Chapter 1 - my story ..

Hello viewers, I am Yakshit…

I don't always know what to say or how to express everything perfectly, but today I want to share a small story from my life — my first journey alone, my first visit to a big city, and the experience that taught me confidence.

I belong to Bihar, a place full of simplicity, culture, and strong roots. Life there is calm and familiar. People know each other, and everything feels close and connected. I grew up in that environment, where stepping out alone for long distances is not very common, especially for someone like me. But life always has new chapters waiting for us.

Suddenly, one day, I got the opportunity to travel to New Delhi. It was not just a simple trip — it was my first time traveling alone, and that too for such a long distance. I was excited, but at the same time, I was nervous. My mind was full of questions: Will I manage everything on my own? What if I get lost? What if something goes wrong? Still, somewhere inside me, there was a small voice saying, "Just go for it."

The journey started with mixed emotions. When I left home, I felt a little emotional because it was the first time I was going so far away alone. Traveling such a long distance made me realize how big the world actually is. Sitting in the train (or bus), watching the changing views outside the window, I started thinking about life, dreams, and my future.

After a long journey, I finally reached New Delhi. Everything felt different — the crowd, the speed, the noise, and the energy. It was completely opposite of my hometown. Delhi is fast, busy, and always moving. For a moment, I felt lost in that huge city.

I was staying at my cousin brother's place, which gave me some comfort. At least I had someone there who I knew. But still, the challenge was to explore and manage things on my own.

The most interesting part of my journey was my first experience with the metro. I had heard a lot about the Delhi Metro, but seeing it in real life was something else. It looked modern, organized, and very fast compared to anything I had seen before.

At first, I was confused. I didn't know where to go, how to enter, or what to do. There were so many people around, all moving quickly as if they knew exactly where they were going. I stood there for a moment, observing everything carefully.

Then, slowly, I gathered courage and went inside. I followed others, learned how the system works, and finally entered the metro station. Everything felt new — the escalators, the security checks, the token system, and the platforms.

When the metro arrived, I stepped inside. It was my first time, and honestly, it felt amazing. The metro was clean, fast, and well-managed. People were standing quietly, some looking at their phones, some talking softly. It was very different from the crowded local transport I was used to.

Within five to six minutes, I reached my destination. I couldn't believe how fast and efficient it was. In such a short time, I had traveled a distance that would have taken much longer by road.

That moment gave me a strange kind of happiness. It was not just about reaching the location — it was about the experience. It was about doing something for the first time, alone, without anyone's help.

But the journey was not just physical — it was emotional too.

There were moments when I felt lonely. Being away from home, staying in a new place, and managing everything alone was not easy. Sometimes, I missed my family. Sometimes, I felt unsure about myself. But at the same time, I was learning.

I learned how to be independent.

I learned how to observe and understand things quickly.

I learned how to trust myself.

Every small step I took — asking for directions, buying tickets, navigating the metro — made me stronger. These may seem like small things, but for me, they were big achievements.

This journey changed something inside me.

Before this, I used to think that I am not ready to handle things alone. I used to depend on others for small decisions. But after this experience, I realized that I am capable. I just needed a chance and a little courage.

Traveling alone for the first time is not just about going from one place to another. It is about discovering yourself. It is about facing your fears and overcoming them.

New Delhi taught me a lot — not just about the city, but about life.

It taught me that the world is big, and there are endless opportunities waiting for us.

It taught me that fear is natural, but it should not stop us.

It taught me that confidence comes from experience, not from thinking.

Now, when I look back at that journey, I feel proud of myself. That small step of traveling alone became a big turning point in my life.

I still remember the feeling when I first entered the metro, the confusion, the excitement, and the happiness when I reached my destination. Those moments are now my memories — memories that I will never forget.

To all the viewers reading this, I just want to say one thing:

Don't be afraid to try something new.

Don't wait for the "perfect moment."

Just take the first step.

Because sometimes, the smallest step can lead to the biggest change.

This was my first journey alone — simple, emotional, and unforgettable.

Thank you for being a part of my story.
