He then said to me "u can sleep it would be a long journey"
"Ray I slept alot so its fine with me" and gave him a little smile while pressing my lips together.
"Music?"
"Yup ray"
I then attached my phone with the car's speaker and started playing the songs. We didn't speak much because we both were absorbed into the music completely and yes whenever we spoke little we shared our interests on different kinds of music genres and artists. An hour passed like that only. He then asked me "you play sometimes guitar and sing right? U told me on the day when u were showing me the college campus while sharing our interests remember?"
"Oh yeah I remember I sometimes play guitar and sing, actually my father taught me playing guitar at a very young age and vocals also. He loved music more than anything, he even used to be in a band. And I enjoyed learning music from him and thanks to him I learnt so much. My father used to tell me if u love something it will heal you and I loved music so it used to heal me as well and till date do that.
Though I miss his lessons" I didn't even noticed that I was smiling while talking about my father. Father I miss you.
Ray said to me "Your father was a great musician he will be singing for u through heaven"
"How do u know he was a great musician?"
"The way u described him anybody would say he was a great musician".
I gave a assured glance. We kept on listening to music and when did I fell asleep I didn't even noticed.
I opened eyes and stretched a little and looked at him he was still driving. He said to me "you awake?"
"I am sorry I accidentally fell asleep"
"U r tired its natural okay?"
"Btw I think u should take rest"
"We are almost there almost 30 to 40 mins remains"
"WAIT I SLEPT FOR THAT LONG!?!?"
"Yeah u were like sleeping beauty"
"More like a hibernation bear lol.... Never in my life I slept for so many hours first I slept so much when I got unconscious and now in car"
And he laughed
"Btw uk alex is gonna stay with our gang?"
"Yeah I heard that but anyways we couldn't have lived at our house they can come there anytime"
"Yeah"
Time passed and we finally reached our destination. I helped ray to take out the luggage though he denied me to do that but I can't help it without doing it. And then I saw a place fully vacant and a beach nearby. I asked him "where is your vacation house?"
"Its infront of u only"
"Did I became blind?"
"No no see now" and he then took out a key from his jeans pocket and in the mid of air he placed it. I was so confused what he was doing. Then the whole house appeared infront of me and where he put the key was the key hole of the main door. And i asked him "wow! How did u do it?"
"Actually my parents used to have some witch and wizards friends so they gifted us this place. We all used to come here often and it could be only seen by our family and the ones we approve to see it. Now u can see it but others can't"
"Thats some really good magic"
And we both went into the house. The house had to 2 floors. We went upstairs and he showed me the room I would stay and he said he would be in the room next to the room I am staying. I told him to get freshen up and to sleep for now because its was almost 3 am and he would be really tired by now.
I changed my clothes into comfy pajamas but I wasn't feeling like sleeping as I slept for so many hours. I checked my Phone and saw jason online. I texted him

Christina: hey u r awake? Aren't u feeling sleepy? Its pretty late.
Jason: actually I wasn't feeling like sleeping. But why r u awake?
Christina: same. But did u again messed up your sleep cycles? Is something bothering u?
Jason:u remember once our alpha called us?
Christina: yeah
Jason: he said to me there were some sort of attacks on our wolf pack. Mainly vampires. Idk why out of nowhere vampires r attacking us. I got a call few hours ago they again attacked today. I told our gang about that also.
Christina: Vampires? The situation is getting worse. Pls stay safe. I'll come to u guys soon. Only a few days, I'll make myself stronger.
Jason: don't over work yourself pls
Christina: Yeah I won't and You should sleep now, u need rest too. Don't think about these stuff everything will be alright I promise. Try to massage your head a little bit it will feel better.
Jason: But I need your hands for that 😂
Christina: my hands r not available for now so do it with your own hands 😂
Jason: okay okay 😞😞

After talking to jason I put my phone away. And went towards the window and saw the beautiful scenery. A few miles away from me was the beach. The waves touching the sand and the soothing ocean sound hitting my eardrum. And suddenly I started hearing sounds. Is someone panting or grunting? I went outside the room. Its coming from ray's room. I knocked the door and called his name several times but no answer. I said "ray I am entering" and opened the door. He was laying in the bed in a crouching position and was continuously grunting. I rushed to him and started shaking him and called his name again and again so he would wake up "RAY RAY WAKE UP RAY! U NEED TO WAKE UP". I held his face and kept on calling his name, finally he woke up. His eyes opened, his face all sweaty. He positioned himself in a sitting position. I gave him some water to drink thankfully it was by his bed and patted his back and finally asked him "r u fine now?"
"Yeah"
"Nightmare I see?"
"Yeah I saw that I can't move my body an inch as if I am paralyzed and someone choking me. I wasn't able to see that person's face"
I patted his back and said "it will be okay... Calm down I am there with u"
"It was traumatizing as if I was about to die"
"Shhh" and hugged him while patting. And whispered in his ear "it will be okay" he hugged me back and I started singing a song to comfort him to calm him down properly. As I kept on singing a song like a lullaby I felt his arms getting loosen, he is falling asleep. I am having a feeling like I always do this for him but in reality I am doing this for him for the 1st time. He fell asleep in my arms. I carefully and slowly placed his head on the pillow so he won't wake up. I covered his body with a blanket and stared at his face for a while. I hope his nightmares stop. Ray I don't know what's happening with me but I don't know why your relationship with me is such a confusing thing to me? When will my questions get answered? And I quietly left the room. I made my bed and lied on my back while thinking did I met him before? I stared at the ring on my hand, what does this ring even means? Ray what's going on? And then I fell asleep.
Next day
I woke up at 11 am, brushed my teeth and washed my face. I was about to go for shower. I removed the band aids from my face, legs and hands, now the stomach one. God damit the stomach bandaging is so complicated how the hell I'll open it if I mess it up it will give me more pain and at that moment only someone knocked my door. Ray was standing near the door and said "I told u that u will need my help.... Always ask it". He then came to me and entangle the bandages which were tied around my whole waist area. While he was doing it his eyes showed how much sincere he was as he was untangling with precaution and was very careful. After doing so he said "take a shower and I'll dress your wounds".
I went to the shower. While showering I was thinking about the moment when he was helping with the bandages, my heart is beating so fast. Why he is all over my mind?And shoved my thoughts out of my mind. After showering I dressed up I wore a sleevless shirt and a pant which was upto my knee and came out. Ray was sitting on the bed with the first aid kit. He turned to me and said "come I'll help u". He applied medicines and then applied the bandages and all the time I was busy staring him. He asked me with a smirk "am I that handsome that u r staring me all the time?"
At that moment only I looked away "nooo I never said something like that"
While applying the bandages he said "then u r saying I am not handsome" and looked in my eyes while putting the band aid on my face where there was a cut, my heart skipped a beat "I.... i never said like that too"
"So I am handsome"
"Umm u can think whatever u want". I was feeling embarassed so much. And he gave a smile.
"Lets grab some food"
"Is there any restaurant nearby? I don't want u to cook and overwork yourself again. The journey was already tiring"
"Yeah there is one, lets go there then"
He and me went to a nearby restaurant. We ate their and came back home. I said to him "ray I am thinking I'll study magic in this free time as I need to enhance my powers. Even jason told me vampires r attacking their pack"
"Vampires? Here? Doesn't make sense. Only me and alex r the only vampires here"
"Ik but when they r saying Vampires r attacking they can't be wrong"
"Hmm u r right but how will u study magic u didn't brought your books?"
"Oh about that my spell books contain magic in them if the sender and the receiver of the book agrees with teleportation it will easily teleport itself. I'll tell alina to do that for me"
"But pls only study don't use your magic powers too much it will drain u alot, u r still recovering"
"I'll be careful. What about u? What's your plan?"
"Right now I will give a notice to the college for u and me that we won't be able to join college for few days as the college reopened today and then I'll do some business work"
"Business work?"
"Alex has his own business and I sometimes help him in his business"
"Won't he be suspicious that u came on break and doing this?"
"I'll do it now but I am not sending him now I'll send him later"
Then we went to our rooms. I texted alina and she sent few of my books and I started studying them more and more in depth.
Few hours passed like that. I got to know alot of things in magic but how to reveal that diary is still unknown. I read about dark magic also which is mainly forbidden to us, nobody can control dark magic as long as u have done mastery in dark magic but again dark magic is dangerous and costs alot of things. Dark magic is against the nature's laws so u have to pay for having done things against nature's law. I streched a little bit to relax my muscles. Then I went downstairs and saw ray sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap and totally immersed in his work. He then said "hi Christie" without even looking he already noticed I am there wow! I asked him "how did uk? U didn't even looked in my direction"
"U forgot I am a vampire my senses r really strong specially my smelling and hearing"
"Ahhh yeah"
Then I came to him and sat beside him on the couch and asked him "still working?"
"No almost done" and within a few minutes he closed his laptop and looked at me with a sweet smile and asked me "so how your study went?"
"Gotto know alot of stuff but nothing related to reveal the diary"
"Don't worry u will reveal take your time"
"Yeah..... Btw there is a beach here so can we go there?"
"But right now u r still weak.... How about tomorrow? We have a few days so..."
"Perfect"
"And yeah thank u for yesterday... it really calmed me down"
"Thats okay.... So your nightmares r often or rare nowadays?"
"Often.... But why these nightmares keep on Coming god knows"
"Same". We both sighed
Ray said "wanna have some drinks?"
"U have it here?"
"Yeah I bought it on our way back from restaurant"
"Yes I'll have them"
He then brought 2 glasses and some of the drinks. We drank them after few shots we started feeling little tipsy. We both were busy fooling around and doing all sorts of funny crazy dances and laughing all the time. We were busy making fun of each other. After few more shots we both became fully drunk. We both sat on the crouch together. He was smiling. He is so handsome. I am feeling so attracted to him, his features r so beautiful. Holy shit this alcohol is driving me crazy, what the hell am I thinking. Ray said to me "uk christina I feel some sort of really special bond between us which binds us together"
I held his face in my hands and said "do I have seen u before? Why I feel like I have known for u so many years? Who are you?"
"I am ray. Who can I be". I left his face. I was about to stand but lost balance and fell on his chest, I was so drunk I don't even have strength to move, I laid my head on his lap. He looked at me and cupped my face with one of his hands and he came near my face. We can even feel each other's breath. His dark blue eye gaze was feeling like he is looking through my soul. He shoved my hair away from my face with his other hand.....
