"Notification!"
"Congratulations, Host, for successfully choosing Option 2. Please do your best to escape Planet Vegeta within three days!"
…
As the system notification sounded, Zeru curled his lips. Even without this reward, he would still have to figure out how to escape Planet Vegeta.
"At the moment, internal personnel probably aren't allowed to leave Planet Vegeta. So… if I want to get out, I'll likely have to steal a spaceship and slip away in the dead of night."
Thinking this, Zeru turned his head and glanced at Bardock beside him. When it comes to stealing spaceships, this guy was definitely experienced.
After all, if Bardock hadn't stolen a spacecraft to send the young Kakarot to Earth, how would the future overpowered Goku even exist?
"Bardock, can we talk about something?"
Zeru organized his thoughts, then tugged lightly on Bardock's hand and spoke in a low voice.
"Huh?"
Bardock looked at him in surprise.
"Come here. Let's talk somewhere else."
Zeru stepped aside, moving a few paces away from the surrounding Saiyans, then waved Bardock over.
Bardock felt a bit puzzled but didn't refuse. He walked over to Zeru.
As soon as Bardock approached, Zeru stood on tiptoe and pressed down on his shoulder, forcing him to lean closer before speaking.
"Bardock, I want to ask… where did you steal the spaceship you used to send Kakarot away?"
"What?!"
Bardock's face instantly filled with shock. He staggered back several steps as if startled out of his wits.
Zeru simply smiled silently at Bardock's flustered reaction.
"You… how do you know about that?!"
Bardock took a deep breath and glanced around. Seeing that no one had noticed his outburst, he let out a sigh of relief. Then he leaned closer to Zeru and whispered, "And… you want to leave Planet Vegeta?!"
"Yes."
Zeru didn't hide his intentions. He nodded and said, "I think you've sensed it too. Frieza's visit this time won't be anything good. That's why you made preparations in advance and sent Kakarot away early. Am I right?"
"You…"
Bardock's expression changed completely. He stared at Zeru in disbelief, as if trying to see through him.
But he failed.
Zeru's young face was calm and composed, revealing no emotional fluctuations at all.
"What do you want?"
Bardock asked in a low voice.
"I want you to steal a spaceship for me, and set its destination to the same planet Kakarot is heading to."
Zeru bowed deeply to Bardock, then raised his head and said, "You can only vaguely glimpse Kakarot's future when you're about to leave this world… but I can already see everything that lies ahead for him."
"You… do you also have precognitive abilities?!"
Bardock was utterly shocked.
"Yes."
Zeru nodded. His expression turned serious as he said in a heavy tone, "Otherwise, why would I want to escape Planet Vegeta? Because in three days, Planet Vegeta will definitely be destroyed by Frieza! Every Saiyan on this planet will be wiped out!"
"Why would Frieza want to destroy Planet Vegeta… destroy the Saiyan race?"
"Because he fears the birth of a Super Saiyan! I know you can't convince the others to escape, so you'll choose to fight to the end. But I don't need convincing. I want to leave Planet Vegeta and seek revenge on him in the future. The more Saiyans survive, the more Frieza will fear—and the greater the chance of vengeance!"
After finishing his words, Zeru stared directly at Bardock, whose forehead was now covered in sweat. He had said everything he needed to say. The rest depended on Bardock's choice.
This was the easiest path Zeru could take. If Bardock refused, then Zeru would have no choice but to steal a spaceship himself.
"Alright! I'll do it. I'll steal a spaceship for you!"
After standing there silently for a while, his expression shifting, Bardock suddenly locked his gaze onto Zeru and gritted his teeth. "I believe in your precognition… but I won't send you to the same planet as Kakarot! If you truly have what it takes, you'll meet him someday anyway. When that happens, I hope you'll take care of him!"
In truth, this was just Bardock's justification. A seven-year-old like Zeru already had a power level of around 300. On a low-level planet like the one Kakarot was heading to, that kind of strength would make him a ruler.
What if…
Bardock couldn't ignore that possibility. What if Zeru harmed Kakarot?
There was no way he would allow Zeru to follow Kakarot to the same planet.
Zeru understood Bardock's thoughts almost instantly. He simply smiled and nodded. "No problem. As long as I can leave Planet Vegeta within these three days, that's enough."
"No need for three days. Come find me here tomorrow night."
Bardock spoke with absolute confidence. Clearly, he was very skilled at stealing spaceships.
Hearing Bardock's promise, Zeru finally felt a wave of relief wash over him. Without any real power to rely on, he had successfully used his knowledge of the Dragon Ball storyline to persuade Bardock into helping him.
