"What is this?" the Guardian Tiger asked with a curious expression. "A pill you humans make?"
"No, this is not a pill," Alex quickly said, looking down at the blood core in his hand. He had never even considered it to look anything like a pill. However, now that he was thinking about it, in a way, it was.
The formation of the blood core was an alchemy where the ingredients were a beast core and his own blood. He was surprised he had never seen it that way.
"What is it then?" the Guardian Tiger asked.
"It's a blood beast," Alex said. "Something I create using my blood and a beast core. It's the thing I asked you about the last time I came here."
"Oh, I've seen these things through her eyes," the Guardian Tiger said. "Aren't they usually in the form of a beast?"
Alex let the blood core come to life as it morphed into a beast of blood and sun, taking on the shape of a wolf.
