Back in the Unknown Universe,
Dante ran all around the world, looking for any kind of life for the sixth time.
"Seriously, Dante. You're going to tire yourself out if you keep running like that." Avery said as she ran up beside Dante.
"I'm fine Avery. I'd released the Codex seal a while ago. Truthfully, I'm surprised you didn't sense that." Suddenly, they both stopped in a field. They both had a cold expression on their faces. "Avery," Dante said.
"Yeah, I just realized it. Something is blocking out our perception and senses. There's someone watching us." Avery said.
A burst of laughter echoes around them. "Impressive. I'm shocked that the royal princess was able to sense my presence. But you are their child. I expect no less." A woman said as she and a big fat man with deformed features appeared.
"Who are you?" Avery said.
"You're not qualified to know my name, princess. Just be a good princess and be a good bait." The woman said.
"Where's Robyn?! Dante yells.
"Robyn? Was that the girl I fed to my cosmic wolf?" The woman said as a humongous pitch-black wolf appeared. Its eyes were completely empty and vast like space. It growled. "And beings like you are his favorites."
"Dante, can you handle this alone?" Avery asked.
"Okay, but what are you going to do?" Dante said.
"Something disgusting," she said as she charged at the wolf. "Robyn, you better appreciate this." Avery said as she flew inside of the wolf's mouth, shocking Dante.
"Wow, suicide. I would have never expected that from a princess." The woman said arrogantly.
Dante took a deep breath. Slowly, His body transformed. His hair grew to his shoulder blades and became black and silver. His body became slimmer, and more defined. His eyes became silver. "Seems like I have no choice, but to take this seriously."
"Oh, looks like there's more to him that meets the eye. Seems like we won't be too bored." The woman said, smiling maliciously.
Instantly, Dante appeared between the woman and the deformed man. Reacting, the deformed man punches as hard as he could. However, Dante appears above him and punches him, knocking him into the ground. Landing, he launched himself at the woman and punched. The woman blocked and smiled, causing a humongous shockwave behind her.
"You're more interesting than I thought. Maybe I'll keep you." she said.
Meanwhile inside the Void Wolf,
"Gross!" Avery thought as she floated through its esophagus, covered in its saliva. "I will never do this again." Avery thought as slime drips on her and in her hair.
Suddenly, the esophagus became a dark vast tunnel, that expanded for miles. Confused, Avery stopped and looked around her.
"Is this possible? The Void?" Avery thought.
"Yes, all Cosmic and Void beasts' mouths are connected to this place. It's what makes their hungry insatiable." A Void's Avatar said appearing in front of her.
"So, I need to find Robyn right now. She won't last long here." Avery said.
"Don't worry. I've already sent her to Hikojima. She'll be out of it for a while since she was exposed to pure Void energy. Luckily, she has been around you, Dante, and the others, so she won't die."
"Okay, then let me run something by you."
"Yes, you can move the Compound here."
"What?"
"Oops, too soon. What was it you'd wanted to ask?"
"Well, I wanted to know more about this universe. And, that woman and deformed man."
"Well, that universe was supposed to be a surprise wedding gift for you all. But Juno and her stepson, Heracles, ruined that."
"What? That lady was Hera! She looked so different."
"No, that wasn't your mother, Hera. That was Juno from another universe where Greek and Roman cultures intertwine. And let's just say she's the jealous type." The Void's Avatar said as she floats in a relaxed way.
"Jealous type? You don't mean?"
"Yes, she has a strong hatred for the women of the Lucrada family. Specifically, Anko and her kids."
"Greeeat! So, she has a problem with me." Avery thought, disappointedly. "Wait, that doesn't explain why she able to control a Void beast or why she's so strong." Avery said.
"Well, truthfully, I don't know. I guess she absorbed some of Anko's Primordial power the last time they fought. Anko was determined to kill her that time. Guess it had the opposite effects."
"Okay, I need to call Anko and tell her about Juno and Heracles. Maybe she can do something about Juno." Avery thought as she pulls out her phone. Suddenly, she receives a call from Reo.
"This is a first for him." She thought as she answered. "Hello,"
"It seems you found out about your surprise. Do you like it?" Reo said.
"Well, it's a little barren and desolate." Avery said.
"Well, it was supposed to serve a home for you and family. We made it big enough so you all would have enough space to really let go. And it's built like the World beyond the Void. So, you all can release your true selves and powers."
"Wow,"
"And don't worry about Juno. Anko is already headed there to help Dante if he needs it. Something tells me Juno is biting more off than she can chew fighting him."
"Yeah, definitely when it comes to Robyn. How many times have he fought for Robyn's sake?"
"You mean fighting against her father? Or in general?"
"Speaking of fathers, Happy birthday?" Avery said.
"Aw, that's sweet. Thank you. And make sure to tell Megra 'Happy Birthday' from me too."
"What?"
"You do realize that your beloved wife's birthday is today. Huh… now that I think about it, she probably doesn't know either." Reo said.
"I need to get back to Dante, and plan something for Megra." Avery said before hanging up and taking off into a portal.
