Jude stood outside Violet's office and for the first time all day, he held back before he knocked
"Come in"
Immediately he entered, Violet looked up and the moment she saw him, her expression changed
"What is it now?", she asked
Jude closed the door slowly and neither of them spoke for several seconds
"I'm sorry", he finally said with a heavy sigh
Violet blinked twice
"What?"
"I said I'm sorry", he repeated
The anger on her face disappeared as she looked confused
"I shouldn't have accused you", he added softly
She looked at him carefully
"Jude...."
"No, allow me to express my feelings", he continued as he shook his head
Then took a brief pause
"I was angry and betrayed that you were hiding something from your own brother. Things weren't making sense and I took it on you"
Violet's eyes softened instantly and she let out a quiet laugh
"Big brother, you know that you have always been terrible at apologizing, right?", she said quietly
