In that moment the remaining squad soldiers opened fire, as bullet came flying, forcing Diez to use his own sycthe to deflect the bullet that ae flying at him.
However the moment he did that, the squad captain immediately replaced her ammo with a very special one's, as she quickly loaded her gun and fired at the enemy.
In response to this, Diez immediately made a maneuver to dodge all the bullets, only for it to realize that the bullet that the squad captain had used actually explodes upon getting near him.
Due to this Diez was blown back by its blast, as he crashed unti the iron fence at the rooftop, making the squad members fire more rounds at him in order to hide the special bullet that the squad captain had used against him.
Seeing their formation, Diez simply snickered as he quickly moved away and instead aimed for the ordinary residents behind them.
Naturally the squad captain saw this, as she kept her calm composure and aimed at the predicted areas where Die, would likely take.
After firing two special bullets, the squad captain waited for the rift moment when the bullets gets near Diez, only for the latter to smile and immediately changed his direction, which caused the special bullets to miss.
Caught off guard, Diez threw his sycthe at the squad captain, forcing the person herself to use her weapon to block it, only for her gun to get destroyed upon contact. With her main weapon down, Diez rushed at her with a creepy smile as he thrust his hand towards her head in an attempt to blow her brains out.
Unfortunately aside from shooting bullets, the squad captain is also proficient in hand to hand combat even more so than her seniors. With that she easily dodged Diez attack, as she quickly pulled out a photon knife from her back pocket and sliced Diez arms multiple times with her blade.
However all of the wounds that Diez took were flesh wound and none of them are lethal. So with that Diez simply swung his arm at her, forcing the squad captain to dodge the attack by ducking down, only for it to give a chance for Diez to kick her straight from below and blowing away the squad captain.
Even though the squad captain blocked the attack, the blow from that kick alone was so powerful that she felt like a few of her bones in her arms were cracked by that attack. Thankfully her squad was there to cover for her when she got blown away.
However the moment Diez turned his attention to them, he easily discharged their weapons, as he broke a few bones on her squad, leaving all of them squirming on the floor.
Gritting her teeth, the squad captain charged towards Diez with a knife on hand as she aimed for his neck. However despite squarely hitting his neck, the blade from her knife wasn't able to cut it, no matter how hard she pushed her knife down. All it could do was leave scratches on the surface of its skin.
Upon seeing this, shock appeared on the squad captain face, as she realized that photon weapons are not enough to injure an enemy of such caliber. But before the squad captain could even pull back, Diez suddenly smacked her face with the back of his hand, before getting pummeled down with a punch to the face, leaving the squad captain twitching from the two deadly impact.
At this moment, the squad captain's life was hanging by a thread, as her face was bleeding all over after getting pummeled by the enemy.
It was a pain like no other, it hurts so much that she felt like she could die any moment. In that moment the squad captain realized that the agents were practically taking the hits of this caliber with their own body.
Each blow was enough to kill an ordinary person, an in just two strikes she was already at the brink of death as pain coursed all over her. If two strikes could do that, what's more to multiple blows hitting the agents body. It was no wonder why many agents quit the job during the late of their career even when offered money, it was no wonder why some agents received trauma from their missions causing them to back away in field activities.
At first she thought of the agents actions as an act of cowardice, never did she expect that such cowardice came from such experience. In the end the agents are just humans who is a little bit special.
As the squad captain thought of this things, Diez then dragged her body by pulling her hair, as he plans to drag out the battle in orderto instill despair among the ordinary masses. After all, everyone in the squad were taken out, seeing such a scene must have truly devastated them. From among the crowd, he could hear young children's crying and old people begging for their lives. Such noise was a music to his ears.
In that moment one of the patients walked towards him, catching his attention, as he quickly pulled out a gun from underneath his clothes, causing Diez to immediately react by dropping the squad captain and avoiding the guns aim.
However the person himself didn't shoot his shot, as his eyes followed Diez movement and pulled out another gun underneath his sleeves and fired it at him.
Upon seeing this, Diez immediately dodged the attacks trajectory as he quickly picked up his sycthe on the floor, and sent a mana wave at the new enemy.
However the patient simply broke his attack by firing his gun at it, rushing at him like a mad man.
With that Diez swung his sycthe at him, only for the guy to quickly flip over his attack while firing at him upside down. With that Diez was blown back by the attack, as he crashed at the rooftops door, with a shock face looking at the patient.
"You... those eyes... your no soldier... your an agent aren't you?"
