Eun Ae tried to keep herself calm but failed every time. Just thinking about Jae Hyuk wanting to chat with her privately made her brain frantic. She was sweating profusely and was pacing around the room nervously, thinking about the contain of the message. There were so many what if's bombering in her brain like a flood and she was starting to have a headache because of it.
She was also busy thinking about how to reply to her idol. She doesn't want him to have an impression of her as a fool or stiff girl. It's not an unknown fact that she is a socially awkward girl. Hence she was sure that she won't be able to reply him appropriately.
After pacing around for an hour and biting her nails nervously, she finally groaned and sat in the darkest corner of the room. Finally she decided to read the comments of other fans on her post. She scrolled and scrolled. Most of the comment said
"Wow!! She is so lucky to get a reply from our God!!"
"Ahh!! Our Hyuk-ah wants to learn from her! I am so jealous😣"
"Am I the only one who liked the message given by her on the post?"
The majority comments were something very commonly used by fans like
"My husband Jae Hyuk!!"
"please marry me! I love you so much"
"Saranghae (I love you) Hyuk-ah!"
Eventually Eun Ae got bored and started thinking about the private message again. She eventually looked at Soo Aha who was still sleeping peacefully and felt resentful when she thought about how she is unable to even blink her eyes. She finally decided to wake her friend up so that Soo Aha too could enjoy her misery with her.
She got up from the corner and went to Soo Aha like a gloomy ghost. Shaking Soo Aha slightly she called her name in low voice as if she has no energy remaining in her body. After repeating the same for a while Soo Aha finally woke up dizzily and grunted a "what's up?" before shooting Eun Ae a glance. Eun Ae didn't expect her friend to scream so loudly after looking at her and covered her ears, Eun Ae hated noisy environment since childhood.
Soo Aha's face looked pale as if she had seen a ghost and became fully sober after rubbing her eyes for a while.
"Why were you shouting so loudly?" Eun Ae asked irritated while soothing her ringing ears.
"Eun Ae is that you?" Soo Aha asked in disbelief.
"Ofcourse it's me" Eun Ae looked at her as if she was looking at an idiot.
Soo Aha was a little embarrassed under her friend's gaze and couldn't help but complain " Look at yourself in the mirror and you will know. Why do you look so horrible right now?" She inquired while pouting like a child.
Eun Ae was speechless as she never thought that her distressed look would scare Soo Aha. After a moment Eun Ae went to Soo Aha and directly showed her the notification which she had stared for so long. Soo Aha who was stretching like a cat glanced at the screen casually and was about to yawn when she stopped midway, gulping the air, she stared at the screen in disbelief.
"This....this..thi-how could it be?" Soo Aha shuttered and grabbed the phone from Eun Ae like it was a treasure. She looked from the close up and far away and repeat the process many times as if it would prove the authenticity of the message. When she finally accepted the fact that it was a message from Jae Hyuk she gasped loudly and squealed in shock. Eun Ae was just standing by her side with an amused expression after seeing her reaction. She was slightly confused as she thought that Soo Aha would become stressful after seeing the notification like her.
"Eun Ae my dear friend, why haven't you read the message yet? Look at the time. It had been 3 hours since this message was sent!" Soo Aha said in disbelief, excitement lacing her voice.
Eun Ae like a mechanical robot answered her, explaining her in full detail the things she had done in those three hours. After hearing her Soo Aha signed in her heart and felt pity for Eun Ae. Soo Aha was not so surprised or horrified like Eun Ae after seeing the notification because she knew how to deal with the events and peoples on social media and it was rare but not impossible for the idols to message their fans. Eun Ae who had been isolated from social media for so long became flustered due to this unusual situation and became numb. Eun Ae wasn't even capable of replying on this small situation which made Soo Aha to be worried for her.
" Its okay you don't need to open this message right now. How about this? Let's go to cafeteria to have dinner and after coming back we both will read the message together and then think about how to reply it okay?" said Soo Aha to her numb friend. She thought maybe the stroll outside will ease up Eun Ae's nerves before reading the message and hence both of them left their department dorm building.
Soo Aha chatted with her cheerfully to change her mood for better and as they were about to enter cafeteria, they heard a high pitched voice with a monking tone from behind them say
"Ahhh..look at this. So it's my beloved little sister and here I was thinking 'who is this puny girl with the new campus belle sharing the beauty' s limelight shamelessly' "
Eun Ae wore a grim expression while Soo Aha was enraged by her words. They both had a same thought. Eun Ae knew this voice too well.
She was indeed none other than Eun Jung with her little group of minions, all wearing a smug smile on their powdered faces.
