Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: The Silent Orchard

The white empty space didn't stay empty for long. As my power 6.0% Divinity, became steady the reality of the First Heaven started to appear. It wasn't a city made of gold or a palace of light; it was the Silent Orchard. This place was like a garden with trees that had silver bark and leaves that looked like flickering memories. This was where souls were made, where the "Gods" got the experiences of humans to make themselves live forever.

The air here didn't taste like the air we breathe; it tasted like memories of the past.

I stood in a clearing wearing a crown of thorns on my head that glowed violet. My body had changed; I now wore a cloak made of shadows and my skin had veins that looked like liquid lightning. Isabella and Elara were with me pulled here by my soul. They looked like they were made of a misty material their bodies shimmering because the strong Aether here was trying to get rid of their bodies.

"It's... Too quiet " Isabella whispered, holding her sword. "I can hear the trees breathing."

"Those aren't breaths Isabella " Elara said, her eyes wide as she looked at the silver leaves. "Those are screams. Every leaf is a life they've finished using."

*OBJECTIVE: BURN THE HARVEST.*

Lazarus, the Gardener came out from behind a blue willow tree. He looked like a man made of soft golden smoke carrying a hook made of one diamond.

"You've come a way to die in a garden Prince " Lazarus said. His voice was like paper rustling. "You've reached 6.0%. You're no longer a parasite; you're a danger.. A gardeners job is to cut out the rot."

"This garden is built on the bodies of my people " I said. I raised my hand and the ground beneath Lazarus cracked. The violet energy of the 6.0% turned the grass into black ash. "I'm not here to be pruned. I'm here to uproot the damn forest."

Lazarus raised his diamond hook and the trees around us came alive. The silver branches lashed out like whips each one carrying the weight of a thousand forgotten lives.

"Isabella! Freeze the roots! Elara, feed the Codex with their 'harvest'!" I commanded.

Isabella slammed her fist into the ground. A frost so strong it turned the Aether into solid glass rushed toward the trees. Elara opened her book. The silver leaves began to fly toward her their memories being sucked into the Void as she chanted the verses of the God-Slayer.

I didn't use a weapon. I walked toward Lazarus through the whirlwind of memory and ice. He swung his hook a blade designed to sever a soul from its body. I caught the diamond edge with my palm.

"You're used to dealing with spirits who have already given up " I growled, the violet light from my crown blinding the deity. "I'm the one who refused to leave."

I twisted the hook shattering the diamond into dust. I grabbed the Gardener by his smoke- throat the violet veins of my hands burning into his golden essence.

"Tell me Lazarus " I whispered. "Does a God feel a chill when his sun goes out?"

*Status: The Silent Orchard in flames. Lazarus captured.*

*Condition: The 'Harvest' is being diverted to the Sovereign.*

The silver leaves of the Orchard didn't just fall; they dissolved into a fine sparkling mist that smelled of ozone and ancient grief. The Bedchamber didn't manifest here—it conquered the space overwriting the "geometry of the nursery with the raw pulsating architecture of the Void. The trees twisted into obsidian pillars and the air grew heavy with the scent of lilies and musk.

Lazarus, the Gardener of Souls was no longer a being of smoke and golden light. The 6.0% Divinity had acted as a cage compressing his essence into a physical vessel—a man of fragile translucent skin and eyes that burned with the dying embers of a star.. The Bedchamber had a different plan for the harvest.

The Gardeners Daughter, Elara-May was pulled into the fray. She was the Orchard's prize—a being of unblemished Aether. She was naked her skin like silk.

"You... You are treading on the dreams of the universe " Lazarus gasped, pinned to the rotting roots of his throne.

"I'm waking them up " I said.

I stood over Elara-May, my body a map of lightning the crown of thorns above my head casting long jagged shadows across the silver grass. I grabbed her by her hair forcing her onto her hands and knees before her "father." I positioned myself at her entrance.

I drove into her. One brutal world-shattering thrust that buried me to the core.

Elara-May's scream wasn't a sound; it was a melody of agony and ecstasy that echoed through the entire Orchard. My thickness filled her until she felt like she was being rewritten from the inside out.

I began to pump—a relentless rhythm that turned the nursery into a tomb. Every thrust sent a shockwave of violet mana through her system leaking out and poisoning the roots of the silver trees.

"Watch, Lazarus " I growled, my teeth sinking into Elara-May's shoulder drawing ichor. "Watch your 'perfect soul' become a vessel for the rot."

Isabella and Elara moved in. Isabella's cold fingers worked Elara-May's breasts turning the skin blue with frost while Elara leaned over us her book open, absorbing the raw Aether.

The girls resistance didn't just break; it inverted. Her vagina began to gush—a scalding golden-violet fluid that coated my thighs and turned the grass beneath us black.

"Master! The... The Orchard is burning! I can feel... The Void! Fill me!" she shrieked.

The climax hit like a collapse. I felt the Orchard's Brand ignite in my marrow the lock of the First Heaven shattering. I pulled her head back exposing her glowing throat and erupted.

*Status: Elara-May broken. Lazarus's legacy is defiled.*

*Condition: The Silent Orchard is now the Sovereign's Grave.*

The golden nectar of the Orchard didn't just drip; it began to flow defying the laws of the heavens.

Lazarus watched from the roots of his dying throne his smoke-like eyes widening as he saw his "perfect" daughter, Elara-May slumped against my legs.

"What... What have you done?" Lazarus croaked. "You've turned the well of souls into a cesspool."

"I've turned it into a battery " I said.

I didn't let Elara-May fall. I gripped her by the throat lifting her slightly as the Orchard's Brand pulsed inside her. Every silver-barked tree, in the expanse began to shrivel.

Isabella stepped into the storm her ice- eyes glowing with a reflected violet fire. Elara stood on my side her God-Slayer's Codex vibrating so violently the pages were tearing themselves out to join the vortex.

"Master this energy is too much!" Elara shouted over the soul-wind.

" thing I'm not human anymore " I said.

I closed my eyes. Pulled. The energy of souls hit me hard through the girl. It was a shock. I saw things. Empires rise and fall people fall in love and people die. It all came at me at once a rush of power.

The Silent Orchard didn't just die; it disappeared. The silver trees turned to dust. The blue sky cracked. We weren't standing on grass anymore. We were standing on a bridge made of memories. It stretched across a space to a city that glowed like a thousand suns.

The Second Heaven: The Hall of Eternal Law.

I let Elara-May fall into the darkness. She was empty now a shell. I looked at my hands; they weren't made of flesh anymore. They were dark. Glowed with an otherworldly energy.

"One layer down " I said, my voice echoing. "How many 'Gods do we need to feed Isabella? How many pages are left in your book, Elara?"

Isabella wiped liquid from her cheek and smiled. A cold smile. " Many as it takes to see you on that throne, Alaric."

"Then lets keep moving " I said, stepping onto the bridge. "The 'Judges are waiting for us in the Second Heaven.. I plan to break some laws."
