After spending the morning dealing with the South Front project, Kevin and Julian had gone to a quiet restaurant for lunch. They had been discussing one of the project's recent developments when Julian's phone vibrated on the table.
He glanced at the screen.
A message from Victoria. Julian frowned, wondering why Victoria would be sending him a message. The two of them rarely chatted unless it was about business, and he would be aware of any business matter.
Julian opened it casually, expecting to see a business proposal or some family event he was supposed to attend. Instead, his eyebrows lifted.
"What?"
Kevin looked up from his meal.
Julian stared at the pictures for another second before turning the phone toward him.
"What is your wife doing with your cousin?" He had been friends with Kevin long enough to understand the Goodman family structure.
Kevin's gaze fell on the screen.
He wasn't particularly surprised when he saw Loretta sitting across from Lucas.
