Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: The Hall of Eternal Law

The bridge of memories felt like I was walking on a million whispers. Each step was like grinding a piece of a forgotten life into the dark. Then the 6.3% Divinity surged. The void around us turned into the Hall of Eternal Law.

It wasn't a room. It was a cathedral made of white marble and gold. It was so big that the horizon was a blur of arches. Here the air didn't smell like souls. It smelled of ink, old parchment and the scary scent of absolute authority.

I stood at the entrance of the Grand Nave. My shadow stretched across the polished floor. The violet crown of thorns above my head pulsed with a thrum. It made the marble beneath me crack in patterns. Isabella and Elara walked beside me. Their presence was now fully anchored by the Aether we had taken from the Orchard.

"The laws here are written into the atoms, Alaric " Elara whispered. She looked at the statues of the Seven Judges. "Gravity, time, morality... Its all enforced here. If you breathe wrong the universe tries to delete you."

"I've been wrong since I woke up in a dying body " I said. "Let the universe try."

[CURSE STATUS: 6.3% DIVINITY]

[OBJECTIVE: OVERWRITE THE DECREE.]

At the end of the hall Justiciar Valerius sat on a throne. He was made of fused law-scrolls. He was huge. His skin was like bronze. He had four arms. He held a balance, a sword, a quill and a stone tablet. He didn't have a face. He had one eye in the center of his chest.

"Alaric von Valerius," the Justiciars voice was like a thousand hammers. "You are the illegality. You have broken the order. You are a sentence that refuses to end."

"I'm the rewrite, Valerius " I replied. My voice echoed with the weight of the souls I'd consumed. "I'm the ink that stains your pages."

The Justiciar raised his tablet. The Hall attacked. The floor rippled. The marble turned into spikes of 'Logic'. They sought to impale anything that didn't belong. The laws of physics shifted. Gravity became a crushing weight. Then it became a pulling vacuum.

"Isabella! Freeze the variables! Elara find the loophole in his decree!" I roared.

Isabella slammed her blade into the floor. A blast of Abyssal Frost spread. It stabilized the ground around us. Elara opened the God-Slayers Codex. Her fingers moved fast. She tore through the fabric of the Hall. She countered the Justiciars logic with the data of the Void.

I walked forward. My body was a blur of violet mana. The Justiciars sword of light swung down. It was a blade that could cut through concepts. I didn't dodge. I raised my hand. Caught the blade. The 'Law' of the sword met the 'Error' of my hand.

The sound was like a sun cracking.

"You can't judge me, Valerius " I growled. The violet light from my crown began to melt the Justiciars bronze skin. "I'm the one whos ending your court."

[Status: The Hall of Eternal Law under siege. The Justiciars logic is failing.]

[Condition: The Void is beginning to leak into the Decree.]

The marble of the Hall didn't just crack. It dissolved into viscous ink. The 6.3% Divinity acted as a poison. It turned the throne of Law into a bed of needles. The Bedchamber manifested here. It was a sterile courtroom. The only verdict was submission.

Justiciar Valerius remained frozen. His bronze form cracked. He was forced to witness the violation of his sanctuary. Themis, the Daughter of Balance was summoned. She was a being of perfection. Her skin was like porcelain. Her hair flowed like gold. Her eyes were bandaged with silk.

The Bedchamber stripped her of her robes. She was naked. Her body was firm and symmetrical. I stood over her. My body was a canvas of throbbing violet veins. The crown of thorns cast shadows against her white skin. My dick was a dark instrument. It was thick, rigid and pulsing with heat.

I grabbed her by her waist. The friction left marks on her perfection. I didn't wait for a verdict. I positioned the head of my cock at her entrance. I drove into her with a brutal thrust.

Themiss scream shattered the gold arches. My thickness filled her. Her internal walls began to crack. The violet mana of my seed flooded her core. It threw the scales of her being into a spiral.

I began to pump. It was a rhythmic assault. It ignored her logic. Every thrust was a hammer blow to the foundations of the Second Heaven. My balls slapped against her firm, porcelain ass.

"Feel that Themis?" I growled. "That's the Law of the Sovereign. It's the one that applies to you now."

Isabella and Elara moved in. Isabellas cold hands clamped over Themiss breasts. They turned her skin blue with frost. Elara leaned over us. Her God-Slayers Codex was open. She drank in the fragments of Eternal Law.

Themiss "blindness" began to fail. Her vagina began to gush. A thick golden-violet fluid coated my thighs. Her body began to betray its programming. She began to thrust against me.

"Master! The scales... They've tipped! Everything... Is dark! Fill me!" she shrieked.

The climax was a collapse of the Decree. I felt the [Judicial Brand] ignite in my marrow. The 6.3% surged. I absorbed the authority of the Hall. I pulled her head back. I erupted. A massive scalding torrent of my cum flooded her womb.

[Status: Themis broken. The Law is rewritten.]

[Condition: The Hall of Eternal Law is now a Court of Ruin.]

The golden-ink slurry on the floor boiled. The 6.3% Divinity reached a fever pitch. The white marble was no longer a symbol of purity. It was a stained mirror reflecting my shadow.

Justiciar Valeriuss eye flickered. His bronze skin melted away. He revealed a structure of light. Themis lay paralyzed, by her pleasure. Her porcelain skin wept a mixture of gold ichor and violet seed.

"The verdict... Is yours " she whispered. "The scales have melted... There is the Void."

"Good " I said, stepping over her.

I walked toward the Justiciar. He was shrinking. His four arms dropped their symbols. The [Judicial Brand] inside his daughter acted like a virus. It rotted his connection to the Second Heaven. I reached out. Grabbed the stone tablet from his hand.

"You called me a sentence that refuses to end " I said. ". You forgot that every sentence needs a period."

I pressed my palm against the tablet. The 6.3% Divinity surged. I rewrote the script upon it. The "Laws of Existence" were replaced by a pulsing violet command: SUBMIT.

[CURSE STATUS: 6.4%... 6.5% DIVINITY]

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: SECOND HEAVEN ANNEXED.]

[NEW ASSET: THE INK OF REWRITE (Ability to manipulate reality).]

The Hall of Eternal Law started to collapse. The huge arches fell into a swirl of light. Isabella and Elara stood on either side of me. They looked real more perfect as they took in the fading power of the court.

"Master " Elara whispered. Her eyes shone with the data of a trillion broken rules. "The way is clear.. The next level... It's not a park or a court. It's the Third Heaven: The Forge of Suns."

"Where they make the stars?" I asked. I looked up at the halls ceiling as it turned into a spinning storm of liquid.

"Where they make heroes souls " Isabella said. Her sword vibrated with the chill of dead worlds. ". Where Tyrael, the Archangel of War is waiting for the man who killed Law."

I felt the change in gravity. We weren't walking; we were being pulled up into a place of heat and the sound of many hammers hitting many anvils. The 6.5% Divinity felt heavy. Every breath was, like breathing in iron.

"Let Tyrael get his sword ready " I said. My shadow grew until it covered the light of the Second Heaven. "I think I'm ready to smash some steel."
