Jude stood motionless beside the waterfall with the phone in his hand
His grip still tightened around his phone because it didn't make sense
Betty had built a reputation as one of the most dependable people in the company. She had earned his trust as his personal assistant and that's why he trusted her in his home as well. Meanwhile, she was too young to have played any role in the James Brooks scandal itself
"But why was her authorization code appearing in confidential files connected to the case?", He asked himself quietly
He thought that someone was lying or someone had been using Betty all along
"Mr Maguire, are you still there?", the head of the forensic department said
Jude inhaled deeply as he snapped out of his thoughts
"Don't tell anyone what you've found", Jude said quietly
"Okay", the head of the forensic department replied quickly
"Did I make myself clear?", he said sharply
