The red stained Anning's pale palm almost immediately, she tilted her head to the side like she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Blood.
I wasn't seeing things right?
For a brief moment, I couldn't hear anything except a dull ringing in my ear.
I could see the person who sold the skewers walking towards us, but I couldn't hear anything. Even the musicians that played somewhere down the street... all of it completely disappeared.
I could only see the blood.
I couldn't even bring myself to take a single step forward. My gaze moved from her trembling hand to her face.
She didn't look surprised by what she was seeing, she just looked confused and slightly amused?
How the fuck was this situation amusing?
"Tiger..." I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
She slowly lifted her head to look, her green eyes were slightly glazed over but I knew she could see me.
