Chapter 31 - Chapter 30:The Resonance of the Deep Blue

The Great Northern Capital was a city built on the logic of stone and sovereignty. Its walls were reinforced with Matter Energy, and its gates were guarded by arrays that filtered the Qi of every soul that entered. But no array could filter the atmospheric shift that began at midnight.

A hum started. It was low, vibrating in the teeth of every citizen. It was the sound of the

shared library that hold all memories an atom containing all memories of the finite universe even if an atom is destroyed it can share its memories with the other atoms that why having the power to manipulate atoms that can react to a breach in the local narrative is something only xuan ye is capable of.

Deep within the subterranean chambers of the Xuan Clan, the Elders had gathered. In the center of a formation made of Origin Crystals, the Clan Leader Xuan Ye's uncle was meditating. He had been stuck at the peak of the Golden Core for two hundred years. Desperate to regain the clan's standing after the weakening of Xuan Feng, he had activated an ancient, dormant ritual.

He was attempting to summon the tribulation Lightning to forge his Nascent Soul.

But as he drew the energy down, the Calculated Extraction of Xuan Ye's newly integrated system began to interfere. The Book of Fate acted as a prism, refracting the incoming heavenly energy.

The sky over the capital didn't turn red this time. It turned a terrifying, electric cobalt.

The city froze. The Northern Emperor, Zhao Feng, stepped onto the balcony of his high tower, his face etched with a rare expression of genuine alarm.

"The Deep Blue?" the Emperor whispered. "Who... who in this city has the destiny to summon the Millennium Judgment?"

He looked toward the Xuan Clan district, but his vision was obscured by a mist that shouldn't have existed. It was a mist of Dream Energy.

Back in the library, Xuan Ye stood by the window, his eyes glowing.

"The Deep Blue Lightning strengthens the Qi and the Soul," Xuan Ye murmured. "It is the bridge between the physical vessel and the spiritual core."

He opened the Book of Fate to a new page.

"If I let it strike my uncle, he will turn to ash. He doesn't have the Ontological Density to hold that much truth. But if I use him as a filter..."

Xuan Ye began to write.

[Revision:The Deep Blue strike shall be diverted through the Shadow Layer.]

[Variable 90% of the energy is to be

re-routed to the Ink-Wash Heart.]

[Variable:10% is to be left to the host to facilitate Mock Breakthrough.]

In the sky, the cobalt clouds spiraled. A bolt of lightning, thin as a needle but carrying the weight of a thousand oceans, descended. It didn't strike with a boom; it struck with a Sound Energy frequency that shattered every glass window in the capital.

The bolt hit the Xuan Clan's subterranean chamber.

The Clan Leader screamed as the blue fire entered his meridians. He expected the agonizing burn of Yellow Lightning. Instead, he felt his soul being expanded, stretched across dimensions he didn't know existed.

But he only felt 10% of it.

The other 90% was flowing through the floor, through the Shadow Layer of the city's foundation, and directly into the library where Xuan Ye stood.

Xuan Ye took the hit head-on.

His scholar's robes disintegrated, revealing his pale skin covered in shifting, black ink runes. The blue lightning coiled around his limbs like glowing snakes. He didn't scream. He absorbed.

[Ink-Wash Heart:85% Progress]

[Integrating Deep Blue Essence...]

[Soul Density:Increasing]

[Qi Essence: Refining to Origin Omniverse Grade]

As the energy poured into him, Xuan Ye felt the Qi Essence within his heart begin to evolve. It was no longer just the Definition of energy it was becoming the Source.

The fundamental energies were now flickering inside him like dying candles in the face of a rising sun.

He looked at his hand. The blue sparks were being swallowed by the black ink, creating a deep purple hue the color of the coming Unwritten Core.

In that moment, the Higher Realm noticed.

For a split second, the Consensus of the library failed. The bookshelves turned into data streams, the floor turned into a conceptual grid, and the ceiling vanished, revealing a glimpse of the world above.

Xuan Ye saw a mountain. A single, grey mountain that filled the entire horizon of the sky. He saw a child sitting on a rock on that mountain, playing with a handful of marbles.

Each marble was a universe.

The child looked down, eyes wider than galaxies, and for a billionth of a second, their gaze met Xuan Ye's.

The child frowned.

[Warning:Ontological Detection! High-Level Observation in progress!]

Xuan Ye didn't panic. He reached into his heart and pulled out the logic of the unwritten. He wrapped it around himself like a cloak of non-existence.

The Observation passed. To the child on the mountain, the Marble that was the Finite World had simply flickered for a moment. A minor glitch in a subatomic particle. The child went back to their game.

Xuan Ye fell to his knees, gasping for air. His skin was smoking, and the purple glow in his chest was pulsing with a violent intensity.

[Ink-Wash Heart: 88% Progress]

"That... was a child," Xuan Ye whispered, a cold sweat breaking out on his neck. "A child playing with marbles."

He looked at the Book of Fate. He saw the Page Ten truth written there in his own blood To be the One Above All in our realm is to be the Nothing Below All in the next.

He stood up, his gaze hardening. He wasn't discouraged. He was ready.

If the world above saw him as a nothing more than a fantasy in a story, then he would simply have to write a story that made the child stop playing.

Outside, the cobalt clouds dissipated. The Xuan Clan Leader emerged from the wreckage of his chamber, glowing with a Mock Nascent Soul aura, hailed by the city as a new hero.

in the library, the purple core was starting to crack.

The evolution was nearing its end. And the Unwritten Core was ready to be born.
