The students have free time till afternoon and it's still early for a nap or lunch. The boys asked Luke to play basketball. They have an open court at the west side of the village and agreed to meet there after several minutes.
It's already saturday and some students from the Academy came home.
Sam, Mark, Kevin and Clint with Mr. Medina plus the two human students are the players for the Academy team
Luke, Drew, Ashton, Wallace and Rodee. The Alpha his Beta and three warriors are in the Villagers team.
Academy versus the Villagers.
A lot of people shows up to see the game. Selena was surprised. She didn't noticed them before they came. The Villager wasn't around much as if they were hiding or avoiding them for some reason but today all of them seem to be present for this simple game. They are all cheering for Luke's team.
"Go Mark... Go Academy team!". Selena shouted. She can hear a lot of people already cheering for Luke's team so she choose to cheer for the Academy team. She belongs there anyway. And besides she feels like she's close to Mark the most from the Academy team so she cheered for him.
A lot of murmur echoed in the air. Selena can't understand what they were saying so she just ignored them. She was looking at Mark but he seems to be avoiding her. 'What's wrong with this guy, is he sick?'. She can't understand his behavior he didn't even look at her.
Luke suddenly popped up in front of her with a knitted eyebrows. "Don't you dare cheer to anyone else except me!". He said angrily.
Selena was taken aback and just nod at him. 'Now what's wrong with this person?'. She asked herself with confusion.
"Hold this for me". A bottle of water was given to her and he walked away.
The game started with a honk just like a real basketball game. There are at least three referees. A point marker and a sports emcee.
Selena was stunned when all the players took their shirts off except Mr. Medina. All the girls who were watching shout and whistle. 'This is so interesting!'. The naughty Selena inside her commented. 'Yeah!'. She answered with a wide smile almost tearing her face apart. 'Let's enjoy this moment!'.
An hour of the game moved so fast. The players are in fire and so does all the watchers. All the girls are screaming and it almost rip everyones ears. The game is tight and their scores is only one point apart.
Selena was assessing all the players and she noticed her classmates and schoolmates really do have a lot of energy to spare because they are still young. They are agile and very attentive to all the player's move. And the ball that they pass are all received by their team mates in an instant as if everyone knows what the other person is thinking. Everytime a steal is done the earth seems to moved. And the echoes of screms filled the entire field.
Selena saw how Luke tried so hard to catch up to the Academy's team points. They were behind by only one point but Luke seems to take it so seriously. His body is sweating and she can see his hard calf muscles seems to be twitching. 'This is serious'. She thought.
The referee calls for a time out and Selena saw how Luke jog his way to her location.
"Aren't you going to huddle up or something?". She's not a fan of any sports but she knows that there is this meeting like or strategy talk when a time out is called.
"No need for that. We can talk while we play". Luke was so amused with her. He took the bottle of water that she's still holding and took a big gulp. Some water drips down to his chest and down to his abs.
Selena gulped down her own saliva then lick her lips. 'Damn.... My male god is delicious'. She was in daze that she didn't noticed Luke is grinning while looking at her. An open bottle of water was handed to her. She heard the word drink and she drank. But her eyes are still glued to Luke's eight pack abs.
"Did I satify your thirst?". He said while leaning on her side.
"What?". Selena snap back to reality and she saw him pointing at his bottle.
"Oh... I'm so sorry I drank it all. I will fill it later". She was so embarrassed. She can feel her cheeks are burning. Then she stared at the bottle and grin. 'It's like an indirect kiss'. She giggles.
She looked back at Luke and saw him sweating a lot. Without a thought she grab a towel and wiped his face and body. Then she stopped.
"What's wrong?". Luke asked.
Selena just shook her head.
"Please don't stop". He turned his back and asked her to wipe his sweat there. And she did.
Time out is over. The game begins again. Luke ran inside the court after smelling his Mate's hair. Selena was stunned with Luke's gesture but smiled after. She's still holding the towel she used to Luke's body. She looked around and noticed everyone were too engaged to the game. She simply smell the towel and grin. 'God.... I'm a crazy pervert'. She said to herself while giggling. 'Yes you are'. Naughty Selena answered.
Luke noticed Selena's action from afar and he can't help himself chuckle. The urge to kiss her makes his wolf go wild inside him. 'Lucas calm down let's win this first then win her heart later'. He was talking to his wolf inside.
The game took a huge turn. The Villagers are leading and Luke holds most of the points. He is unstoppable. Every drop of the ball means point for the Villagers. But the Academy team won't surrender easy. They are sons of great warriors and they won't accept defeat easily even if the opponent is their Alpha. This game will prove their power. No Shadow Claw members are born weak specially warriors.
Mark made a steal and pass the ball to Sam. A three point was made. The Villagers are ahead of eight points now down to five. Academy team are leaded by Mark. They are causing so much commotion. The girls screams are echoing in the courtyard and they are calling for Marks name. It gave him enough courage to do his best. Luke is grinning. 'He really is a son of a great warrior'.
Selena can hear all the girls screaming Marks name. 'He is quite popular here, is he?'. She thought to herself. Her eyes landed on Luke. Her male god. The naughty side of her have this naughty idea of course. The place is so loud whatever she will say will only be cast in the wind.
"Luke.... Win this for me and I will French kiss you!". She shouted from the top of her lungs.
The entire place falls into silence. And all eyes ends up to her. The humans in the crowd though wondered what happened was also looking at her.
Selena was startled. The crowd shut up in an instant and all eyes are on her. 'Did they heard me?'..... That is so impossible! '. Her gaze ends up in Luke's location. And she can swear she saw him smiling from ear to ear.
The ball is in Luke's hand. He suppose to do a three pointer shot when he heard Selena shouting a bet to him. The most tempting bet to his ears. All the Shadow Claw Pack heard her and they all shut their mouths but mind links everywhere. Luke took a shot and the huge noise came back.
73 - 69. The Villagers win.
The Academy team lost but all of their families and friends were so proud of them. They really are the sons of Shadow Claw's great warriors. Their Alpha are also very proud of them.
Selena run towards the Academy team with a wide smile on her face. "You are so good guys. I can't believed you can actually play like pros!". She over exaggerating.
"Mark is really good in strategy". Sam proudly told her.
"Hey we're also did good!". Kevin wants to get a recognition too.
"Of course you are.... Everyone in this team is so cool". She said in her exaggerating tone. A cough caught her attention.
"How about me?". Luke is standing at her back. He is glaring at the young lads in front of Selena.
"You're so cool too". She simply said. 'And delicious'. Her mind added.
"Just cool?". Luke seems to be disappointed with her praise.
Selena didn't say anything. She don't want to humiliate herself again in front of him.
Luke walked slowly. His lips ended beside her ear. "I heard what you said in the middle of the game". He said softly to her ear.
Selena's eyes grew wide. "How the fuck!". She bit her lips. She's cursing again in front of him.
Luke didn't mind it. He is getting used to her cursing when she get startled.
"I will wait for my prize later". He slyly grin then left.
