon(basically a smaller version of eye of Cthulhu in terraria)]

New system function is basically an automatic pick.

[Your new system function is: rare gacha: the gacha will roll you a single random item that is of rare rarity or lower once per day and you can pay 5 silver to roll again however you can only pay once per day as well. Chances of rarities: 30% rare, 50% uncommon, 20% common.]

[Perception perks:

Perk: organ perception: you can see organs of creatures

Perk: karmic sight: you can see creatures karmic values

Perk: excellent hearing: you can hear anything in a]

Karmic sight seems like the best option.

[Intelligence perks:

Perk: skill: drain energy: you can drain stamina, mana (and other energies) to replenish your mp or sp, range starts at 10 meters, you don't have to touch the person to drain them. Draining someone out of mp and sp will start taking their hp.

Perk: skill: mind assault: you can attack a persons mind with your mind making it harder for them to use their mind

Perk: level shortcut: you need 10% less exp to level up main class, sub class and job classes]

As much as i want mind assault which would help with my possession powers level shortcut is too good to pass up on.

[Agility perks:

Perk: no water resistance: you move just as fast in water as you do in air

Perk: stretchy skin: self explanatory

Perk: fleeing: when fleeing enemies you move 50% faster (you lose the speed bonus if you attack an enemy while fleeing)]

Run away seems like the best option.

'give me the rewards for the quest' i said to the system.

[Reviewing how the quest was completed...]

[Giving rewards based on performance...]

[Rewards: title: job: dungeoneer, perk upgrade card or title upgrade card]

[new class (2)dungeoneer leveled up to lvl 1 you gain +1 luck, +1 perception]

(A.n: i will put (2) before any job that gives him 2 stat point and (3) if 3 stats and so on. Also this dungeoneer job will give him +1 luck on every lvl up and a random stat besides luck)

'hmm perk upgrade card seems better'

And a fancy golden card that seems to be glowing appeared in my hand so i tried duplicating it.

[Perk upgrade card: upgrades one of your perks to the next level. Rarity: N/A

Duplication time: 10 hours]

I sigh as i put the card into my mouth while still duplicating it and go on a computer and start learning about random stuff.

<9 hours 59 minutes later>

I have learned a few skills to the 1st level and jobs

[You have gained jobs craftsman and researcher you get +2int]

[You gained skills research and crafting]

And soon after i read those notifications a second golden card appeared in my hand i had a smile from ear to ear as i started thinking of what should i use it on.

(End of chapter)
