--- Appoline ---
Appoline had found that perhaps, she had miscalculated. Though, saying that was wrong. Her idea was sound, she judged her skills accurately. She knew what she could do. The problem of course was that she did not know what her opponent could do, not truly. Gabby was a mystery wearing her face, and Appoline had simply thought her an imposter instead of a credible alchemist in her own right.
What Appoline lacked, in this case, was knowledge of all the ingredients. She had not properly considered the chance that they might burn through all of the ones on the shelves… nor that something, or someone would continually refill them with a wider variety of unique and rare ingredients.
