Melitha listened to Serra attentively. The do's and don'ts if she didn't want to die from causing trouble. Her son was asleep in her arms. The idea that Hector actually served a Goddess that was a powerful Deity with various forms was new to her. She knew he was a human so that was all that mattered at first.
"So you are a Priestess of..."
"Technically, Tiamat through the extension of Hector. I have a tougher body and improved hearing. Magic is harder to advance, but I am happy." Serra would not change this life for another. Hector may commit acts of cruelty, but those under him lived well, and his territories are prosperous so far. "Raise your son and find your own path in life. Forget about returning to being a dragon at this point. Caused you nothing but pain and suffering from what I gathered."
"Yes.. it may be for the best." Looking at her son, Melitha was only upset that he would never know what it feels like to do such a thing as transforming. To feel the pulse of magic so deeply and fly high in the sky. "Will Hector really destroy those legendary weapons? I just don't think he would."
"Most likely, he will. A lot of Legendary weapons are getting destroyed as far as I know. Besides the Tome Apocalypse, since it works wonders for his magic study, a few others have already been wiped out as far as the public knows. But doesn't matter since those blessed by the Goddess Tiamat can ignore the Deity protection of certain armors and bodies."
"What!?"
"We are all those who can kill Divine creatures and Tools. Fighting against us will have to rely on ones Body, Mind, and their Magic. That is what is taught. Keep in mind we still need the actual power to do it."
"I see the power that exists in Hector." Melitha voiced out with a little anger. "He is a monster with Legendary Weapons at his disposal. Even more so than Hartmut."
"Please do not insult him like that." Serra gave a warning look. "This is the temple of TIamat after all and he is her Champion. Though nothing untoward will happen to you, I also donn't want to hear it. I understand what he did to you was... harsh but it was better than what would or could happen."
"Was it truly. I am a prisoner."
"You can leave if you want to." The voice of Tiamat cut through the temple as she formed above a small pool. "Hector mostly wants you here to learn from you but also to give you a place of safety. A lot of people would love to get ahold of your knowledge if not your flesh."
"My flesh?" Melitha didn't quite understand. "I can not turn into a dragon anymore, my body is barely any different from humans."
"Hector took away what made you a dragon yes, but if you were to lay with someone and have children, odds are they will have the traits of your original body. Also, pregnancy would cause what he took away to start restoring." Tiamat took a few steps along the waters surface. "Hector focused more on keeping the target alive instead of making the spell thorough and permanent."
"You are kidding?" Melitha asked with a conflicting look. the idea of attaining her form back through mating was a tough that never entered her mind. "Would that be the same for my son?"
As the woman got into the discussion more, Hector was going through his journal and catalog of the Nation's first two years.

Chronicle-
.
Within the first 11 months, Hector consolidated power and his territory mostly. Politically, he worked full force to establish his nation and those under it with unrelenting positions. Using political structure, the forces of Elibe didn't have or couldn't use, as it put power in the hands of people not their own. The commoners found this fantastic as it pushed away hereditary power and forced only those of merit and knowledge to have the position.
This was also the biggest upset and most bloodshed caused in the territory. As Hector prepared for the maneuvering of a few people. Deployed spies brought forth all the evidence for those trying to sabotage the new politicians. The trials were not hushed or hidden behind close doors, were backroom dealing could get involved.
Those involved were executed by Hector's hand directly. Creating unease for Bluebloods who thought they could work there way to a position of power after some time passed. The commoners felt even more emboldened to take the positions and make the country better. They were able to happily tell their children they could achieve their dreams fairly if they worked hard.
Bulgar, Tuscana, Araphen, Kathelet, Tania, and Taras made up his territory. It was more than Hector thought would come under his control at once, but the people loved the idea of the police force that took care of the bandits. The Renaissance-level technology that Hector introduced to make their lives better also brought a lot of sway. Less work in the fields as well as easier conditions due to magic being used to help till the land, improved the quality of living.
Dropping a wall to house his entire nation took a long time, even with the help of his magic. The nation was formed very hastily by a lot of people, but they couldn't do much just yet, as the Black Fang and the movement of Nergal caused a lot of trouble for everyone.
The loyal true members of the Black Fang were starting to cause trouble against the changing regime. For the Old Fang as they were being called, heard the talks of the people an the whispers of certain organizations that worked in the same field as them but were less skilled.
Nations like Bern had to deal with their own internal struggle, so they could not afford to deal with some upstart like Hector. The remainder of the Lycian league dealt with the fallout of not taking care of Hector and how he was able to sway so many territories under him. A few more were distancing themselves to try and remain neutral with him out of necessity.
Eturia put pressure on House Ostia but were rebuffed every step of the way and told very clearly to worry about their own issues instead of everyone else. With the trouble going on in the Lycian League, the Black Fang were forced to take more contracts in Eturia and Bern compared to the other nations.
Ostia, Caelin, and Pherae grew closer as they felt the need to band together under such tough times ahead. The backroom deals between the three were even beyond Hector's spies to gather info on right now. But Caelin still gave sparse information to Hector.
Laus, Badon, Ryerde, Thria, and Worde formed a secondary Lycian council under the guise of not trusting the others. The Sacean tribes were restless as the change in beliefs was met with a very strong opposition that the Mani Katti and Legendary Mulagir chose Hector. With him wielding Maltet as well, some were wondering what Ilia would do.
Ilia had grown silent in all matters and just continued to adapt to the changes in their lands. The increase in water brought more fish into the area but also creatures that walked on land and lived in the ocean to deal with they very rarely saw. They also had to build a small Naval force due to weather changes to go along with their Aerial Force of Riders.
Of course only a few knew that Ilia and Hector already had a contract.
Sigune was the Air Force General and Royal Guard member closest to Hector. The first Ilia knights that were Pegasus Riders were in her retinue that remained wherever the most population would be at any given time. The sisters Florina, Farina, and Fiora, with Farina as the 2nd Air Force General, patrolled all over and saw to the day to day affairs. With Florina, who remained at a low officer rank, mostly staying with Caelin to be near Lyndis.
On paper Caelin was just close with the new nation rising under Hector. But those who knew that he was the reason the nation was back under the Marques saw the relationship as a dangerous one. Lady Madelyn had succeeded her father as the ruler with only a few troubles stirring from her ties with Sacaens. Her daughter Lyndis' beauty had already drawn the attention of twisted nobles but none made a move due to several generals still in Calien. Wallace and Eagler the most dangerous as they took it upon themselves to increase the strength of the forces for the inevitable war coming.
Lyndis was torn between staying near her mother and learning all she could and returning to the Plains were life was simpler. Her father spent more and more time away from court and out in the Plains looking for members of the Lorca tribe.
Serra and Priscilla were leading the charge in spreading the religion of Tiamat. Its doctrine was simple and easy, so the people who needed spiritual guidance joined quickly. With the close watch over by the police department in regards to those who worked in orphanages, the children were growing up well and did not have to deal with abuse like in most other nations. The fallout from Civil Wars and Terrority raids left a lot of homes broken and this was just what the people needed.
Lucius made sure of that. Both himself and Raven were part of the police force and the forming of the Internal Affairs department. The former mostly worried about places that housed orphans.
Clyde and Vincent had grown strong as Temple heads in their respective places. With the influx of Ilia mercenaries set up there as well, they had the martial strength to defend the places as they grew. Along with the first people on Hector raised in Ostia they were listed in the Country's Charter with namesakes awarded to them.
Geitz worked with Dart in establishing the Navy. Moving back and forth through the waterways and developing better charting was their overall job. While also protecting cargo that would come through. Geitz showed a knack for plumbing and liked the idea of the sewer system Hector was trying to implement in the territories.
Karel and Karla took the role of being some of the Royal Guard for Hector that wouldn't be to far away from wherever he travelled. Lowen was also added to that group, but he was viewed as the Royal cook and a hostage of sorts from Pherae. They still didn;t offer anything of real value that would have the man released.
Isadora had returned to them twice with negotiations and peace offerings. She spent quite some time in the temple of Tiamat and even spoke with the Goddess on a few occasions. To help their matters more Hector had given her information on the lord of Pherae and what happened to his knights that could be confirmed by spies.
Guy the Sacaen swordsman was enjoying his job as a policeman in Bulagar. His time spent in the Primordial Sea and Time Chamber did well for his studying and peace of mind. Especially resolving the issues he had for not being an adept archer like those of his clan. His swordsmanship continues to grow, with him joining in training every two weeks with Hector and others.
The female Bramimond, Niime, Canas, Idunn, and Melitha were in attendance of Hector whenever he was not training. The most who spent time with him were dealing with political matters and plans. They knew the most in regards to the construction and economic development for the nation, which were also part of the army.
Lundgren was the most devoted to the building of the land forces. A lot of favor toward Caelin to be rebuilt due to guilt from what he caused, Hector assumed so anyway. His skills and veteran status one of the hard of the more traditionalists in the group, but his apparent youth kept him in favor for new comers.
As the vassal who mostly went to Caelin he did get a secret satisfaction from seeing his old brother dotingly with his family and shocked by his own appearance. There was just something twisted about his brother calling him nephew.
The politicians that were under Hector had spent the most time in the Time Chamber and his Internal Space learning. Richard and Tiamat were very thorough in teaching them and helping them develop to a point where they would be ready to act in Elibe. It was not just a year or two but over ten years for most of them. The other nations would be surprised when dealing with such well-taught politicians in closed-door sessions.
Even more so when they found out they were from Commoner Stock.
During a small incident, Hector came across Ursula and a few members of the Black Fang. Fighting against the Valkyrie and Jaffar the Assassin was troublesome. If not for his overall robust nature, he would not have come out alive against the trained killer.
Which caused his actions of recruiting both of them, and the girl Nino joining was hard to swallow. As Karla and Karel were unbelievably upset about this as this was the one time they did not go with Hector. It was the first time Hector used his knowledge of the past at such a level to gain someone to his side. Ursula was to gifted in magic and loyal to pass up. As for Jaffar, he just earned the Champion's pity along with Nino.
Niime and her family were joyous of the information that Hector placed in front of them. Nino was happy to finally meet family, but devastated to know the information regarding her parentage. Sonia was her mother, but not her mother. Hector refused to go into further details as she was to weak to understand the information.
Jaffar had a lot of people after him so the suggestion to change him up was pushed heavily. However, it just didn't go over well as Nino liked his current face.
It was by far the dumbest reason to not change your identity he ever heard of.
