while Steve and Vera were approaching the beast Sam told them to try putting there elements into their weapons which the did and there weapons became bigger arm sharper. Vera shouted this is cool it's even lighter with that they rushed at the beast they were able to give it small injuries the fight was fast and deadly a small mistake on the part of both the humans and the beast could become fatal. The beast itself became enraged throwing itself at every slight chance to counter attack Steve and Vera were pushed beyond they had been before and they were growing in leaps and band. try to learn all steps to your level one technique Steve's spear was swift and deadly the python tried putting him to his front but he always manages to always be behind the beast.
when Vera tried learning the fourth stage she noticed it was very reliant on the use of ice as an element it caused temperature to fall and snow to appear although in a small area it could momentary confuse opponents. she was in deep thought does it mean Sam already knew I will be using the ice element before he wrote the sword technique. The beast on feeling the fight was getting dangerous for it, if it is not killed then it will eventually get drained of energy. it's next move was to use its element, on seeing this Sam shouted Vera always protect yourself with ice. Steve use your wind to propel yourself so you can be faster, do not let that flame touch you. few seconds later the first flame hit Vera it had little to no impact. Steve utilised the opportunity to pierce the beast with his spear. The beast roared for the first time trying to turn towards Steve. Steve maintain your position to its rear use your wind, steve did all he could to stay at the rear of the beast, it used it tail to hit Steve in other to force him to the front but thanks to Steve physical body improvement he was able to parry the tail with some difficulty and still maintain his position.
Vera used that opportunity of the python beast concentrating all attack on Steve to also inflict injuries on the beast. another roar was heard but this time instead of getting angry it retreated Sam smiled are you trying to escape Sam blocked it's path shooting as many arrows as possible into the python. The beast was forced to slow down which helped Vera and Steve to catch up to it. The fighting resumed, it was clear to the beast it could not escape so it resolved to take down one of it enemies with it. it completely neglected defence and went out for an all out attack Steve was the first person to be sent flying by the tail he tried stabilizing himself with wind but the force was still much that he slammed into a tree trunk the force was much the tree fell.
Vera her self tried taking advantage of the beasts attack on Steve to inflict injuries on the beast but the beast who has given up on defence threw it's head at her she was also sent flying he beast was injured and bleeding but having learnt from previous occasions it was weary to attack or else Sam would attack it . Sam asked them to take drink the egg which they did. Vera you are here for a life and death fight not a spar you should have gone for the kill but you had the mind set of injuring the beast do you think the beast will have such compassion had you been in its place. same goes to you Steve move your lazy butt. you would not easily get that chance again but when you do, try utilizing it. Vera understood her mistake but the python also knew it made a mistake after taking the egg Vera and Steve charged once more at the beast Vera was quick at learning how to use her ice she froze the ground and formed skating boots. skating on the iced floor made has very fast for the snake while Steve learnt to use his wind for long range attacks making him more dangerous.
Steve sent out wind spears that acted like drills by the force he used in twisting his spear before he sent it out but the beast having learnt from his precious experience always avoided them keeping a eyes on both of its enemies. Steve's arms where becoming tired he had parried a lot of the beasts attacks both Steve's and Vera's bodies were getting stronger but the beasts attacks still had a lot of force behind it. After a while Steve called to Vera try freezing the ground under the python reduce the friction between it's body and the ground so as to disturb it's movement. Vera quickly did as Steve told her the snake wanting to hit Steve with its tail at thesame time lost balance and spurn around eventually having it's head facing Steve. Steve wasted no time nailing it's massive head to the ground with his spear while Vera also slashed the python from the middle with as much force as she could. After the fatal blow both of the lay on the ground exhausted.
Sam walked to the two and said get up you need to get the important parts of this beast and we also need to take back the meat to our families. Steve and Vera have never killed any beast so the were not used to dealing with a carcass. Sam has to take them through the process while they did it them self. The hear and beast core where brought out, the skin was also kept separate and then the meat was shared between the three some were roasted and eaten while they rested Sam then asked Ken. Ken the phoniex fire fruit tree can't I uproot it and take it home? Ken laughed you father already did that I can feel it at the garden near your room. seems dad always thinks of the family. so what do we do next Steve asked. we will hunt for flying beast which we have to tame. it will serve as a traning mate for both of you and also as a transport beast when you tame it.
Sam then started teaching Steve and Vera how to go about the taming. you have to defeat the beast and keep attacking it until it submits then you form a blood contract with it. it sounds easy but it's not because you do not want to kill the beast while the beast wants to kill you. Steve thought for a while why would the beast not just fly away and leave Sam. we can not fly yet as our cultivation is still not up to the level to fly.
