The silence inside the conference room could engulf a whole country
Violet looked at Scarlett like she had gone insane
"You mean me? Violet Maguire? You are seriously accusing me right now?", Violet said slowly
Scarlett didn't blink, neither did she move
"You entered my room that afternoon after I came back from the event. And you were admiring one of my handbags", she said slowly
Violet laughed in disbelief
"Are you even hearing yourself, Scarlett?"
"Hmmmn…. I think she is right. I can remember that I saw you going upstairs that afternoon", Betty suddenly said quietly
Violet turned toward her instantly
"Will you shut up! So, because I went upstairs, does that mean I went to her room? Is my room not upstairs as well?", she shouted
Jude's eyes shifted sharply to Violet
"Don't raise your voice"
Violet is still looking at Betty angrily
"Oh! So, you and everyone else suddenly remembered what happened that day?", she continued
