In Alpha 6's orbit,
The Inter-Universal ship, Vulcan Mk X, flies out of a portal.
"Okay, we're back home. I'm going to lock the ship into orbit. Then we can teleport to the surface."
"Like the temple?" Emi said.
"Yeah, most of ISL's HQs have this function. Makes it easier to travel to and from places like this." Megra said.
"This is Director Amos of D.E.R.A.D. Calling all available hands… we have an Omega level threat. Report to Paris ASAP." Sydney's came over their comms.
"Okay, we need to make a detour. Emi, can you wait here while we handle the problem on Earth?" Megra said.
"Seriously? I can help. I dealt with worst in the other universe." Emi said.
"No, Emi. Dante would kill us if we let you in a warzone without the proper equipment." Megra said.
"Meaning… if I had a suit like Auntie JiaLi, I could come. Right?" Emi said.
Megra looked at Kira, hoping for help. Kira sighed as she called over Emi with a finger. "Emi, you can come. But only with a few conditions." Kira said as she knelt on one knee.
"Okay," Emi said.
"First, you need to stay by my side at all times. Second, if I or Megra tells you to escape by yourself, run away as fast as this suit can get you away. Third, under no circumstance should you use anyone's real name. Codenames only. You do remember yours, right?"
"AstraKid," Emi said.
"Good. And, lastly, don't tell your father I did this." Kira said as she touched Emi's forehead, imbuing her with a small portion of her latent powers. Just enough for her to control. "I'll teach you how to use them on the way there."
"To the Javelin," Megra said.
"Javelin?" They responded.
The Solar System, near Jupiter,
A red and white jet zooms out of a portal and passing the planet.
"ETA to Earth, five minutes," Megra said.
"Wonder why Talia or Amalia didn't call for the ISL. A giant robot invasion should be a problem we should be handling." Kira said.
"Well, knowing them, they probably didn't want to interrupt all of us during our vacations from HeroVerse." Megra said as she activated the autopilot.
"Okay, I can get that. But still, we should've gotten a call." Kira said.
"Mom, are you even a member of the ISL?" Leah said.
"Well, not officially. But, I have the same authority as Dante and the other founding members. And, I still have access to Hero's Pavilion and the other HQs throughout the Universe." Kira answered.
"How many members are there in the ISL?" Avi asked.
"Don't remember. Been gone for a while. Universal time shifting." Megra answered.
"Right… We should probably find a way around that. It seems very inconvenient."
"Yeah, Dante and Avery are working on that." Megra said.
