Chapter 25 -  Understood in One Listening!

Kakashi Hatake patted Orion on the shoulder, then turned and walked toward the lake.

"Do you think I earned my reputation in the ninja world just because of the Sharingan?"

Orion walked up beside him, looking out over the water.

"Besides the Sharingan… you must also have a highly destructive jutsu to support it."

"After all, you're a jōnin. There's no way you wouldn't have a trump card."

Kakashi glanced at Orion and smiled.

"That's right. I developed a technique myself. Without the Sharingan, it was extremely dangerous."

"But with the Sharingan… it became a powerful killing technique."

He sighed slightly.

"When I first created it, without the Sharingan's support, it was actually more dangerous to me than to my enemy."

"One mistake—and I could be killed instead."

Kakashi paused, his expression softening.

"If it weren't for a certain friend who gave me this eye… I wouldn't have reached where I am today."

Although the Sharingan constantly drained his chakra, it also greatly raised his ceiling.

With his combat instincts and careful chakra management, the Sharingan became a massive advantage.

Orion looked at him.

Kakashi misunderstood his gaze and chuckled.

"Curious who gave me this eye?"

Normally, Kakashi wouldn't talk about this so easily.

But Orion was someone he had already decided to personally train.

In a sense, Kakashi valued Orion even more than Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki.

Orion paused for a moment.

He had actually just been distracted.

But since Kakashi misunderstood, he simply nodded.

"A little curious."

Kakashi sat down by the lake and gestured for Orion to sit beside him.

After Orion sat down, Kakashi began:

"After I graduated from the academy, I was too young… and couldn't get along well with my teammates."

"So I had to wait until my classmates graduated before forming a team."

"In a way… I didn't really graduate early at all."

He smiled faintly.

Orion listened quietly.

He had expected Kakashi to jump straight into training—

But instead, Kakashi chose to share his past.

That alone showed how much he trusted him.

"This eye… was given to me by my friend, Obito Uchiha."

"Back then…"

Kakashi told him everything—

About Obito.

About Rin Nohara.

About that mission.

Although Orion already knew the story in general, this was the first time he heard the full details.

"This eye… is Obito's legacy. And it has helped me greatly."

Orion remained expressionless.

But internally, he couldn't help thinking—

If Kakashi knew what Obito is doing now… this speech would feel very awkward.

Kakashi looked at Orion seriously.

"I hope that in the future, you protect the people you cherish."

"Don't end up like me."

"Losing your companions… is extremely painful."

His tone was sincere.

He truly didn't want Orion to suffer the same fate.

Orion said nothing—just nodded.

Kakashi stood up.

"Enough of the depressing stuff."

"Do you know why I chose to teach you Chidori?"

"You don't have the Sharingan. This technique is extremely dangerous."

He looked at Orion, waiting for his answer.

Orion thought for a moment.

"…Because my dynamic vision is strong?"

"Strong enough to rival the Sharingan?"

Kakashi smiled and patted his shoulder.

"Exactly."

"When I tested you last night, I noticed your dynamic vision was incredibly sharp."

"In fact… it may even surpass ordinary Sharingan users."

"Chidori requires high-speed movement and extremely strong visual tracking."

"And you meet both conditions."

Orion nodded.

"But I assume this technique is difficult to learn."

Kakashi replied calmly:

"Very."

"It's an A-rank technique."

"If you lack strong dynamic vision, the difficulty rises to S-rank."

"Before learning it, you normally need to train your movement speed to a very high level."

"And it consumes a large amount of chakra."

He paused, then added:

"…though that's not a problem for you."

"Your chakra reserves are already at jōnin level."

"With your current chakra, you can probably use it around ten times a day."

"I can use it about twenty times."

"Your chakra is already half of mine."

Kakashi still didn't know Orion's chakra had increased again.

And he also knew—

Chidori consumes less chakra than its evolved form, Raikiri.

Chidori → A-rankRaikiri → S-rank

Even Kakashi could only use Raikiri about four times a day.

That alone showed how demanding it was.

Orion listened carefully, not interrupting once.

Kakashi nodded in satisfaction.

Orion's learning attitude impressed him greatly.

"Although Chidori has high requirements…"

"You already meet all of them."

"Vision. Physical ability. Chakra."

"You don't need additional preparation."

"I can teach you directly."

Kakashi looked at him seriously.

"I'll now explain the principles of Chidori."

"Once you master it… I'll teach you its advanced form—Raikiri."

His expectations for Orion were extremely high.

He didn't believe Orion would take long to learn it.

Then—

Kakashi began explaining.

Compared to ordinary techniques, Chidori was extremely complex.

Truly worthy of being a jutsu developed by Kakashi himself.

For most people—

Understanding it would already be difficult.

Let alone mastering it.

After about ten minutes—

Kakashi stopped and looked at Orion.

"I can explain it again if you didn't understand."

"This technique is complicated. It's normal not to grasp it on the first try."

Orion nodded.

"I understand."

To prove it—

He broke down the entire structure of Chidori in detail.

Every principle.

Every step.

Every requirement.

Perfectly explained.

It sounded as if—

He had already mastered the technique for years.

Kakashi was stunned.

"…If I hadn't personally taught you just now…"

"I would've thought you had been using this technique for decades."
