Gao Yang pressed the envelope with his hand, his face twisted, as if he had been sold out by Nate, rather than having received all the assets left by the Angels.
"Nate, you bastard, if you want to die, go and die. Why leave me this junk? Do I look like I need this little bit of money!"
Knowing full well that Nate couldn't hear him, Gao Yang couldn't help but curse.
Nate was bent on dying, and Gao Yang really couldn't stop him. He could only watch helplessly as Nate led the Angels to their end, to their destruction.
If it ends here, then it ends. We've all saved each other's lives, no one owes anyone. If someone really wants to die, don't stop them.
Gao Yang had already tried his best. He didn't want to see the Angels perish, but he truly tried his best. If the Angels disappear from here on, no one can blame him for anything. At least, Gao Yang had no guilty conscience.
But Nate insisted on leaving all the inheritance to Gao Yang.
