My name is Alex Jones and I am a 35-year-old university chemistry professor. Currently though I am in a pure white room sitting at a table with tea in front of me. There is beautiful woman in front of me and I can't take my eyes off her lovely figure.
I could tell that something was wrong by the expression that she was giving me, but I am not one to worry about things so let's listen to what she has to say.
"I'm sorry but you've died." (Woman)
"Wait. What's going on? How did I die?" (Alex)
The woman in front of me explains that she is the goddess that governs many worlds including Earth. Her beauty makes complete sense now that I know she is a goddess.
The goddess Elena explains to me that I died in a fire while saving my neighbor. Now that I think about it, I vaguely remember burning alive. Let's lock that memory away please.
"So, what happens to me now? Also please just call me Alex." (Alex)
Feeling depressed at the sudden realization of my death and remembering the pain I asked the only question I could think of dreading the answer.
"Please just call me Elena then. Due to your brave act which resulted in your death I will give you a choice. You may entire the cycle of reincarnation of your old world or I can transport you into a different world that I manage. I will grant you a new body and allow you to customize it a bit." (Elena)
"Why would you go that far for me?" (Alex)
Goddess Elena explained to me that the other world that she governs is a swords and magic type world that you would find in a fantasy novel. She explains that I won't be going there for free but instead she will give me a task to do once I am in that world.
"What kind of task would a goddess require?" (Alex)
"As the goddess of this world I can't directly involve myself so I would be asking you to do a certain thing once you get to that world. What I want you to do is simple. I want you to spread your culture to this world." (Elena)
"Oh. I thought it was going to be something crazy like slay the Demon King." (Alex)
After I said that Elena decided to describe the world and its many races. Turns out there is no Demon King. It is just the title used to address the ruler of the demon race. There are also elves, dwarves, human, and beastkin. There are other races as well, but they are much smaller and spread out than the ones we discussed.
"Now that I have described the world and the task that I will give what will be your decision?" (Elena)
"I would like to go to the other world that you manage. By the way what is the name of that world?" (Alex)
"It is called Exelar and I will be dropping you off at the country that I believe would be the safest for you to start off in." (Elena)
After I agreed to Elena's request, we then began customizing my body. I chose to let Elena handle the details of my appearance and began choosing skills that Elena said that I could have.
I ended up choosing the swordsmanship skill since I have always wanted to fight with one just like the characters in novels. When I was deciding which magic to get, I consulted Elena because I felt like I could trust her judgement. That may not have been the best decision.
She threw common sense out the window and gave me every basic attribute magic. By leveling up the skill levels for these basic attributes magic I can unlock the more advanced attribute magic she said. It seemed a bit excessive, but I thought that it couldn't hurt if my survival in this world was ever on the line.
"Now I wish you a good life Alex. Make sure you come by the church. If you go regularly then it might be possible for us to communicate again." (Elena)
"Thank you, Elena. I will make sure to honor the promise that I have made with you." (Alex)
"No need to be so stiff. Just work like you normally would and if its you it will turn out just fine." (Elena)
Once Elena finished speaking, I disappeared into particles of light so bright that I had to close my eyes. When I opened them again, I was in a dense forest with a river running right beside me. From the knowledge that Elena gave me I am currently in the Forest of Silence. It is not named this because of it being quiet instead it is named as such due to what lies in the silence.
The forest has many different animals and monsters residing inside, but they are not the most dangerous part of this forest. There is a true monster that lurks in the forest and when it appears all other living beings hold their breath to not attract its attention. Luckily for me, Elena told me where this monster's territory is and how to avoid it. The forest is on the border of the Aureum Kingdom where Elena said I should head.
"Well now that I'm here better check my status. Status Open." (Alex)

I am now 16 years old! I don't know how much more I can handle. I just went from being a 35-year-old man to a pipsqueak teenager. From what I can gather the only way to level up is to kill monsters. Also, by doing different tasks you are able to acquire different skills.
My race is High Human which is one of the rare races in this world. It allows me a boost to my stats and have them higher than normal humans. Elena said that my race is rare but that it wouldn't be a problem in this world. Unless someone has the appraisal skill, I can just say that I am human and if they do then I can just say I come from a small village that consists of High Humans.
I did not know how much of a boost in stats I would be getting but apparently it is quite significant. From the information that I was given by Elena a typical human at level 1 would have stats like this.

With my stats figured out I decide to head towards the Aureum Kingdom while picking up herbs that I find in the forest. To get to the Aureum Kingdom I need to follow the river for two days which means I will need to sleep in the forest.
As I was walking along the river, a noise could be heard from the bush beside me. I quickly drew my sword.
What appeared was a rat with red eyes and sharp fangs. Once it saw me it immediately bared its fangs and rushed at me. I decided to use appraisal on it while it was still rushing at me.

If its fangs can be used in making poison, then I better not let it bite me. As soon as the forest rat got within range, I swung my sword and sliced its head clean off. Surprisingly I am not getting sick from the sight in front of me. This is probably Elena's doing.
After the fight with the forest rat I continued walking until the sun started to set. I decided to sleep on the top of a tree and ate the preserved food that Elena gave me to start me off. With that my first day in this new world ended.
