Rayton was sitting under a tree on the hill. The area was awash with blooming flowers and the trees were laden with green leaves. It felt like the height of spring.
‘Something’s off. It’s autumn...’
Puzzled, Rayton remembered the hill’s landscape, which they had seen together just days ago. The multicolor fallen leaves, the sporadically growing reeds, Eton toddling around, and Sez following him.
‘Could this be a dream?’
Rayton looked around. What he was searching for was Sez. Though he knew it was a dream, he acted reflexively. But all of a sudden, someone covered Rayton’s eyes. Startled by the action, he flinched slightly.
“Guess who?”
It was a voice he hadn’t heard before. Rayton felt for the hands covering his eyes instead of responding. They were very small, undoubtedly belonging to someone young, like Eton...
“Guess who....?”
When he gave no answer, the voice asked again. Rayton pondered for a moment before replying,
“…I’m not sure.”
