"Oh, Alfredo!" A loud voice, full of dramatic flair, sliced through the quiet shop as we enter. The tall, unusual lady swept into the room. Her voice had a distinct, heavy 'R' accent, rolling the sound out like a drum. "What great thing brings you here to our little shop?"
She moved quickly, filling the space with her presence. Before Alfredo could say much, she had grabbed his face and planted a loud, juicy kiss on both of his cheeks.
Alfredo chuckled, gently patted her arm, completely used to her antics. "It's good to see you, Everleigh. I've brought Naomi's grandchildren. They need to be fitted for formal wear—gowns and suits, you know how it goes."
