Ariana's POV:
My fratelli came and hugged all our relatives one by one. We all were very happy that all of them came here to spend some time together. We all took our seats and then all of us started chatting.
"So princess, how have you been?" Nonno asked me.
"I have been great nonno. What about you guys?"
"We have been good too. So what do you think about our mafia?" He asked me.
"I don't have any problem if that is what you are asking nonno. I was also a part of the mafia in Texas but my parents didn't know. I am fine as long as you guys don't do anything against our morals. Moreover I am also a part of this mafia now. Aren't I?"
"Well said. Of course you are the part now. I feel good that you have your principals and you are also not afraid to voice your opinions. So what part did you play in the mafia back in Texas?"
"I was in training. I didn't have any missions to do. I was training with my instructor, that's why I am good at fighting. You all saw that when I had a match with Alf fratello."
"That's a relief that you didn't go on any mission. I know how dangerous those can be." Nonna said.
"Don't worry nonna. They didn't send me on any mission. They took care of me very well like a little sister. In fact I have invited them to the ball."
"Good. That way we all can meet your former mafia members and get to know them." Zia said.
"Actually, we have business with them and know each other well. Now that we know that princess was also their part, we have decided to expand our business with them. They are good people and match our ethics. I have also sent them invitations and invited their boss also personally." Tony fratello said.
"You did good Tony. You are already a good brother.
That proves that you will also be a good leader." Zio said proudly.
"Of course he is the best brother that any sibling can have." I said proudly. He smiled at me. While all of my other brothers looked at me unhappily.
"So you mean that we aren't the best?" Ben fratello asked unhappily. Who would have thought that he is the same man who refused to have any relation with me and now he is fighting for the favour. How love changes people.
"Yes, that is exactly what she meant." Tony fratello said with a proud smirk on his face. Now I regret saying that. Why did I say that knowing how jealous my brothers are. I feel like going back to a few minutes and slapping myself for saying that. Sigh! Now it's going to be a mess.
"How can you say that? Look how proud he is." Elio fratello said while glaring at him.
"What? I didn't say anything. Princess said it what is true. You all listened to her." Tony fratello said acting innocent like he didn't add fuel to the fire.
"Oh really? Then why are you so proud?" Leo fratello said with gritted teeth. They all nodded in agreement with him.
"Of course I am proud that she thinks that I am the best brother in this world. Who wouldn't be happy?" Then they all started bickering with each other.
"I won't let you off today." Leo fratello and Elio fratello said together and went to Tony fratello threateningly. Tony fratello was not scared at all because as we all know he is the boss in their group and he can beat them up.
"Come on. Who is scared of you?" Tony fratello also said not backing down. They were all behaving like a 10 year old child. If anyone from their company or mafia saw them right now, I am sure they would faint from the shock that they will receive.
All of the others were watching all of this in amusement. I stood up silently trying to escape from there before they decided to involve me again. Papa saw that I was trying to escape from there. I pleaded with him through my eyes and he nodded subtly to let me go. Just when I was about to flee in success I heard a voice, freezing me immediately.
"Where do you think you are going Ariana?" It was without a doubt Leo fratello. I turned around slowly and saw that all of my brothers were looking at me accusingly like I had committed a big crime. I immediately tried to look innocent with a sweet smile on my face.
"No, you are not going to escape from this using your innocent face today, twinnie. You always do that but not today. You have hurt us." Twinnie said.
"Yes princess. How can you say that he is the best brother in the world?" Emilio fratello said.
I knew then that I can't get out of this mess easily so I readily accepted my mistake.
"I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt any of you. I like all of you and love you. You all are the best brothers in my eyes. It's just that at that time I was talking about Tony fratello so I only mentioned him but you all are equal in my eyes. Don't fight now. No one is above anyone else in my eyes." I explained to them and it is true. They all have equal positions in my eyes and heart.
"Are you telling the truth?" Ben fratello asked.
"Of course I am. I love all of you. In fact I am very blessed that I have such good brothers in this world and I am proud of you all. You all love me, cherish me and put me before everything. So how can I not love you all? So believe me when I say that I cherish all of my brothers. I am very lucky that I have so many brothers to protect me and love me." I explained to them sincerely.
"Then that is a relief." Alf fratello said.
"But twinnie, since you are my twin, do you not love me more than other brothers?" He said and immediately every single one of my brothers stared at me with sharp eyes waiting for an answer and seeing if I would tell the truth or not.
I couldn't help but glare at my twinnie for creating a mess again which I have just solved.
"Alright, alright, stop pestering my nipotina now or you will face my wrath." Nonno said, saving me. I heaved a sigh of relief. Finally my nonno saved me from their pestering.
(nipotina: granddaughter, Nonno: grandfather, Nonna: grandmother)
"Because she loves me the most." Now all of us were speechless. He is behaving like a child now.
"Shut up old man. My granddaughter loves me the most." I felt like going back to the time and shooting myself. Why God? Why did I say that sentence?
All of my brothers looked at each other and then at me. We all came to a decision immediately. That was to go away from here as soon as possible. Otherwise we all will be in the middle of their crossfire and you don't want that happening ever.
So all of us moved quietly out of the room and went to the theatre room. All of us sighed in relief to have escaped that storm because my grandparents are like children who bicker at every turn and no one will believe if we tell them that they were once mafia heads if anyone saw them at this moment.
"Phew. We are saved." Orlando said.
"Yeah. We couldn't have handled that." Alessio fratello said. We all agreed with him.
"So what should we do now?" Twinnie asked.
"Well I think that our cousins should first have a rest. They have travelled for a long time and there is still some time for dinner." Ben fratello said.
"No, we had some rest in the jet so we are fine." Luciano fratello said.
"Then let's go in the game room and play some games for a while." Alf fratello said.
"Ok why not." Then we all went to the game room and chose what to play. Tony fratello and Leo fratello went to play pool and all of the others also selected their choice of games and saturated playing. I didn't want to play any games right now so I was sitting nearby and watching them play.
"So Tony, when are you introducing our princess to the mafia? They have to know her before the ball, right?" Elio fratello asked.
"Yes. I have been thinking of doing that when you guys arrived. Now that you are here, we will bring her there and formally introduce her as our mafia's princess. What do you think princess?" Tony fratello asked me.
"I think that it is okay."
"Are you excited to meet them?" Raf fratello asked.
"Of course I am, fratello. You know, since I have been in the mafia before, I have been craving for that connection again and now that I have this opportunity to be a part of the mafia again, I am thrilled just thinking about it. But will they all accept me?"
"Of course they will accept you wholeheartedly. You don't know Ariana but they have always been trying to find you since you went missing. You have always been a part of our mafia and now that you are here with us they will accept and they will be very happy." Leo fratello said.
"And if anyone tries to be mean and say something unpleasant just knock them out and show them who is the boss." Twinnie said, waving his fist. Just then he got a smack from Emilio fratello.
"Shut up. Don't try and corrupt her like yourself." He said to twinnie. I snickered a little at that. Twinnie pouted a little but didn't dare to say anything.
"So princess, go with us and meet them fearlessly and if anything happens remember that you have us." Aldo fratello said. I nodded.
"So princess, what skills did you learn in the mafia?" Orlando asked.
"Well that's a secret that you all will know when the time is right." I said mysteriously.
"What? That's not fair. You have to tell us." I just gave him a smirk.
"Twinnie, you have been keeping secrets with me?"
"Yup."
"That's not fair."
"Okay don't bother her. She said that she will tell us when the time is right. She deserves her privacy." Aurelio fratello said. Aww. He is truly caring.
"Thanks fratello."
"Just take your time princess."
Just then a maid came and told us that the dinner was ready so we went to the dining room and saw that all our family members were sitting there. We also went and took our seats.
We had our dinner and it was truly delicious and satisfying to have a meal with your whole family together.
"Dad, I think that we should bring princess with us to meet with our mafia tomorrow so that they can get to know her before the ball. That way it will be safer and easier if our mafia knew beforehand. Besides, they have all been eagerly waiting to meet her." Tony fratello said.
"I think that is a great idea. I was also thinking of bringing her there. Now that you have mentioned it we will bring her tomorrow." Papa said.
"We will also go with you." Nonno said.
"Okay dad. We all will go after they come back from school. I will tell them all that we will have a meeting tomorrow and to be present there." Papa said. Then it was decided that we all will go to the mafia base after we come from school. I am very eager and looking forward to meeting them all. I will also prove to them my ability if necessary so they don't think that I am only a princess who needs protection all the time.
