Ariana's POV:
I went home. I saw that my friends aren't here yet, so I went to see if my parents are here. They were in their room. I went to the door and knocked on it. "Mom, dad." They opened the door and let me in.
"What happened, Ari?" Dad asked. "Nothing dad. I just wanted to know if you got some response for the application."
"Not yet. I think we will be getting it by tonight or tomorrow." Mom said. I nodded and then went to my room.
I went to the bed and lied down. I was scrolling my mobile, when I thought of checking out my brothers' account. I went to Instagram and searched for their accounts. First I checked Antonio's account.
There wasn't much posted on his account. There were only business magazine clippings and things like that. Boring. *Eye roll*
Then I went to Leonardo's. I was speechless. He didn't even add that much on his account. *Shaking head*
Then Rafael's account. Well he has posted some photos at least. It's just that he posted only about medical science. Like new discoveries in medicine or someone getting an award in medicine. He didn't post something about him. Sigh! Are all my brothers like this?
Then I went to Alfonso' account. I didn't expect him to post anything interesting. And.. I was right. He only posted about health supporting articles, training methods and likes.
Then came Benjamin's account. I was shocked to see that he even has an account. Let's see. He has posted some of his university photos and financial news. Nothing interesting to see.
Let's see Matteo's account. I am sure he has something interesting there. He has posted pictures of him with his friends from school. There wasn't much.
I was scrolling through their accounts when Antonio's call came. "Ciao, principessa. Come stai?" "Ciao fratello. Io sto bene. E tu?"
(Hello princess. How are you?
Hello brother. I am fine. What about you? : In Italian)
"I am fantastic now that I am talking to you. I was missing you so much. Do you know when you will be able to come with us?"
"I don't know yet fratello. Mom and dad have applied for the jobs there for professors. We are waiting for the reply now."
(Fratello means brother)
"Ok, princess. We will wait then. I am sure it will be soon. What are you doing?" "Yeah you are right. I am scrolling through your accounts. You guys are all alike. You don't have anything interesting in your accounts." I said with a pout. He chuckled.
"Princess, we don't have the habit of posting very often. Now that we have found you we will post something interesting. Ok?"
"Ok. You better mister." I was talking with him when mom called me.
"Ari, your friends are here." "Coming mom." "Fratello, my friends are here. I will talk with you later. Bye bye."
"Bye princess. Take care." I then hung up the mobile and went downstairs and saw that they were here. "Hello guys. Come on. Let's go upstairs to my room." They nodded and then we went to my room.
"Guys, do you want something to drink?" Noah said, "cola please." Jessy nodded to show that she also wanted it. I went to the kitchen and took out three bottles of cola from the refrigerator.
Then I went to my room and gave them. "Guys, I am so glad that you came. I wanted to talk to you. I don't know when we will go to New York but I believe it will be soon. Then we won't be able to talk with you guys like this."
Noah and Jessy became sad that we will separate. We started talking about everything that has happened till now. We were so immersed in our talk that we forgot the time and it was already dinner time. We ate lunch but then we forgot the time.
Mom was calling us to come for dinner. "Guys let's go and have some dinner." "Ok" Jessy said. We don't do the formalities between us like 'no. I won't eat. It's ok.' and all of that. We always eat when we are in each other's house.
We went to the dining room and saw that mom had already prepared everything on the table. We sat down and started eating together. "So Noah and Jessy, are your studies going well?" Asked dad. "Yes uncle." They replied together. That happens all the time that I don't even feel amazed anymore.
"Good." Dad said smiling. We ate our dinner while chatting. Then we went to help my mom in cleaning the dishes and table. We did everything and then it was now time to bid them bye. As it was getting late and they had to go home.
"Guys, why don't you stay tonight? Just like when we were kids. Let's have a sleepover. Ask you parents. I am sure that they will say yes." They started looking at each other and then called their parents and just as I have said they said yes.
I was so excited. It has been a long time since we had a sleepover. "I am so excited. Let's go. We will talk all night and will also eat snacks in the middle of the night." I whispered to them about the last part as I can't let my parents hear it.
"Yes, I am also very excited. Let's go." We went to my room and I gave them night suits to wear. Jessy wore mine and Noah wore some of my father's old clothes that were now short on him.
I pull out an air mattress for Noah and set it up. Jessy and I will sleep on my bed as it is a queen sized bed. We then went to bed. We started talking about everything. We reminisced about our time together. How we used to play together when we were kids. How we used to play pranks and everything.
We talked, laughed and cried also. We knew that we only had a few days left together. I don't know when we will meet again. They will have school here and I will be there. Life will happen. But I will try my best to remain in contact with them.
I don't know when I fell asleep but I slept really well. It felt so good to spend time with them.

I woke up at 10 o'clock as we slept really late in the night. I think we slept after midnight. I woke up and saw that Noah and Jessy were still sleeping. I left them sleeping and went to get fresh.
I took a shower and got ready. "Noah, Jessy, wake up. It's 10.30 a.m." They groaned and got up. I sent Jessy to my bathroom and sent Noah to the guest room's bathroom. Then we went downstairs and saw that my parents were not there.
I went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator to see that there were fruits and eggs. I started making pancakes with fruits on top.
I made french toast also. Noah loves it. I also squeezed some fresh orange juice. Jessy and Noah were helping me here. "Breakfast is ready. Let's go and eat." We went and ate together.
After finishing the breakfast Noah said, "Ari, we should get going now. I have some work to do at home." "Yeah. I should also get going. Mom will be waiting for me." Jessy also said.
"Ok guys. We will meet again when we have time." I went and gave them a hug. They went home.
I went in to see if my parents were in their room. "Mom, dad, are you there?" I knocked on their door. Mom opened the door, "Ari, come in. Have your friends gone?" "Yes mom. I just bid them bye. What happened? Why are you in the room?"
I went in and sat down on the chair that was placed by the door. "Nothing happened. We were just sleeping in today as we have taken a day off today." Dad said. I nodded, "did you check if the application got approved or not?" "No. We were waiting for you to get up. Let's go and check it."
I then went to get my laptop out. I logged in and opened the email to see if they had sent any mail. I checked it and found a message. It was from the university. "They have sent the mail. Let me open it." They nodded and waited for me to tell them the result.
I clicked it open and saw that it is an acceptance letter. I read it further and told them, "this is an acceptance letter. They have decided to give you the job based on your experience and certificates. They enquired about it from your current University where you are teaching and they said that you are an excellent professor. They said that you can join there after 15 days from now on. You can join at the first of the month so they will be able to arrange everything till then."
"They have left their number so that you can call them and get everything sorted out. Dad, mom, congratulations. Ahhh... I am so happy. Now we can live together with everyone. Are you happy?"
"Yes baby girl. We are very happy. Your happiness means the world to us. I will call them right now and make the proper arrangements." Mom said.
"Let's call Romanos and let them know that we have got the job and we will be moving to New York after we make arrangements." Dad reminded me.
"Dad, why don't we all go to have dinner together today and then tell them and give them a surprise?" Dad nodded, smiling. He then went to call the university and made the final arrangements with them. He then wrote the resignation letter for the university.
"Ok I have mailed them our resignation. We will have to go there tomorrow to get our things." We nodded. Then mom called father to invite everyone to the restaurant for dinner. We decided to meet at 7 p.m.
We then cooked lunch and ate it. Then I went to my room to take a nap. I was feeling sleepy as I didn't get enough sleep last night.

I woke up at 4 p.m. I went downstairs and saw that my parents weren't home. Maybe they went to get something. I made some light snacks. I was feeling hungry after waking up.
I went to the living room and sat down on the couch. I turned on the tv and flipped through some channels to see that a show was going on. I started watching it while eating the snacks.
I watched tv for some time and then my parents came home. "Ari, you are here. Let's go get ready or we will be late for dinner." Mom said. I nodded and turned off the tv and went to my room.
I took a shower. I did my routine care. I applied the moisture on my body and wore my bra and panties. Then I wore a bath robe and started applying makeup. I usually don't wear it as I feel that it makes my skin heavy but as today we are going out to have dinner, I applied some makeup.
I kept it simple, natural looking. I just applied some foundation, face powder, mascara and lipstick. I did my hair and used the curler to curl my hair.
Then I wore my dress. It was a knee length dress in a beautiful shade of light purple. I wore some of my jewellery. I spritzed my perfume and wore heels. It was not very high as I can't stand wearing it for a long time. And I was ready.
I took my clutch and put in the lip balm and mobile phone and some cash. You never know what emergency you will get.
I went downstairs and saw that mom and dad were ready. "Ariana, you look gorgeous." Mom said giving me a hug. Dad also patted my head lightly to show affection and smiled.
"Thank you mom and dad." I hugged her back.
Then we went to the restaurant. I am very excited to tell them that we are going to live with them. I can't wait to see their reaction.
