Chapter 33 - Chapter 32:The Logic of the Vault

The Starlight Vault was located a thousand feet beneath the Imperial Palace, carved into a vein of Divine Energy crystals that naturally suppressed all forms of Demonic and Void Energy. To enter, one had to pass through seven layers of Absolute Law Domains, each overseen by an elder who had lived for half a million years.

In the dead of night, the Palace was a fortress of Light Energy and shifting patrols of Nascent Soul guards. But Xuan Ye didn't move through the corridors.

He sat in the library, his eyes closed.

[Initiating:Remote Redaction]

[Layer 1:The Collective Unconscious of the Stone]

Xuan Ye didn't need to be physically present at the vault. He tapped into the Subterranean Current he had learned about from the Ancient Script. He spoke to the atoms of the stone beneath the palace. He didn't use power he used Consensus.

"You are not a wall," he whispered into the dark current. "You are a memory of a path."

Beneath the palace, the atoms of the vault began to shift. It wasn't a physical movement that could be detected by a seismic array it was an Ontological Shift. The stone began to agree with Xuan Ye's definition.

Inside the library, Zhao Ling watched as the air in front of Xuan Ye began to curdle like black mist. She felt the Primordial Authority radiating from him, a power that made her Jade Void Vision see the library walls as transparent sketches on a child's chalkboard.

"What are you doing?" she whispered, her breath hitching.

"I am controlling the Actual World" Xuan Ye replied. His forehead was beaded with sweat, and the purple glow in his chest was pulsing so brightly it could be seen through his skin.

[Warning:High-Level cultivator Detected]

[Sovereign Domain:The Eye of Order— Active]

In the depths of the vault, one of the Soul Formation elders opened his eyes. He felt a Glitch in the narrative. To his perception, the wall in front of him had momentarily ceased to be Stone and had become Air.

"Intruder!" the elder roared, his voice vibrating through the Soul Energy of the palace.

He unleashed his Domain a Law Type:The Absolute Boundary. Within his space, any change to the physical state of matter was forbidden. He was attempting to Lock the reality of the vault.

Xuan Ye felt the elder's resistance. It felt like a needle trying to stop a tidal wave.

"You are a character trying to argue with the ink," Xuan Ye muttered.

He activated the evolved Sign-In System, now a sub-function of the Book of Fate.

[Ding! Evolved Ability]

[Total Extraction—Active]

[Target:The Eye of Order Domain]

The elder in the vault screamed as his very Dao Heart was suddenly absorbed. The power he had cultivated for five hundred thousand years his mastery over the laws of boundaries was being sucked out of his soul and into a void he couldn't see.

[Ink-Wash Heart:92% Progress]

[Acquired:Logic of the Boundary—High Grade]

The first layer of the vault didn't just break it became Impossible. The stone turned into liquid shadow, and through the gap, a small, obsidian box began to drift. It wasn't moving through the air it was being Pulled by the resonance of Xuan Ye's heart.

"Three more," Xuan Ye gasped, his crystalline bones groaning under the pressure of the unconscious collective energy he was trying to manipulating in each atom.

The other two elders in the vault didn't even have time to scream. Xuan Ye didn't fight them he simply Unwrote their presence from the immediate scene. He moved them into a Possible World where they were still asleep in their meditation chambers.

To the rest of the Palace, the vault remained secure. But to the Actual World, the heart of the vault was now empty.

The obsidian box materialized in the library, hovering between Xuan Ye and Zhao Ling.

The air in the room became incredibly heavy. All fundamental energies the Qi, the fire, the gravity all died within ten feet of the box. This was the Void-Gate Key. It was a piece of the Sunyata trapped in a physical shell.

Xuan Ye reached out. His hand was trembling with the sheer force of the Ink-Wash Heart trying to leap out of his chest. He touched the lid.

The box didn't open. It dissolved.

What remained was a tear in reality a jagged, hole of absolute nothingness. It wasn't black. It was the absence of color, the absence of light.

[Warning:Immediate Proximity to the Sunyata]

[Ontological Weight:Calculating...]

Xuan Ye grabbed the tear.

Xuan Ye's body was being torn apart. His Transcendent Mortal Physique was being erased by the Nothing of the Sunyata. But his Ink-Wash Heart was ecstatic. It was drinking the Non-Being. It was taking the final of its evolution from the very source of the Great Release.

[Ink-Wash Heart: 95%... 97%... 99%...]

"This is it" Xuan Ye's voice echoed through the void, sounding like the cracking of the universe. "It is the place where all becoming ends and being itself dissolves."

The purple nebula in his chest exploded into a singular, blinding point of Unwritten Ink. The Infinite Dimensional World within him finally reached its peak, stabilizing into a hierarchy of superiorities that viewed the Finite World as a mere allegory.

[CRITICAL THRESHOLD REACHED]

[Evolution Complete:UNWRITTEN CORE —EARLY STAGE]

The silence vanished. The library returned to reality with a thunderous CRACK as the fundamental energies rushed back in to fill the vacuum.

Xuan Ye stood in the center of the room.his body was no longer like a fifteen years old. His body had matured into the form of a young man that looked almost eighteen with eyes that were absolute, unmoving voids. His skin was like white marble, and a faint, swirling aura of purple-black ink moved around him like a royal cloak.

[Current Realm:Unwritten Core — early Stage]

[Lifespan: 1 Million Years (Unstable/Expanding)]

[Ability Unlocked:Absolute Redaction]

He looked at his hands. He could feel the atoms of the library no, the atoms of the entire capital bowing to him. He was no longer a Character or a Virus. He became the Author of the Void.

Zhao Ling was on the floor, gasping for air. She looked up at him, and for a moment, she didn't see the boy she had protected. She saw the Supreme Extinction given a human face.

"Xuan Ye?" she whispered, her voice full of a terrifying, heart-breaking awe.

Xuan Ye looked at her. He reached down and touched her cheek. His touch no longer felt like stone or heat it felt like Certainty.

"The world just got a little bit smaller, Zhao Ling," he said.

He looked toward the window. In the distance, the Great Northern Emperor was already in the air, his golden aura lighting up the night sky like a second sun. He was coming for the thief. He was coming with the full power of a Soul Formation master and the 32 Elemental Heroes.

Xuan Ye smiled. It was a beautiful, terrifying expression.

"Let them come," he said. "I have some edits to make to the Royal Bloodline."
