Ariana's POV:
I was stunned to see the message. It was from Benjamin. What shocked me the most was the tone of the message. It was not like he is ordering me but more like he is requesting me.
I think today's fight has opened his eyes and mind both. It's good if he wants to make amends but I won't make it easy for him.
Messaging:
"Hello Ariana. Benjamin here. I am sorry for my behaviour today. I want to talk to you and apologize. Can we please meet?"
"I don't have time now. I am at school. You should know that fratello. Besides I told you that I will not talk to you from now on and I plan to keep my promise. Quindi arrivederci fratello."
(quindi arrivederci fratello means so goodbye brother in Italian.)
After sending the message I silenced my phone and put it in my bag. I started talking with them. The bell rang and everyone went back to their seats. A middle aged woman came in and said, "good morning class. Today we have a new student, Ariana Romano. Ariana, can you please introduce yourself to the class?" I stood up and started talking.
"Good morning everyone. My name is Ariana Romano. I am Matteo's twin sister. I am 18 years old and I am from Texas." I introduced myself. Believe me it was very awkward talking about yourself.
"You can sit down, Ariana. Ok class we will read the first chapter....." And just like that our class went by. It was very knowledgeable. I like English very much so it was very much fun for me.
After that we finished our second and third bell. They were all with Matteo. After that, the lunch bell rang. We went to the cafeteria.
"Hey twinnie, we have the best food in our cafeteria. It isn't like the food in other schools. Let's go." We went and queued.
I saw that there are different tables and groups there that many schools have. I saw football jocks sitting on one table and cheerleaders on another near them. Then there were nerds and bookaholics. Then there were not so popular students. There were also popular students at another table.
I don't know in which group Matteo falls but I am sure that he is in the popular group. I took some food and juice and went with Matteo to sit on the table. And just as I thought he is in the popular group. We sat on the table and Matteo introduced me to everyone.
"Twinnie, these are my friends. You have already met Samuel and Liam. This is Gia, Bella, Luna and Matthew."
Gia is the one with the black hair and black eyes. Bella is the one who has blond hair and green eyes. Luna has brown hair and brown eyes. Matthew has brown hair and hazel eyes.
"Hello Ariana. You are already famous here. Everyone is talking about you." Gia said this. "Yeah what is with all of that? I have been noticing this since morning that everyone is staring at me and whispering."
"Actually it is all related to Matteo. He doesn't associate with any girl other than us so that's why everyone is staring at you. Many girls are throwing themselves on him but he doesn't give them a glance. That's why when you ascended from the car with him everyone was looking at you. It has spread that he has a girlfriend now."
I raised my eyebrows at Matteo. So he doesn't have any girlfriends. That's somehow good and bad. Good because he isn't a player, bad because he doesn't have a girlfriend. Well it's ok. Now that I am here I am sure I will find him a good girlfriend.
"Well now I understand why everyone was staring at me. Anyways it's so good to meet you all. I already met Samuel and Liam." They all reciprocated that it's good to meet me.
After that we ate our lunch talking and laughing. We spent our school time just like that. After school we went directly to our home. After going in I saw that nobody was there as everyone went to their work.
I went to my room and changed my clothes. After that as I was going to do my homework, there was a knock on my door. I went and opened the door to see it was Benjamin. He looked very nervous. His eyes kept darting here and there.
"Ariana, can we talk now please?" He asked me nervously.
I said, "but what is there to talk about? We said in the morning whatever we wanted to say. I think there is nothing left to talk about anymore fratello."
"Ariana I know that you are mad at me but please listen to my explanation. Then if you feel like you don't want to talk to me that's fine I will keep trying but please listen to me." I nodded and let him in.
He came in and sat down on the chair that was placed at my desk. He was fidgeting.
"So..." I started. He looked up and started talking.
"Ariana I am so sorry for today and till now about how I am behaving with you. Can you please forgive me? I know that I was a complete jerk with you but I was afraid, afraid that you will be gone again just like before."
He stopped and took a deep breath.
"After you were born you have no idea how much I loved you, I still do, believe me. So when you were kidnapped I was living in hell, going through the motions only. I didn't know what I did wrong or what was my fault that the sister that I wanted since forever was snatched from me."
"I was very sad and then mom also went away leaving us alone in this world. My world became dark and cold. I didn't like anything anymore. I slowly started adapting to all of this and became normal again. I had my father and brothers with me. I started letting go but then you came back."
"Now I was afraid. I was feeling all of the emotions that I felt when you were kidnapped. I started fearing that you will be gone again and I will have to go through that emotion again. So I decided that I will not associate with you. I will not talk with you. If I do that then you will also keep the distance from me but you are my sister. If I am stubborn then you are also stubborn. You didn't give up and kept trying to be close to me."
"You kept trying to talk to me and get close to me. I also liked that feeling but then I would immediately feel afraid. That's why I distanced myself from you. That's why I spoke such harsh words to you because I am afraid. I am very afraid, sister. Father gave me the advice and made me understand that what I am doing is harming both you and I. That's why I wanted to talk to you and clear the misunderstanding. So please can you forgive me?"
He was crying by now. Imagine a grown up man crying that too a man who always has a cold face. I immediately went to him and wiped his tears and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly and cried for some time. After that I spoke with him.
"Fratello we don't know what will happen in the future but we can't spoil our present because of it. I know that you are afraid but I promise that I will try not to fail you this time. I will definitely try to be with the family forever. I know some self defence. You see, if anyone comes to harm me I will give him a good beating and he will regret thinking about it."
I half joked and half told the truth. He also smiled.
"Fratello, please don't be afraid. Now I am here and I am not going anywhere. I forgive you but you have to work hard to be my favourite brother you know."
I winked at him and he smiled and nodded.
"I definitely will, sorella. You can rest assured. Thank you very much for forgiving me. You don't know how much this means to me and I am sorry again to hurt you. I am ashamed of myself. You can give me any punishment that you want."
(Sorella means sister in Italian)
"Ok then your punishment is that you have to get up at 5 a.m. and follow the routine that fratello Alfonso will prepare for you and you can't refuse any of the requests that I make for one month."
"Ok Ari. I will follow whatever you want."
He said reluctantly because Alfonso fratello's training routine is very strict and everyone fears it from what I have seen and Benjamin fratello is very lazy. He usually doesn't get up before 8 a.m. so this will be the best punishment for him. Hehehe...
"Ok now go. I have to do homework." He nodded and went back to his room. I started my homework and finished it by evening. After that I went into the living room and saw that everyone was here and they were talking with each other.
"Hello everyone. What are you talking about?" "Hey Ari. We are talking about your fight today. We heard that Benjamin asked you for forgiveness."
"Oh yes. He did that and I gave him a punishment also. Right fratello?"
"Really, what punishment?" "Fratello, why don't you tell everyone." I smirked at him. He looked a little bit hesitant but he knew that there was no escape for him.
"Actually I have to get up at 5 a.m. everyday and follow the routine that Alfonso brother prepares for me and I have to follow the requests of Ariana for one month."
Everyone was looking jaw slacked at him. Everyone knows that he hates waking up before 8 a.m. so it was shocking for everyone.
"Wow. It is incredible Ari that you can have him do that. Benjamin, now you are welcome to the siblings club where you have to get tortured by your sister." Antonio said.
"Alfonso you have to prepare a very good training session for him." Rafael said, giving an evil smile to Benjamin. Benjamin shuddered.
"Brother, please have mercy on me. Please prepare an easy training schedule for me." He said joining his hands like he is praying. Everyone was amused and laughing at them.
Papa was also very happy to see that we have reconciled.
"Ok Benjamin. I will try. So Ariana what do you think I should do as this punishment is given by you."
"Actually I think I know which training session will be better for him. I think that this training session is better, what do you think...."
We started discussing the training session. Benjamin was sweating by now. Because he can see that it will be very difficult for him. He was very nervous.
After some discussion we came up with a perfect plan for him.
"Benjamin this is your plan. We will train according to this. Take a look."
Benjamin took a look at the training plan and he was relieved to see that it wasn't that much difficult. Yes it has intense training but he is accustomed to it already because he does training regularly.
He is relieved that we had some mercy on him and made a relatively easy plan for him.
"Thank you for having mercy on me." Ariana and Alfonso nodded. After that we started talking and laughing. Then we had dinner and went to sleep in their room.
"Benjamin fratello go to sleep early because you have to get up early in the morning remember?"
I teased him. He nodded obediently and went to sleep. It's so weird to see him like this. He doesn't snap at me and doesn't always have a cold face. But I like him like this very much. Now I have all of my brothers with me. I am very happy now.
