From Zero to Hero III

As the sun had risen, Xarius had been strapped to the side of a tree in the middle of the village. Every villager had crowded around him as they knew that judgment was about to begin. Some of the crowd roared as they had already heard the news on what happened, Xarius was frightened, sure he had been to judgments but he'd never witnessed the victim's point of view. Almost every villager looked angry, he even saw his dad in the crowd staring at him with narrow eyes.

"We shall now begin Judgement!" The Headmaster said as he had walked out of the tent from behind him. After the appearance of the Headmaster, the crowd began screaming. "Silence, Silence!" He yelled. The crowd calmed. "Xarius Oriestes, 9 years old, no magic, has been accused of killing his mother..." The headmaster yelled. Everyone stayed silent, glaring into his eyes as he stared back at all of them terrified. "From what we've been told, Xarlena Oriestes dropped dead to the floor after eye contact with Xarius!" He continued. "The death is unidentified and will continue to be investigated, Xarius Ori-"

"He's no longer an Oriestes!" Oteus shouted from the crowd. The headmaster paused, everyone looked at Oteus in shock. Hearing this also shocked Xarius as tears poured down his cheeks.

"Xarius will NOT be testified for murder as no evidence was proven that he had committed the action!" The headmaster yelled. "Any objections?" he asked. Oteus had held out his hand and shot a ball of mana at Xarius. A guard from behind the tree had jumped out and deflected it with a large dagger, the guard then threw the dagger at Oteus, striking his neck. Xarius didn't say anything, the tears on his cheeks now dried up. The crowd murmured amongst each other.

"We don't have a decision headmaster!" one of the villagers shouted.

"Yeah! You can decide" Another continued.

"Then we shall enlist him in the warrior unit and he shall help defend a part of this Village and others! It shall be cruel enough there to atone for his sins and those who disagree will know that there is a great chance he will die in battle to satisfy you..." The headmaster explained. The crowd stayed silent, as no one objectified to his decision.

"We will now end this Judgement! Thank you for you're cooperation!" he yelled again. The crowd of villagers began to walk away, while the guards untied Xarius from a tree and dragged him along a path until they stopped at a stream. "We will put you here and this shall lead to the Stormkeeper Headquarters and you will take orders from them from now on" He explained. "And remember, Everything you do today forms the seeds for what you harvest tomorrow, always do your best because what you plant now, you will harvest later... Stay alive boy" The headmaster stated. And with that, he ordered the guards to push the boat and there he sailed down the stream, leaving the village and all his childhood. At this point his lore has vanished until the next time we hear of him again...
