Man. Among all the races in Regressia, they are considered the most progressive yet the weakest among all. Unlike the Elves, Sirens, Dwarves, and Faes, they don't possess supernatural strength or magical prowess. They were neither special nor talented. At times, there will be someone born of extraordinary skills or intellectual abilities and will be deemed a genius, yet compared to the talented from the other races, their talent may be akin to that of a child who learned how to walk for the first time.
Man were neither believers nor faithful to the Great One. In fact, the other races are far more devoted. Their beliefs are divided. Some acknowledge the Great One's existence but neither revere nor respect him; some grumble against him due to their life circumstances. Others don't care at all and define him according to their own opinions and thoughts.
This is why it was a huge shock when after the Bellum Damnatorum (war of the lost), the Great Elven Priestess, Aria van Lowenheim, prophesied that the Promised One would come from the lineage of Man.
