Lily was breathing hard and getting fed up… but her mana was full and she had an idea. Originally, she didn't want to simply rush at Petunia because not only might that damage the books around her, the bigger issue was shielding with her shadows and having Petunia simply… move slightly to the left. Then Lily would have spent a bunch of mana on shielding for essentially nothing. So step one was get to the nearest wall.
It took a few ducks and dives, with her lungs burning all the way but she was fast and the library, while big, wasn't endless. With the wall in sight, Lily angled herself as if she was going to sprint perpendicular to it for a good amount of time. Petunia fired a handful of elemental effects around her… and Lily dodged.
