during the first break of dawn Adrian can be seen waiting for his carriage which is en route towards the Heavens scholars academy
Adrian sighed as he talked to himself "... truly i had already experienced this indifference from the servants many times but the gall they have to not care about preparing things beforehand never seems to not appall me" he rubs his temples
'as this is Kaya's first year she has gone to the academy a week prior than me' adrian chuckles to himself as he remembers how insistent she was on heading to the academy with him but in the end not even the Stellaris imperial family can fight against the academy's rules
while Adrian was submerged in his thoughts he felt the tap of someone on his shoulder
"hey Adrian" said the relaxed slanted eyed prince Victor Stellaris
his long hair whose color is identical to Kaya's purple was swaying around in the cold wind
Adrian's expression contorted into something which can only be described as a mix of fear and anger "Victor." Adrian replied coldly.
The person who gave Adrian the hardest time in the palace was neither the servants nor was it his father whose ignorance of Adrian made him suffer, no the person who gave him the hardest time was his older brother Victor.
"What's with the long face dear brother? and where's your carriage? don't tell me, it isn't here yet is it?" Victor put his hands over his mouth and gasped, however it was evident that a smile was formed on his mouth
Adrian remained silent in the face of his brother's indirect insult of his situation and remained calm as he thought to himself 'i have experienced this treatment thousands of times, it doesn't faze me anymore however just you wait, ill pay back everything you've done to me ten folds Victor.'
victor continued his act of being a worried brother by saying "dont worry we'll definitely fire the person whose the main cause for this delay' adrian thought to himself 'you're the cause but ok'
"oh no at this rate won't you be late to the first day of the academy? without a medical excuse that wouldn't be a good look would it?"
Adrian continued to remain silent.
Victor acted as if he was thinking deeply then clicked his fingers "ah i got it! How about you go using my carriage? i don't need it since i can use teleportation magic anyway"

Adrian's face which had reverted back towards a calm expression has started to resemble a scowl 'he most likely noticed my sudden change of behavior and wanted to put me in my place is that it? how meticulous'
noticing that Adrian was in deep thought Victor spoke again " What's there to think so hard about Adrian? I'm just trying to help you i mean i am just so worried for you with you suddenly overexerting yourself with working out and all" victors hand reached to rest on Adrian's shoulder
"Is a dog barking in my ear?" Adrian said as he shoved his brothers hand aside
"What?" Victor said in a mix of confusion and anger
"Did I stutter?" Adrian replied without missing a beat and continued speaking "i don't need your carriage as mine is already prepared"
Victor looking visibly confused looks at Adrian trying to keep his act together
"What do you mean? i don't see any carriages prepared"
'I already thought of a situation similar to this one happening in my plans, so I made sure to bribe the coachman' Adrian laughed inwardly as he saw his carriage coming in the corner of his eye.
it appears the coachman chose to listen to victor by delaying his arrival as per promised but also kept his end of the deal with Adrian
"can't you see it brother?" Adrian said with a refreshed smile as he boarded upon the carriage
victor held a dumbfounded face all the way until Adrian exited through the main entrance of the imperial palace
"Bahaha! that was truly refreshing" Adrian spoke out loud inside his carriage
"It'll be an hour until I reach the academy, at this rate i should be there right as the introduction seminar starts" Adrian thought about what he should do until then

"where is she now.." Adrian scanned everyone nearing the entrance of the academy
"was i too late?" he said as he clicked his tongue
as he was nearing the entrance of the academy, his eyes still concentrated on the hordes of nobles entering the academy someone ends up bumping into him THUD
"Ow!" the girl whose uniform looks untidy from hurrying up, whose pitch black hair stumbles about in the wind almost hiding her sapphire black eyes looks at Adrian for a second before realizing who he is, prompting her to freak out
"Aaa your royal highness Ah im so sorry for this" as she is giving her apologies she suddenly feels a sharp pain in her chest, coincidentally Adrian feels the same sharp pain Thump Thump
just then a translucent red tinted warning window appears before Adrian's eyes
