Chapter 3 - Leaving Planet Vegeta, Rewards Obtained!

Time passed quickly, and a day and a half slipped by in the blink of an eye.

That night, Zeru stepped out of his resting pod.

He didn't carry any large items, only a few changes of clothes, all stored within the system's built-in space.

Whoosh!

Under the cover of darkness, Zeru arrived at the place he had agreed to meet Bardock the day before. It was a vast stretch of land, with cold winds howling through the night, sounding almost like wolves crying in the distance.

"Zeru!"

At that moment, a low voice came from behind a pile of rocks nearby.

"Bardock!"

Hearing Bardock's voice, Zeru's face lit up with excitement. He quickly ran toward the rock pile.

Soon, he arrived. The moment he saw the small spacecraft hidden behind the rocks, the excitement on his face grew even stronger.

"I hope you'll keep your promise. When you meet Kakarot in the future, take care of that little guy."

Standing beside the small spacecraft, Bardock looked at Zeru with a serious expression.

"Please rest assured!"

Zeru straightened his back, his face firm as he responded in a deep voice.

"Thank you."

Bardock stared at Zeru for a moment, then finally smiled. He slowly opened the hatch of the spacecraft, signaling that Zeru could enter.

Without hesitation, Zeru stepped into the small spacecraft.

"I've already set the coordinates for you. It's a planet far away from Planet Vegeta."

Before the hatch closed, Bardock spoke softly.

"Thank you!"

Zeru expressed his gratitude again.

"You know how to operate a spacecraft, right?"

Bardock asked.

"Yes."

Zeru searched through his memories and found that he was already familiar with spacecraft operation. After all, he was seven years old and had a power level of 300. With a bit more strength, he would already qualify for off-world missions.

"In that case, good luck!"

Bardock closed the hatch and stepped back over a dozen paces, quietly watching as the spacecraft's engine ignited and slowly lifted off the ground.

Then, with a roaring sound, the small spacecraft carrying Zeru shot into the sky like a streak of light, disappearing instantly into the dark night.

Bardock looked up at the night sky for a while longer before finally turning away, his expression heavy as he left the area.

At the moment of takeoff, Zeru suppressed his excitement. After calming himself, he went straight into sleep mode.

When he woke up again, he found that he had already reached his destination.

Stepping out of the spacecraft, Zeru stored it into the system's built-in space and began walking around, observing his surroundings.

"Notification!"

"Congratulations, Host, for successfully completing the selected task. Rewards obtained: Instant Transmission, 100,000 power level, 50% S-Cells, and Kaioken x5 with no side effects."

After only a few steps, the system's notification rang out in his mind.

"Host: Zeru

Age: 7 (Age 737)

Power Level: 100,300

Skills: Energy beam, Kaioken x5 (no side effects), Instant Transmission

Items: None."

Zeru glanced at his status panel, raising an eyebrow. Although the system had granted him 100,000 power level, he didn't feel any stronger at all, which puzzled him.

"Host, your perception is mistaken. Try firing an energy beam and see how powerful it is."

The system spoke.

"Oh?"

Immediately, Zeru pointed toward a distant hill and fired a Energy beam.

Boom!

The beam struck the hill, and in an instant, the entire hill exploded into pieces.

"This…"

Zeru's eyes widened in shock. With just over 100,000 power level, the destructive force was already this terrifying. What about millions, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions and beyond?

"No wonder the Dragon Ball world is considered one of the highest-tier power systems among dimensional worlds. Even someone with just over a million power level could probably destroy a planet with ease!"

Zeru couldn't help but marvel. As for how characters in the later stages of Dragon Ball, with power levels in the billions, couldn't destroy Earth.

Thinking about this, Zeru's eyes flickered. He rested his chin on his hand, pondering whether this real Dragon Ball world would still have those inconsistencies.

"Host, the world you've entered is exactly the Dragon Ball world from the anime. No matter what butterfly effects you create, the major events will still occur, but details may change."

The system explained.

"Oh?"

Zeru narrowed his eyes slightly and asked, "If I ended up dating and marrying Bulma, would Trunks still be born?"

"Yes."

The system continued, "However, Trunks would instead be born from Vegeta and another Earth woman."

"I see."

Zeru nodded with a smile. Honestly, he quite liked that kind of setting.

Pushing aside his stray thoughts, Zeru prepared to begin his training. According to the system's detection, the gravity on this planet was about thirty times that of Earth, effectively making it a natural thirty-times gravity chamber.

While it wouldn't provide perfect training conditions for someone with a power level of 100,000, it was still better than nothing. More importantly, he needed time to get used to his newfound strength.
