Scarlett Xavier went straight to the balcony, standing there with the sunlight hitting her and the wind blowing through the ends of her hair.
She found it amusing, simply blocking Yasmine Morgan, and it was worth her mother calling her personally.
Scarlett said, "Yeah! What's the matter?"
"She just said a couple of things to you, and you blocked her, isn't that too much?" her mother said. "You just married into the Griffin Family, and now you don't recognize anyone, right?"
"Mom," Scarlett scoffed, "even though you're my mother, I have to remind you, marrying into the Griffin Family was entirely to help you guys. If you don't appreciate it, I can get a divorce immediately. By then, whatever happens to the Monroe Family, don't blame me."
"You..." her mother was exasperated, hearing Scarlett's arrogance.
Scarlett couldn't care less. She already felt wronged marrying over, yet had to be criticized left and right, does that make any sense?
Scarlett said, "I'm busy, hanging up."
