Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Sanctuaries of Private Joy

The factory's upper gallery offered a quiet space above the main hall. Soft crystal lights glowed along the walls, and wide windows looked out toward the shining Petronas Twin Towers. Veldora stood near the railing, his posture calm and composed. Rimuru, Milim, and Ramiris gathered around him, their expressions filled with clear purpose.

Rimuru spoke first, his voice steady and sincere. "Veldora, we have enjoyed the public machines greatly. Yet we would like something more personal. A private gaming space just for us, where we can play without distraction and explore the games at our own pace. It would be a small sanctuary within Tempest, a place to relax and strengthen the bonds we share."

Milim nodded quickly, her eyes bright. "Yes! I want a room where I can fight in Crimson Desert for hours without stopping. The desert is so big, and the battles feel even better when I can focus completely. Please, Veldora, make one for me too!"

Ramiris floated higher, her small wings fluttering with excitement. "And I want my own corner where I can try every hero in Dota 2 and make the graphics as pretty as I like. A private place where we can play together or alone whenever we wish. It would be like having our own little world inside the big one."

Veldora listened with quiet attention. He felt Takumi's calm presence stir within their bond. "Takumi agrees this is a fine request. A private gaming sanctuary would honor the joy you have already found. We can create it with the same care we used for the factory. Tell me exactly what you envision, and we will shape it together."

Rimuru continued with thoughtful clarity. "The space should feel peaceful yet full of possibility. Soft lighting that changes with our moods, comfortable seats, and screens that respond instantly to our wishes. We could have separate areas for each of us, yet a central room where we gather for multiplayer games. The fiber network would connect it to the main servers so we can access every game safely."

Milim clapped her hands once. "My area must have big windows looking out at the towers. I want to feel the height while I fight in the desert. And a special chair that moves when my character runs fast!"

Ramiris spun in the air. "Mine will have floating shelves for game icons I like. The AI girl can change her voice to sound like a fairy when I play. We can even add small magical effects that make the room feel alive."

Veldora nodded once, his golden eyes reflecting mature understanding. "Your wishes are clear and heartfelt. Takumi and I will begin at once. The sanctuary will use Tempest Vibranium for the walls so it remains strong and beautiful. Pure creation energy will form every detail without waste or delay."

He raised one hand. A gentle blue glow spread across the gallery. The air shimmered as the private space took shape. Three personal rooms appeared first, each tailored to the requests. Milim's area opened with wide windows and a large, comfortable seat that adjusted to her movements. Ramiris's corner featured floating shelves and soft, glowing accents that responded to her fairy magic. Rimuru's section held a simple yet elegant desk with a wide screen and calm lighting that soothed the mind.

In the center, a shared hall formed with plush seating arranged in a circle. The main screen there could split into smaller views or show a single large game for everyone. Fiber lines wove through the walls like silver threads, connecting the sanctuary directly to the factory servers and the second server that held Steam and countless other games.

Milim rushed into her new room and sat down at once. "It feels perfect! The chair moves when I lean forward, and the window shows the towers so clearly. I can play Crimson Desert here for as long as I want!"

Ramiris darted into her corner and touched one of the floating shelves. "My icons are already here! The AI sounds just like a fairy now. Thank you, Veldora. Thank you, Takumi."

Rimuru stepped into the central hall and sat in one of the shared seats. His expression grew soft with quiet gratitude. "This sanctuary is exactly what I hoped for. A place where we can return to simple joys without the weight of duty. Takumi, your guidance has made it possible."

Shuna arrived quietly, carrying a small tray of fresh snacks. "I heard your request and thought you might like refreshments while you play. The sanctuary feels warm and welcoming already."

Benimaru appeared at the entrance, his sharp gaze approving. "A secure and private space is wise. I will ensure no one disturbs you unless invited. The fiber lines here are the fastest in the federation."

Diablo stood silently nearby, his crimson eyes calm. "The design allows perfect focus. If you wish, I can prepare a schedule so each of you has time without overlap."

Gabiru looked around with open respect. "Such a personal gift shows true friendship. My tribe could learn much from a space like this."

Souei materialized in the shadows of the hall. "I will watch the perimeter so the sanctuary remains peaceful."

Milim called from her room. "Everyone, come try a quick match in Dota 2! We can play together in the central hall. The private rooms are wonderful, but playing as a team is even better."

The group gathered in the shared hall. Screens lit up as one. Rimuru chose his familiar mid-lane hero, Milim selected a fast lightning character, and Ramiris picked a tiny archer. The others joined quickly, their heroes appearing on the radiant side of the map.

The match began with smooth coordination. Milim dashed through the jungle with bright energy. "I will clear the camps fast! Watch me go!"

Ramiris sniped from safety. "My arrows will help from behind. Let us win this together!"

Rimuru moved with calm precision. "I will hold the middle lane. Call out if you need support."

The battle unfolded with laughter and quick advice. When a team fight erupted, the group struck as one. Victory music played, and the words "Team Tempest Triumph!" appeared once more.

Milim cheered loudly. "We did it again! The private sanctuary makes every game feel special. Thank you, Veldora. Thank you, Takumi."

Ramiris spun in delight. "My corner is perfect for practicing alone, but the hall is best for friends."

Rimuru smiled gently. "This space will become a treasured part of our days. We can return here whenever the duties of the federation feel heavy. Takumi's world has given us a true gift."

Veldora placed a steady hand on the central table. "Takumi says the same. Seeing you enjoy these private moments fills him with quiet happiness. The sanctuary is yours to shape as you wish."

Shuna offered the snacks with a soft smile. "Enjoy your time here. I will bring fresh dishes whenever you play."

The group lingered in the sanctuary, planning future sessions and sharing small stories from their games. The private rooms waited nearby, ready for quiet moments, while the central hall invited shared adventures. Outside, the factory continued its gentle work, but inside this new space, joy flowed freely.

Milim leaned back in her seat, screen glowing with the desert once more. "This is the best request we ever made. Let us play one more match before we go."

The hall filled with light laughter as the game began again. Rimuru, Milim, and Ramiris had created a small haven of play, and through it the bonds of friendship grew even deeper. Tempest's story continued, now with a quiet corner where hearts could rest and dreams could run free.
