A good way to escape magical restraints was simply to transform. It worked, though Lily wished she had the time to investigate why. Surely if this was enchanted to catch her… it would keep her. Transformation or not. Apparently however, Petunia hadn't bothered to make the restraints properly so Memphis Lily was perfectly capable of escaping.
Something she needed to do, to dodge the giant shadow claw coming in from the right side. Lily quickly hopped into the air to avoid the strike but that's when a bunch of paper machetes surrounded her, chopping down in a circle. Lily struck back with her own shadows to cut a path out, but the paper was surprisingly durable. Folded over a bunch of times to look like a blade, that same folding had apparently upped the durability significantly. *Dammit why don't I have that spell?*
