Chapter 32 - Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon Part 1 A Prince

Hector stood in the Hall of the Main Temple for Tiamat that he built. Through the last few months, it was one of his guilty pleasures. Returning to building with his hands and directing various architectural projects. Oh, how he had plans for building the square for the Country. But it could wait until he had the power, not just his control of his abilities as a Champion, but power in the scope of military personnel.

Without Class Changing, his growth would be stunted. Which was something he and Tiamat did not like. Acquiring a Heaven's Seal had proven to be difficult and to expensive. So the plan of having him go to another Dimension was implemented. Even if it was just a Subsidary one.

With his Aspect of Chaos and preparation by Tiamat for the last couple of months, it would be a safe trip. Richard, as his Lord Regent, and who knew everything about Hector, would remain in his place to take care of the nation until he returned. With the time dilation, it shouldn't be to long wherever he is going and back here if he does it right, going there and back. Not what he would have to deal with while there..

*Crack!* Space broke apart as Hector used the full might of his power to create an opening. It was just that, an Opening and not something he could fit through at this size he was at. So he had to get a little more forceful with it. Hands gripping at the seams of the Dimension, he made a bigger hole and stepped through it before his strength gave out.

The corridor between Dimensions was quiet and calm. He walked down the path and took the first option that was available out of sheer practicality of the situation. First time doing such a thing for one, two, he was out of whatever little bit of Chaos Aspect power he held. Three, he couldn't risk something being in the place and snatching him up or worse, letting it creep into the place he came from. Tiamat said it rarely happened as a lot of Deity like creatures were to busy going from place to place or sending champions about o do anything.

It was a greenish spectral door that gave the feeling of wonder and ancientness.

On the other side, the doorway started to manifest in front of a young man wearing a Tiara. This was Prince Marth, the son of King Altea and blood descendant of the Hero who, years ago killed Medeus and freed the land from evil.

"Hmm!?" Marth took a few steps away just in time as a doorway appeared. A flurry of colors shot out and wrapped the room with power he couldn't quite understand. "What magic is this!?"

The entirety of the Dimension froze in a way Hector would yet to understand yet even comprehend. A flicker of Tiamat's power stirred within him as she existed there ut not really there due to her own condition.

Hector was out of synch briefly with the Dimension and with being a Champion of Chaos, Destiny, the one's who reach hit every Pantheon was the only Deity that exceeded Chaos, that touched every Pantheon.

Destiny's plan and laid groundwork for what would happen to this Dimension now had a variable. Hector, who could act in any Dimension as if he were a resident born and raised there, even without reincarnating into it created a place in its History for himself.

*Schup!* Hectr took in the natural Chaos of the Dimension. Something his abilities and overall power still needed to grow, both as a Champion and a potential Deity. This power tied directly into that which he already had, such as his status screen that allowed him to view his personal characteristics in numerical form.

*Drip!* A single solitary drop echoed out of his being, as the Primordial Sea within increased in Range, Depth, and Capacity. Slowly, new Blueprints echoed across the waters surface while small beneficial items appeared with changes to their base structure.

Oh, how he could boost his forces now. Well, once he gathered enough material components, anyway. The items that belong to this Dimension exclusively were opened up to be able to use back home.

Hector stepped through the doorway fully, rubbing his hair, then checking himself over on habit. Nothing was amiss, and he felt pretty damn good from the changes in his body. Hefting his spear, Maltet upon his shoulder, he turned just in time to catch the pathway of a weapon.

*Schlick!* The tip of a rapier cut along Hector's cheek before the wound started closing back up from the glancing blow. Marth felt a wave of fear overtake him as the intruder stared through him like a beast looking at a meal.

"Who are you!?" The Altean prince felt his knees start to go out, but he remained upright. 'He looks a little like one of those old men in the Ancestral Foyer!'

*Schlick!* Hector swung the spear lightly as he was going to kill the youngster. Luckily, his mind caught up with him at the last moment, and he pulled back a little. The tiara went flying in the air.

'This is that boy, Marry or something, right?' Hector thought as he saw the tiara bounce about and a clack on the floor, a look of the room once more cleared about any issues little up. 'This doesn't look like any girl's room. No wait, his name was Marth! How did I mess that up?'

"Ahhhh!" Marth gave a scream of terror as this was the nearest he ever was to death. 'Will I die here!?' Landing on his but he reached for his rapier frantically. 'Can' just stare like an idiot!'

Given enough time, he got ready to fight back, not taking into account his opponent paid him no attention.

Hector had take the time to move about the room and grabbed the tiara as the boy was not a threat to him at this time. Holding it a shit-eating grin came across his face as the item had the last piece he needed.

*Warble!* Magical energy started to build up around the Tiara. Using it and all the other promotion items; then and there the room lit up with a blinding light. He promoted using the royal item that was infused with Heavenly Seal power. From his armor changing color and the pieces condensing in size, Hector felt lighter with the rush of power.

The Aspect of Chaos grew a hundredfold and he could feel the Internal Space expand its borders within him along with the Primordial Sea changing properties somewhat. Where the changes from entering the Dimesnion were volatile and possibly unstable, the changes were concrete and soft now.

A very different bit of Chaos compared to his usual methods.

"Lord Marth," a soldier opened the door as he was already on his way to deliver a message but became frantic looking at the young lord so frantic. The room was not in real disarray. "..I mean, Prince Marth are you awake due to a bad dream?"

Hector had dismissed the spear before the man opened the door, and with his appearance and demeano,r the soldier thought it was a member of the family. Of not a noble coming to speak with the prince.

"Who are you?"

"I am Hector, a visiting Lord." Smiling the champion offered a hand towards Marth and patted his shoulder. "the prince here was trying to show me a move but was poor at executing it."

"I see, begging your pardon, sires, but the princess has asked to see you, Prince Marth."

"Elice? Is she all right?" Marth's care for his sister made him push other matters to the side. Turning away from the soldier, he stared at Hector and was amazed about the changes. The oppressive feeling and overall danger were now gone. 'He was strong before, now he exudes power more than my father! Why is he here?'

"She seemed to be, sire, but her words implied a certain urgency. She bade you dress quickly and wait by the throne."

"...Has something happened?"

"It's our forces off in Gra, sire. There seems to 'ave been some sort of incident, but... Well, I'm not privy to the specifics." The tone of the soldier was quite clear as he was trying to get out of the room very quickly. 'Hurry up you little brat!'

"I see... Thank you. I'll be there shortly." Marth watched the soldier leave for the door but stopped right there. "Is something the matter?"

"No, sire. Nothing at all." The soldier answered promptly before heading out. 'No way the kingdom survives after the loss of the king. We definitely made the right call when dealing with the royal family.'

Hector moved to follow as he left Marth to collect himself. Not stopping when the boy prince called out to him.

Running his hands over the structure while walking, Hector took in a deep breath. Getting use to the class promotion and his enhanced senses would take some time. Not to mention the changes in the Primordial Sea he would need to uncover.

Footsteps could be heard down the corridor.

"Over there, that's him! Prince Marth!" Another soldier called out when spotting Hector. "Capturing alive and unharmed is a big reward!"

The few Altean soldiers that still drew breath new better. They did not say anything as they tried to keep their lives against better numbers and better-skilled opponents.

*Shine!* Hand extended, Hector healed the Altean soldiers from their wounds somewhat. Enough they would be able to fight back a little longer. His stave skills really needed to be pushed harder and farther in usage.

"You lot should identify yourself before you die, don't you think?" Smiling Hector did not stop moving or healing the others. 'A good time to improve my healing skills in combat. Especially on neutral parties in the field.'

"We're soldiers of Gra, li'l prince. And if you know what's good for you, you'll surrender to us without makin' any trouble." The soldier had to defend himself from the recovered forces or he would have taunted Hector. "You think this will be enough to stop us?"

"Surrender?" Hector lunged forward, grabbing an enemy soldier by the throat then crushing it in an instant. His frame was just a bulwark of power and speed used correctly. "How ridiculous... Why would I surrender to a bunch of dead men?"

"Meh heh heh... he has a little fight in him!" The soldier was a little unhinged seeing his comrade's limp body drop. "They don't tell you much, do they? No matter."

He was then intercepted by two of the Altean soldiers. On the surface their wounds still looked bad but internally, they were scores better. Even slight improvements compared to what basic healing would have given them.

"You'll 'ave the full story soon enough. Now...lay down your.." The soldier shut his mouth as two Altean soldiers got up from the floor and stabbed him in the back. "Kuff!"

Down the corridor, soldiers who heard Marth scream earlier had come this way. They did not expect such an encounter from Hector who theyidentified as not being Marth, as they could see the actual prince a few feet away, trembling in fright from the bloodshed.

"Don't just stand there!" Hector gave a shout. "Revenge is best served by one;s own hands! Kill the intruders!" He kept a smile on afterward as he to was an intruder of sorts.
