I froze the moment I saw the wedding card.
Groom: Arif Rahman
Bride: Nila Ahmed
My hands started shaking.
Arif… my Arif?
And Nila… my own sister?
"No… this must be a mistake…" I whispered, my voice barely coming out.
Just last night, he told me, "I love you. Wait for me."
So what is this?
My chest felt tight. I couldn't breathe.
I ran downstairs, holding the card tightly.
"Ma! What is this?" I shouted.
Mom looked at me calmly. "It's your sister's wedding."
"With Arif?!"
She frowned. "Why are you reacting like this?"
Because he's MY boyfriend!
But I couldn't say it.
No one knew about us.
Tears filled my eyes as I looked at the date.

My whole world collapsed in a second.
Suddenly, my phone vibrated.
It was Arif.
For a moment, I hesitated… then I picked up.
"Hello?" my voice was cold.
There was silence on the other side.
Then he said softly—
"I'm sorry."
Sorry?
That's it?
"You're marrying my sister?" I asked, my voice trembling.
He didn't deny it.
"I had no choice."
I laughed, but it sounded broken.
"No choice? So I was just a game to you?"
"Please understand—"
"Understand what?! That you lied to me? That you used me?"
Tears rolled down my cheeks.
"I trusted you…"
Silence.
Then he said something that shattered me completely—
"If you love me… don't come tomorrow."
The call ended.
I stood there, frozen.
Not come?
To MY sister's wedding?
To HIS wedding?
My nails dug into my palm.
Fine.
I won't just come.
I'll ruin it.
