"I am leaving soon," Alex told the tree once he began his conversation.
"I am aware," the tree replied. "I have been watching you all this time. I am thankful that you decided to come."
"Of course I would," Alex said. "I have to thank you for the fruit you provided me with. It has helped me greatly."
"I am happy to hear that," the tree said. "With your constitution, you should be able to consume up to two more before there is no more improvement to be had from it."
"Two more? One can eat only three in total?" Alex asked.
"Not just anyone. Most can't eat past just a piece of my fruit. Some can consume my entire fruit, but those are very rare. Only a handful could eat two without being unable to continue, let alone three."
"Is that so?" Alex asked with a bit of surprise. "Then I hope you wouldn't mind providing me with a few more fruits."
