Chapter 6 - The Birth of the Stellaron's vessel

Silver Wolf quickly turned, focusing again on the terminal device, her fingers dancing rapidly across the control panel.

A series of complex data flickered across the screen.

Kafka gripped her weapon tightly, vigilantly surveying her surroundings while keeping an eye on Dante's every move.

Dante, with a slight smile, watched the two with great interest, as if enjoying a splendid performance.

As Silver Wolf operated, the terminal device emitted a faint hum, and a hidden door slowly appeared on the wall.

Behind the door, the glowing Stellaron floated within a transparent energy shield.

Strange runes encircled it, as if narrating the mysteries of the universe.

"Found it!" A hint of surprise flashed in Silver Wolf's eyes.

However, just as Kafka was about to step forward to retrieve the Stellaron, the Space Station's tremors suddenly intensified.

Inside the entire Security Cabin, the lights began to flicker wildly, and various instruments emitted piercing alarm sounds.

The Void Ranger Marauders, enhanced by Aha and further influenced, became even more frenzied.

They were no longer content with dancing in place; they began to charge recklessly, sparks flying wherever they went.

Meanwhile, outside the Space Station.

Welt was struggling to break through the reinforced Anti-Matter Legion.

Imaginary energy raged around him, each attack taking out a large number of Void Rangers.

Himeko provided full support from the Astral Express, beams of energy shooting from the train, precisely striking the surrounding enemies.

But the Anti-Matter Legion was vast in number and greatly strengthened, like an endless black ocean, and the situation remained extremely unfavorable for them.

"Welt, how are things on your end?" Himeko asked anxiously through the communication device.

"It's a bit tricky, but I can handle it. I'm already approaching Dan Heng and March 7th."

Welt replied calmly while dodging attacks; despite being in danger, his voice remained very firm.

And in the Security Cabin inside the Space Station, Kafka and Silver Wolf also faced a new crisis.

The frenzied Void Rangers charged towards them, but Dante showed no intention of helping, merely standing by and watching the show.

The mask at his waist emitted strange bursts of laughter.

The joyful sound echoed in the cabin, but to Kafka and Silver Wolf, it was like a devil's whisper, chilling to the bone.

"Look at these interesting reactions, so much fun!"

Kafka's eyes were firm; she shouted to Silver Wolf, "First, deal with these troubles! The Stellaron cannot fall into anyone else's hands!"

With that, she raised her weapon and fired fiercely at the Void Rangers.

Silver Wolf quickly assisted from the side, disrupting the Void Rangers' movements.

Her hands moved rapidly in the air, manipulating a virtual interface.

The Void Rangers seemed to suddenly lose their way; their originally fierce charge became chaotic.

Just as both sides were embroiled in a chaotic battle, Dan Heng and March 7th also noticed the anomaly inside the Space Station.

"What exactly is going on? It feels like the situation in the Space Station is getting worse and worse," March 7th complained while running.

"I don't know."

Dan Heng's expression was solemn, his long spear gripped tightly. "These Void Rangers' combat power has suddenly become somewhat abnormal.

Be careful, March. Welt is already on his way to meet us."

"Dan Heng, look."

Suddenly, March 7th exclaimed, pointing in one direction, "I think I've discovered something incredible.

What's in that room? Why are all those Void Rangers lining up to get in there?"

The place she pointed to was the Security Cabin where Dante, Kafka, and the other two were located.

"I don't know, but we should go and see. Maybe we can find the answer."

Dan Heng's long spear was sharp, piercing through the bodies of Void Rangers one by one.

"Okay!"

March 7th agreed, and after they dealt with the Void Rangers around them, they quickly rushed towards the target room.

...

"Silver Wolf, I'll hold them off. Quickly prepare the vessel."

Kafka's dual guns fired continuously; amidst the flashing gunfire, Void Rangers were blasted into dust, scattering into the air.

"Understood!"

Silver Wolf waved her left hand, and a control interface instantly floated before her.

Her hands tapped incessantly, her fingers moving so fast they left afterimages.

However, as expected of a genius hacker, she had prepared the vessel in less than two minutes.

"Preparation complete. I'll intercept; you quickly choose a vessel to load the Stellaron."

Silver Wolf tapped the control keyboard, and a transparent barrier, like a game screen, completely sealed the room's entrance.

All Void Rangers attempting to rush in vanished instantly upon contact with the barrier.

"Good!"

Time was urgent, so Kafka didn't have time to choose carefully and hastily picked one at random.

"This will do! I just wonder how much they'll remember?"

"At least they'll remember you."

Silver Wolf, fully maintaining the barrier, turned to urge, a hint of anxiety flashing in her eyes, "Can you hurry?"

"Understood."

Kafka placed the Stellaron into Stelle's chest and whispered in her ear, "It's time to wake up."

"The birth of the Stellaron Vessel."

Dante clapped his hands from the side, exclaiming, "A moment to witness history; it wasn't a wasted trip."

"Ahahahahaha, interesting, Stellaron Vessel, Stellaron Vessel..."

The Mask of Aha was very satisfied with this opening ceremony.

As the Stellaron merged, Stelle's chest began to rise and fall slightly, and she slowly opened her eyes.

...

"This... where... is this?"

Kafka breathed a slight sigh of relief; at least the mission was accomplished, however winding the process.

"Time is short now, listen to me. Although your mind is a blur, you don't know who you are, why you're here, what you're supposed to do next..."

"I think we can skip these useless words."

Silver Wolf's dissatisfied voice came. "Maintaining this teleportation barrier is very strenuous, and do you want to look outside?"

Kafka looked towards the door, a hint of solemnity flashing across her delicate face.

But then Silver Wolf's next words made her heart sink even further.

"I'm sorry, due to a certain existence, our space jump has been blocked, so now... we can't leave.

I'm afraid we won't be able to avoid meeting the people from the Astral Express, as the script dictated."

...

Silence.

Kafka remained silent; the script was completely disrupted. The only good news was Stelle's successful birth.

Looking back again, Dante's figure had disappeared at some unknown point.

"That one left; is that good news?" Kafka comforted herself.

Silver Wolf rolled her eyes at her. "It makes no difference whether they leave or not.

Even in places we can't see, they will still amuse themselves with us."

"No choice."

Kafka pulled out her dual guns. "Who made us so unlucky? To encounter an unpredictable existence in the universe.

Do your best to make them happy; at least we should be safe."

"Understood!"

Silver Wolf released the barrier, and Kafka immediately took over, with brilliant fireworks erupting once more.
