Julian saw Scarlett Xavier's mother in the hospital that afternoon.
A friend's husband was ill, so their sisters came over to visit.
Upon seeing Julian, Scarlett's mother greeted him proactively, "Julian."
Julian was with his assistant and a few students, and seeing Scarlett's mother, he stopped on his own accord, "Auntie."
Scarlett's mother came over, looked at him and said, "Why call me Auntie? You should call me Mom now."
Julian was actually still not used to this form of address, just like Scarlett, who wasn't quite accustomed to the fact that they were already married.
They had a bit of a disagreement this morning, but... thinking of last night, the kindness of her making him a bowl of noodles, he still remembered.
He changed his tone, "Mom. Why are you at the hospital? Is there something wrong?"
Usually, coming to a hospital isn't for anything good.
