I smiled and chuckled at what I remembered as I watched my friends walk in front of me. When we were young, I used to be the fifth wheel every time my friends had a date. I was always behind them but Coleen and Arthur always accompanied me so I wouldn't be out of place. Then I'd just look at them how happy they are with their partners. It's nice to have someone who can be there for you thru ups and downs. Unfortunately, I don't have someone I can rely on. I guess, I'll be forever alone and I'm ready for it.
I used to be envious of my friends who have boyfriends was because they had someone who can fetch them and bring them back to their home. When I grew up I realized that the reason why I wanted to enter into a relationship was so superficial. Now, I don't know if I want to enter into a relationship. I can't see my future with random guys.
"Louise." Jacob called me and then he waited for me to come beside him.
"Why?" I asked as I stood up next to him.
"What are you thinking?" He asked.
He placed his hands inside his pockets.
"Why I'm still single." I paused. "But I remember that I'm praying for someone." I smiled.
"Is it Marvin Hyung?" Jacob looked straight into my eyes.
I nodded and smiled at him. "Imagine, I'm still praying for Marvin until now. And now he's in front of me but it seems like he's on the other side of this resort. He's still far away from me."
"Why don't you divert your feelings to another person? There's a lot of guys who are into you." Jacob asked.
"How did you know that?" I laughed at what he said.
He looked in the other direction just to avoid my stare.
"I-I just guessed it? You're beautiful inside and out so everyone will like you." He said.
"Thank you. I'm flattered but you're not sure about that." I said to Jacob as my eyebrows went up and down.
"Hey, guys! Please hurry! You're such a flirt, Louise!" Lovie shouted from a distance.
"Let's go." I said before I held Jacob's arm and we ran towards them.
When we arrived at the spot there were two motorboats and two banana boats waiting for us. The banana boat has 4 seats.
"The three of us will be on last." Axel said.
"Are you sure?" Coleen asked us.
"Yes. Who will be first? Is it RealSeven or you guys?" Sheena asked.
Emmanuel approached RealSeven to ask them if they wanna go first.
"Guys, do you wanna ride it first?" I heard Emmanuel ask.
"No, we're okay. You guys can go first." Marvin replied.
"Are you sure?" Emmanuel asked again.
"Yeah, yeah." Ivan said.
They wore a life vest then Arthur, Coleen, Laura, and Emmanuel ride on one banana boat. While Andrew, Haye, Lovie, and Daniel ride on it also.
"Enjoy guys! I hope you'll drown in the sea!" Axel suddenly shouted.
"I hope you all fall." Marie wished it too.
"Fighting!" Ivan shouted at them.
The banana boat they were riding in was up and running. At first, it was smooth but as time went on it accelerated and the banana boat they were riding was flying. Shortly afterward while they were in the middle of the ocean, Laura's boat turn upside down, and Lovie's boat followed. We laughed out loud as we watched them in the middle of the sea.
"We'll next! I'm excited!" I said excitedly.
"Let's place Axel in the center then I'm in the front and you're in the back." Sheena commanded us.
I just nodded and the three of us held the arms of each other. We were just waiting at the groups while they are boarded on the boat. When they came down they also laughed at themselves.
"They should've killed us." Lovie said as Daniel supported her.
"It is fast but it's super fun, guys." Laura said while smiling ear to ear.
"It's a bit scary because you just have to hold on to the handle so you don't fall. " Coleen said to us.
"Really? I get even more excited." My smile widened but it disappeared when I remembered that I didn't know how to swim.
"Did you swim?" I asked a stupid question.
"Nope. You're wearing a life vest, Louise." Haye answered.
They had already removed their life vest and handed it to us. I quickly put on my life vest and immediately boarded on the third column of the banana boat. I just waited for them to board as well. I looked at the other banana boat, Jake, Marie, Junior, and Rayner were also on board.
"Sheena takes a lot of time to put on her life vest." Axel said as he sat down in front of me.
I looked behind me to check Sheena if she was done but she's still not.
"Yah! Aren't u done until now?" I asked her.
Haye helped her so she ended up as well and she ran towards us.
"You're so slow. I guess you were a turtle in your past life." Axel said while frowning.
"You're always mad at me, Axel that's why you're becoming even more monster." She backfired.
I just laughed at them while spitting nonsensical words.
"Hey, Louise. It has still space behind you." Marie said from the other banana boat.
"Maybe it's okay if we're just three of us." I hesitated to answer.
"Oh Ma'am, it's better if there are four of you so you don't fall quickly." We heard someone said who assist us.
"Uncle, don't fool us. Even though the four of us were sitting here I still fell for his sweet words." Axel suddenly said.
"Hey, worm! You should've kept your mouth shut. Do you want to die?" Junior said while pointing at Axel.
"Uncle, where is it more painful to fall? Is it at sea or with someone who can't love you back?" I asked him.
They laughed at my question.
"You should've too! We want to throw you at the sea." Junior said as he clung to Rayner.
Five of us are still busy changing hurtful words and we haven't left yet because we are still missing one.
"Who wants to join with them?" Marie asked our friends.
We looked at all of them. RealSeven and Cloud 9 were talking as if they had a plan on how to kill us.
"I'll join you." Marvin said as he running towards us.
My friends and I looked at each other and they teased me through their gazes. I looked again at Marvin who wasn't wearing a shirt and only a life vest covering his upper body.
"Are you guys ready?" Marvin asked as he sat down behind me.
"Yes!" We shouted.
"Lezzgo!" Marvin shouted also.
The banana boat we were riding in was already up and running but it was like a turtle pulling at us.
"UNCLE PLEASE HURRY UP!" I shouted so he can hear me.
It seems that the driver who was in the motorboat got annoyed, so he suddenly accelerated it. I hold on tight because anytime it seems that I'll fall into the sea but it's scarier to fall deeply into the person behind me.
"UNCLE, IT'S JUST A JOKE DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY! YOU HAVE NO WAGE FROM MEEEEEEEEE!!!" I suddenly shouted.
The banana boat we were riding in was flying and the seawater was also entering my mouth.
"UNCLE, STOP IT! HAVE PITY ON ME!" Axel also shouted while laughing.
I looked behind me because I could hear Marvin's laughter.
"ARE YOU HAPPY?!" I asked him.
"YEAHHHHHH!! MORE THAN YOU THINK!" Marvin yelled it first before we simultaneously fell into the sea.
"DID YOU THINK IT IS FUN?! IT IS NOT! THE SEAWATER IS VERY SALTY!" We heard Axel shout.
We were in the middle of the sea while floating. We were taken on a boat to go back to our companions. As we set our feet on the sand, non-stop laughter and storytelling happened between us. We removed the life vest and gave it to RealSeven. They also have missed one.
"Louise! Join us once again." Jacob said.
My forehead is wrinkled because I just finished drinking seawater and then he asked me again to go with them?
My friends betrayed me, they pushed me to join them.
"Louise, don't be ashamed. This is your chance to be with Marvin again." Haye teased me.
They gave me my life vest again so I wore it and went to them.
"Louise, fighting!" My friends cheered on me.
"I'll kill you all when I get back!" I threatened them.
"Why are you there? Sit with us." Jacob said before moving on to the last.
"No. No. I'll go with the maknae line." I said before I rode in front of Justin.
"Are you ready again, Louise?" Karl asked me.
"As always Karl Oppa." I smiled in response.
"Let's go!" Yohan shouted.
I looked at my friends first and stood up. "Annyeong! I will take revenge when I return!" I shouted.
Our banana boat was already running. I heard Justin's cute laugh so I couldn't help but also laugh. We just shouted when we suddenly fell into the water.
"IT'S SALTY!" I shouted in my language.
They looked at me confused because they didn't understand what I shouted. There is also the advantage of having different languages. I just smiled at them and then I looked at the clear sky while floating. The boat we are riding on arrived. I was on the stairs when someone reached out to help me. I thought one of the people on the boat assisting me but it was Justin. I held his hand and thanked him for helping me. I just kept quiet while we were coming back because I was already feeling dizzy.
After the activity, we went back to our respective rooms. The three of us took a shower and then took a nap. When I woke up, the two of them were no longer in their beds. I thought it was night and I hadn't seen the sunset yet but it was only 4:30 in the afternoon. I got up and left the room. I went straight out of the hotel and stretched first before I sat down on the sand. I saw Sheena talking to Jacob from a distance.
She will experience how hard it is to talk to RealSeven.
I looked to my right side and saw Johan alone as he stared into space so I thought of approaching him.
