POV: Nick Fury, Director of S.H.E.I.L.D
Location: Atlantic Ocean, S.H.E.I.L.D Helicarrier
I watched as screen after screen appeared and disappeared from my sight civilian video of the giant rats climbing buildings, a news broadcast showing areas affected by the evacuation order, and another broadcast right next to a vechicale blockade where Captain America stood shield in hand.
But those were barely in my peripheral vision as I watched the footage from Robin's suit of the new creatures that had supposedly caused this mess in the first place.
Skullcrawlers or 'Titanus' Cranium Reptant a creatures considered by those who witnessed them in the wild and up close to be nature's mistake and to be honest I could see why.
They were big and ugly and yet fast and nimble in their own way, but the information from the research diary recovered by Nightfury was somewhat amiss.
These skull crawlers unlike the ones described were colorful unlike the grey and white creatures described in the text.
'Could these be a different subspecies or a mutant strain?' I thought but banished that train of thought I wasn't a biologist best to leave that line of questions for Monarch.
But if these were different from the records recovered that meant possible unknown variables and I hated unknowns and I had been handling far too many of those lately.
The door to the room opened I didn't need to turn to know that it was Hill she stepped into the room the reinforced door closed without a sound.
"Director evacuate in the nearby area of the park is already 76% finished and agents have reinforced the UN building all tunnels and bridges have been secured and are being reinforced by the army and National guard General Ross has already begun reinforcing the coast of New jersey with his Buster units it is unknown how many rats they have take down or possibly captured," Hill said a couple of new screen appeared showing me new data not known by the public.
General thunderbolt Ross I felt a headache coming everything I had the inkling I was going to have to talk to the man, and the idea of him getting his hands on new guinea pigs was not somthing I wanted to deal with at the moment.
"I want every rat acounted for living or dead and in our or Monarchs hands," I ordered already thinking of possible wats to ruin any new gamma experiments Ross could cook up on his head.
"Sir shouldn't we start contacting some of our heavy hitters overseas?" as she asked the question a screen appeared showing who and where heroes current locations were.
Most if the Justice League and Avengers heavy hitters were in Europe specifically along the Atlantic coast incase the attack from Atlantis begins.
I shook my head if we did there's no way Atlantis doesn't see that as a perfect opportunity to attack and the European nations would see it as being abandoned by the US.
"We got what we have Hill and it has to be enough," I said looking at the estimate time of 15 minutes till till the Helicarrier should arrive in new york.
POV: Nightfury (Elder Valstrax)
Location: Central park
"Just Fucking Die," I roared as I blasted under a skullcrawler sliced the belly as I passed its intestine pouring onto the ground as it roared in agony and fury.
Just as I was about to dive and start cutting it apart some more I felt somthing latch onto my wing before I felt myself begin pulled backwords.
With a roar in spun and cut off the toung of the skullcrawler but apparently not fast enough as I was now looking down the the throat of the monster.
I put my hand up and tensed my legs just in time to stop it's jaws from closing.
I felt the skullcrawler begin to threash around like a crocodile with a hunk of dead flesh that image caused new anger burn and with much effort extended my wings into blades and began cutting.
*SKREEE!!!*
The cry of agony from the skullcrawler filled my entire being but it refused to release me in fact it only doubled down and tried to wrap its toung around me and tried to bite down harder.
"I AM NOT YOUR SNACK!!!" I Roared out and turned the aproching tounge into ribbons of foul meat.
The sight and smell of blood the sound of cutting flesh and the roars of agony of a skullcrawler where my entire existence for what felt like a eternity.
*SKREEEeee...* *THUD*
Until finally it dropped dead in a burst I flew out if it's mouth and expwxted to be immediately attacked once again only to looked around and see the other running off.
"Where the hell for you think you're going!?!" I growled out and took off after the gluttonous creatures.

"Finally I was wondering where the new mission would be," I said to myself but before I could accept the mission it dissapeard and I felt a pressure on me I immideatly recognized what it was...The Original before I could do anything I felt a connection.
"I'll handle the monsters you close the path to hollow earth," he said and I stopped and immediately turn around a smile on my face.
POV: 3rd person
"OPEN FIRE!"
The order was given with a cry full of fear rather than a roar as police officer, military personnel, and agents of shield fired their guns at the monstrosity that now rampage towards them.
Guns sent a storm of metal down the road the skullcrawler walked and yet it moved forward as if the nothing was happening.
The bullet doing nothing to the creature even as machine guns mounted and carried unleashed a new level of fire power downrange it did little but irritate the monster coming towards them.
"We're not doing shit to this thing!"
"We...we're going to die..."
One after another more men faltered the idea to retreat to run to hide worming into there minds, and it wasn't just at this post.
Across the city similar situation where accruing even with the heros of the city and more these new kaiju where ravinuse ane mad.
Captain America flung his mighty shield into a skullcrawlers eye.
The titan screeched in pain and swung its tail to crush the captin only for the human to backfill out if the way catch its disk mid flip and with a three point land shield first.
The skullcrawler roared ready to bite down on Captain America only to be distracted by a barrage of explosions on its head.
It turned to see a hanging off a building Hawkeye already have an arrow already pulled back.
The skullcrawler roared up at him but Hawkeye just winked before letting the arrow go and fly directly into the skullcrawlers open roaring mouth.
The skullcrawler bit down instinctively causing the arrow to deploy the skullcrawler quickly started scratching at its throats flailing around.
"Ah...Clint what was that arrow?" Captain America asked watching as the skullcrawler scratched at its throut.
"Oh just a quick foam cement arrow..." Hawkeye said smirking as the skullcrawler finally fell to the street withering on the ground "...used for a quick escapes and more but I guess monster slaying can be add to the list of uses."
"Creative...how many more of those arrows do you have?" Cap asked as the line of officers agents and military cheered and waved at the two Avengers.
Clints smirk fell at caps questions "counting the one I used three more in my quiver maybe twelve total back at the tower," he said and Captain America nodded grimly.
Across the city near the Baxter building the streets were on fire...literally.
"Man these skull things are hard to put down" Johnny Storm the Human torch said standing on the burning corpse of a skullcrawler.
Warmachine floated above scanning the area, "I Wouldn't get to comfortable match stick my scanners are picking up another target."
"Another monster to feel the burn where's it at?" Johnny storm asked arrogantly.
*GRRRRRR*
The deep growl from above caused the two hero's to freeze and slowly turn to see a much larger skullcrawler standing admitted the burning flames and smoke glaring down at the two.
"Me and my big mouth," Johnny said as the skullcrawler opened its mouth before it paused.
Across the city of New York skullcrawler and what remained of the Giant rats all paused.
On the Heatseeker the H.E.A.T team monitored the situation.
"Huh what's going on with the monsters?" Mendal Craven asked watching through monitors as across the city titans pause in their rampage.
*Ping* *Ping* *Ping*
"I think our favorite big lizard just arrived to the party and isn't very happy," said Randy Hernandez smiling watching as a large object on sonar moved closer to Manhattan.
"Yeah and I dont think those skullcrawlers like that there party is being crashed," Elsie Chapman said pointing as on all monitors the skullcrawlers were gathering to meet Zilla.
"Zilla has delt with other creatures before but never multiple at once," Monique Dupre the teams resident spy said watching.
"Zilla will win because hes the only chance we all have to getting those monsters out of new york," Niko Tatopoulos says looking out the heatseekers window watching as zillas dorsal-plats break the surface of the water.
The shadow underneath the surface of the water rises and as the head of Zilla is about to breach two glowing green eyes can be seen as his head rises.
*RROOOAAARRR*
Zillas roar announces to the arrival of this alpha and those who trespass in his territory.
And said trespassers announce themselves in kind.
*SKREEE*

*SKREEE*
Skullcrawlers meet the alpha all ready to vie for the chance to gain territory on the surface rather than barely survive in hollow earth.
Zilla rises from the ocean stepping onto the shores and streets of Manhattan watter cascading down his scales as he walks.
Each step cracks concrete and pavement the sway of his tail shatters widows and glass as he walks forward.
*SKREEE*
A young skullcrawler charges forward and leps toward s Zilla throat jagged claws and teeth barred.
Only for Zillas clawd hand to catch the juvenile mid air its elongated lizardlike head caught in his claws.
The juvenile skullcrawler hissed and bit the air in a savage mockery of what iy wanted to achieve.
Zilla barely glanced down at the thing in its claws.
*Crack* *Snap*
The sound of a tree snapping in half echoed through the area as the juveniles head and neck broke in Zillas claws.
The sight caused the other skullcrawlers hunger ridden mad minds to process somthing the instincts knew at this very moment...
This alpha didn't see them as challengers and barely saw them as trespassers, no this alpha only saw them as one thing.
Vermin to be hunted and killed.
The skullcrawlers all of them took a step back as zillas dorsal-plats started to glow green.
