I was sitting on the cold floor of the destroyed school building.Debris everywhere. Blood splatters on the walls. Curses turned to ash.
And in the center of it all…me.
Still alive.Somehow.
Megumi stared at me like I'd grown a second head.
"…You ate it.""Yep.""Are you insane?""Probably."
Then I heard his voice cut through the silence—cold and unwavering.
"Stay right where you are. You're no longer human.Under Jujutsu regulations… Yuji Itadori—I will now exorcise you as a curse," Megumi Fushiguro declared.
Before he could yell at me again, the air shifted.
My body stiffened. Instinct screamed at me to run… but before I could even twitch, he walked in.
Casually. Like he owned the world.
Blindfold. Snow-white hair. A lazy grin that somehow felt more dangerous than any snarl.
Gojo Satoru.
While he and Fushiguro exchanged words, my thoughts spun in frantic circles. There's no way. I can't run from this guy. Not now. Not ever.I might've stood a chance against Megumi if I'd pushed it… but Gojo?No chance. Zero.
But fighting him—just as a test run—should be fine.If I want to live the way I want, I need strength. And to test that strength… why not go against the strongest?I smiled.
Defeating him? Impossible.
So… go with the flow—…Screw that.
If I join Jujutsu High, I'll be painting a target on my back.Who cares. If anyone dares, I'll unleash Sukuna on them… or die trying.
"Did you find it yet?" Gojo's voice snapped me back to reality.
I raised my hand, hesitant. "Uh… if you're talking about the finger… yeah. I, uh… ate it."
His grin widened. "Really?"
"Yes. He did," Fushiguro muttered darkly, as if saying the words left a bad taste in his mouth.
Then Gojo stepped forward—closing the distance in a blur.
Too close.
"He really did bind with you? Anything… unusual happening with your body?" His tone was teasing, but his covered eyes seemed to pierce straight through me.
I swallowed hard. "Nah… seems fine. Other than, you know… feeling stronger than before."
"Great! Let's fight. I want to see your capability. I sense something in you… about to bloom. Then switch with Sukuna.Give us ten seconds… and then change back into yourself. Don't worry—"
His eyes flashed behind the blindfold.
"—I'm way too strong for him."
He teleported.
I blinked.
Then his foot was already swinging at my face.
BAM.
I blocked just in time, skidding backward across the floor. The shockwave shattered a wall behind me.
"WHAT THE HELL, MAN!?" I yelled.
Gojo tilted his head. "Don't die."
Sukuna interferes.
I forced cursed energy into my muscles, lunged forward, and threw a punch.
Gojo sidestepped lazily and flicked my forehead.
BOOM.
The floor cratered under me.
"Pathetic," Sukuna's voice hissed inside my head."Let me take over, brat. I'll kill him."
"Shut up," I muttered.
Gojo raised an eyebrow. "Talking to yourself? Y'know, that's a red flag."
"Just… fighting for custody of my body," I grunted.
I stood up again. Blood trickled down my face.
And then—my vision shifted.
Jugan — True Sight.
The world slowed.
The Jugan activated on its own, glowing faint crimson with pale threads spiraling across my eyes.
Gojo's movements stopped being a blur.I could see the cursed energy currents around him—like a living storm of infinity.
Every step, every twitch, every attack vector.I could predict it all.
So this is the Jugan…
I moved.Not faster—just… smarter.
Gojo threw a kick. I slipped under it.He swept my leg; I flipped over him.
For the first time, he actually smiled.
"Oooh. Now that's interesting."
My blood ran cold."Wait—what—"
He flicked his finger.
The air detonated.
I slammed into the wall so hard the impact stole the breath from my lungs. The ground cracked beneath my feet before I even hit it.
He hadn't even touched me.
Gojo was still standing there, hands in his pockets, like he'd just swatted a fly."Hmm. Your body's holding up. Impressive. But…" His smile sharpened. "…who's really in control?"
A cold laugh echoed inside my skull.
Tch. Finally.
Sukuna's voice slithered through me, dripping with amusement.
Before I could protest, black markings scorched across my skin, crawling like living ink. My heartbeat thundered in my ears.
I wasn't breathing anymore—he was.
"Move aside, brat," Sukuna hissed. "I've been dying to kill this one."
"Ahhh… there he is."Gojo pushed his blindfold up just enough to show those cold, cerulean eyes. They shimmered like the edge of a blade."The King of Curses."
"Gojo Satoru…" Sukuna's mouth curved into a feral grin, using my lips. "…let's see if you're worth the hype."
The room collapsed into motion.
Sukuna blurred forward, faster than my eyes could follow. A clawed slash ripped the floor open like paper. Gojo only tilted his head, the attack slicing harmlessly past as if space itself bent around him.
"Too slow," Gojo said casually—and then he was behind us.
Boom.
A shockwave erupted as Sukuna blocked, the force cratering the walls. Gojo's Infinity hummed, warping the air. Cursed energy howled between them, raw and blinding.
Sukuna growled, muscles tensing. But something in Gojo's voice—calm, absolute—made even him hesitate.
"Eight… nine… that should do it," Gojo murmured.
And I started suppressing,Sukuna slipping, screaming, clawing as I forced him back down into the pit inside me.
I gasped. My body was mine again.
It was… simple as that.
Looks like I really am stronger than the original Yuji. It's finally confirmed.I'm… happy.
"So, how did it go?" I asked, voice still shaky.
Gojo's verdict. He smirked.
"Okay, okay," Gojo said, clapping his hands. "Test over. You pass."
"…Huh?"
"You've got potential. You really can control that guy. You've got weird eyes. Crazy cursed energy. You're perfect."
"For what?" I asked warily.
"For Tokyo Jujutsu High. You're coming with me."
I opened my mouth to argue.
Then Sukuna spoke again.
Yes… go. Get stronger. I want a better body to steal.
Not happening, I shot back.
Gojo reached down and yanked me up.
