Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Ceremony of Circuits and Light

The open square in front of the newly built factory glowed with soft silver-blue light from the twin towers nearby. Colorful banners in Tempest's colors fluttered in the gentle breeze, while strings of fairy lanterns added a warm, festive touch. A wide stage had been set up at the factory entrance, decorated with fresh frangipani flowers and small Malaysian flags that Takumi had suggested through Veldora. The air carried the faint, comforting scent of coconut and spices from food stalls Shuna had arranged along the sides.

Citizens from every corner of the federation filled the square—goblins, orcs, lizardmen, and many others. They stood shoulder to shoulder, eyes bright with curiosity. At the center of the stage stood Rimuru, his presence calm and welcoming. Veldora stood beside him with steady dignity. Milim bounced lightly on her toes, unable to hide her excitement. Ramiris floated above the stage, sprinkling tiny sparkling lights that danced like fireflies. Shuna waited with quiet grace, a tray of fresh Nasi Lemak and Satay ready for the first guests. Gabiru stood tall in his armor, still amazed by the height of the towers behind them. Benimaru and Diablo observed from the side, ensuring everything remained safe and orderly. Souei appeared silently near the edge, his sharp eyes watching over the crowd.

Rimuru stepped forward, his voice clear and kind so everyone could hear. "Today we open the first PC Factory of Tempest. This place will create machines that help us learn, work, and play together. Thanks to Takumi's vision and Veldora's power, we now have fiber lines that reach every town and every home. The machines run with a friendly guide—an anime-girl AI who will answer questions and help with any task. A second server holds knowledge and games from Takumi's old world, including a place called Steam where anyone can safely buy and enjoy new adventures."

The crowd murmured with excitement. A young goblin near the front clutched his phone and whispered, "I can play real computer games now?"

Milim hopped to the front of the stage and raised her arms high. "This is going to be the best day ever! I already tried one of the machines inside. The games feel so real, and the AI girl is super nice! She even remembered my favorite color when I asked!"

Ramiris spun in the air, leaving trails of light. "The fiber is faster than anything! Messages and pictures arrive in the blink of an eye. We can all stay connected no matter where we are."

Shuna stepped beside Rimuru, her voice soft yet warm. "The factory also has a learning corner. Anyone can come and try building a PC with their own hands. I have prepared snacks from Takumi's homeland so you can enjoy them while you learn. Food and knowledge together make the heart happy."

Gabiru straightened proudly. "My tribe will send our best young ones to study here. These machines will help us plan better and share knowledge across the mountains. I am truly grateful for this gift."

Veldora placed a steady hand on the podium and spoke for Takumi so the entire square could hear. "Takumi says this factory is more than metal and wires. It is a bridge between his old world and our new one. The PCs will let children learn stories, adults run businesses, and everyone enjoy games together. The anime-girl AI will be like a kind friend who never tires of helping. Steam will bring safe adventures that train the mind and bring laughter. He thanks every one of you for welcoming his memories into Tempest."

The crowd cheered loudly. Rigurd, the wise goblin leader, stepped onto the stage carrying a small golden key. "On behalf of all citizens, I thank Takumi and Veldora. This factory will create jobs and joy for many seasons to come."

Rimuru took the key and turned toward the factory doors. "Then let us open it together."

He inserted the key into a glowing panel. The wide doors slid open smoothly, revealing the clean interior. Assembly lines hummed gently, ready to create components. Rows of finished PCs stood on display shelves, their screens glowing with the friendly anime-girl AI who waved cheerfully from every monitor. "Hello, everyone! I am here to help you build, learn, and play. What shall we create today?"

Milim rushed inside first and sat at the nearest PC. "I want to build my own gaming machine! Look, the parts are so easy to choose!" She clicked through options with quick fingers, laughing as the AI guided her choices.

Ramiris followed and added fairy sparkles to one of the screens. "I can make the graphics even prettier! The fiber lets us download games from Steam in seconds."

Shuna led a small group of children to the learning corner. "Come, try putting a simple PC together. I will help with the snacks while you work."

Gabiru examined a finished machine with wide eyes. "The speed is astonishing. My scouts could send maps across the federation instantly. This changes everything for us."

Benimaru tested a secure terminal at the side. "The network is stable and fast. We can now coordinate defenses in real time while people enjoy their games. It strengthens us without taking away the joy."

Diablo watched the crowd with calm precision. "The second server is well protected. Guests from the Western Council will see this and understand our true power lies in unity and creation."

Souei appeared beside a fiber junction box and nodded once. "The lines reach every village already. No corner of Tempest will feel alone."

Rimuru stood at the entrance and raised his hand for quiet. "Today is only the beginning. The factory will run every day. Come, learn, and play. Let this place remind us that knowledge is a gift we share freely."

The crowd moved forward in orderly lines. Laughter rose as families tried their first PCs. A young orc built a simple machine and cheered when it turned on. An elderly goblin downloaded a peaceful game from Steam and smiled as gentle music filled the air. The anime-girl AI greeted each person with a cheerful voice, answering questions and offering help.

Milim dragged Gabiru to a gaming station. "Try this one! It is like Mobile Legends but on a big screen. You will love it!"

Ramiris floated between stations, helping children choose colors for their custom cases. Shuna moved quietly among the guests, offering plates of Satay and kind words of encouragement.

Veldora stood with Rimuru, watching the lively scene. He relayed Takumi's quiet thought. "Takumi says seeing everyone smile makes the long nights of programming in his old world feel worth it. This factory is now part of our shared home."

Rimuru placed a hand on Veldora's shoulder. "And it will grow with us. The fiber lines will reach even farther, the games will teach new skills, and the AI will become a friend to all. Thank you, Takumi. Your dream has become ours."

As the sun climbed higher, music from the nearby Night Market floor drifted across the square. The factory hummed with life—clicks of keyboards, laughter, and the soft voice of the AI welcoming everyone. The opening ceremony had turned into a day of discovery and connection.

Gabiru stood at a high window, looking out at the towers and the forest beyond. "I came here surprised by height. Now I leave inspired by possibility. My tribe will return soon to learn."

Milim raised a skewer of Satay high. "To new machines and new friends!"

The crowd cheered again. The factory doors stayed open, inviting all who wished to step inside. Tempest had gained more than a building—it had gained a new heartbeat of knowledge, creativity, and shared joy.

Veldora looked at the lively scene with mature satisfaction. "A fine beginning, my friend. The chapter of circuits and light has opened wide."

Takumi's voice carried peaceful pride through the bond. "Yo, bro. This feels like the perfect next page."

The square remained full of warmth long into the afternoon. The Petronas Twin Towers gleamed in the distance, the Night Market hummed nearby, and the new factory welcomed its first true visitors. Tempest's story grew brighter with every click of a keyboard and every friendly word from the AI.
