That morning, the journey from Whitby Station to York didn't feel nearly as long as Missy had expected.
Throughout the trip, Raven kept her company in the quiet business-class carriage. They even had breakfast on the train.
At first, Missy had been slightly startled by how many faint shadows stood among the crowds at the station.
Apparently, ghosts really were everywhere.
"I didn't know there would be this many," she murmured unconsciously after settling into her seat on the train. "What about at night?"
"That's because several incidents happened here, and even this old station has quite a dark history since long ago, and—"
"Okay... shh."
Missy suddenly placed her finger over Raven's lips.
Spontaneously.
"This is still morning," she whispered, leaning a little closer. "I am not listening to dark stories or anything related to ghost origins this early."
Raven raised a brow.
"Yes, ma'am," he teased.
And just like that, after an hour and a half, they finally arrived in York.
