Chapter 2 - A Guild Beyond Worlds… Or Just a Joke?

[Congratulations. You have accepted the invitation and joined the Multiverse Communication Guild.]

The moment the notification appeared, Uchiha Ryujin felt a subtle shift within his mind. Something new had taken root—an unfamiliar presence that now existed alongside his thoughts.

The so-called Multiverse Communication Guild wasn't an external object at all. It resided directly within his consciousness.

That realization immediately put him at ease.

A system embedded in the mind couldn't be easily detected, let alone tampered with. Even the most skilled sensory-type ninja would struggle to notice its existence. And in this world, secrecy meant survival.

Although Ryujin already possessed the strength to stand against Kage-level opponents, he understood something most people didn't—

Kage-level… was not the peak.

Above it lay a far more terrifying realm.

The Six Paths level.

That was the true summit of power.

And the very reason he hadn't launched his rebellion yet… was because of that.

He wasn't weak.

But he wasn't invincible either.

And that difference… mattered.

Even if Konoha's strongest forces joined hands, he was confident he could crush them all. But confidence alone wasn't enough—not when unknown variables still existed.

That lingering uncertainty was what held him back.

For a long time, Ryujin had been searching for a way to break through, to surpass his current limits. Yet no matter how hard he trained, his strength refused to advance further.

It was as if he had reached an invisible ceiling.

A bottleneck.

And now…

This Multiverse Communication Guild might be the opportunity he had been waiting for.

If there were beings stronger than him within this guild—if he could exchange knowledge with them, gain even the slightest insight—

Then breaking through to the Six Paths level would no longer be a distant dream.

At that point…

Let alone Konoha—

Even if he stood alone against the entire ninja world, what would he have to fear?

Of course, Ryujin had no intention of conquering the world.

All he wanted… was absolute freedom.

Power so overwhelming that no one could threaten him—so he would never again be placed in a position where others could control his fate.

A faint, self-mocking smile crossed his lips.

All this effort… just to avoid being controlled by others.

How ironic.

Shaking his head lightly, Ryujin shifted his focus back to the guild.

The moment he entered, a clear interface appeared in his mind—and almost instantly, messages began flooding in.

LinglongIsCute: "Eh? A new member just joined? Welcome, welcome! Hurry and introduce yourself!"

Asuna: "Welcome! This guild is so amazing… it can even invite new members?"

Utaha Kasumigaoka: "Ara, a newcomer? Don't tell me they're another naïve little airhead like the one above?"

LinglongIsCute: "? Who are you calling an airhead?"

Utaha Kasumigaoka: "You, obviously. Trying to trick me? You're still too inexperienced."

LinglongIsCute: "…You…"

Eriri: "Calling yourself 'senior' again? You really love putting yourself above others."

Utaha Kasumigaoka: "Heh. If I'm dealing with a blonde tsundere, I don't even bother claiming seniority."

Eriri: "You—!"

Ryujin could practically see the argument escalating—the blonde girl's twin tails bristling in anger, only to be effortlessly crushed by Utaha's sharp tongue.

Some things, it seemed, transcended worlds.

Like losing a verbal battle.

Asuna: "Alright, alright. Let's not argue. Since we're all guild members, we should help each other."

LinglongIsCute: "Asuna-onee-san is as gentle as always!"

"…."

Ryujin stared at the conversation in silence.

This… was the Multiverse Communication Guild?

The so-called organization that connected countless worlds?

This was it?

Frowning slightly, he checked the member list.

There were only five names.

[Asuna]

[LinglongIsCute]

[Utaha Kasumigaoka]

[Eriri]

[Ryujin]

Five people.

That was all.

What happened to the legendary beings across the multiverse?

Where were the experts who could shatter worlds?

The gods? The destroyers? The cosmic entities?

Ryujin's expression gradually turned strange.

Because he recognized all of them.

Asuna needed no introduction. Even in his previous life, she had been a household name among anime fans—the heroine of Sword Art Online. But that world… was nothing more than a game setting. There was no true supernatural power.

LinglongIsCute had to be Lu Linglong from The Outcast. Cute personality, decent background—but in terms of combat strength?

Negligible.

As for the remaining two—

Utaha Kasumigaoka and Eriri.

Both came from a slice-of-life world.

A completely normal world.

No power system.

No supernatural abilities.

Ryujin slowly leaned back in his chair, silence filling his thoughts.

Then—

Realization struck him like a blunt hammer.

Out of everyone in this so-called Multiverse Guild…

He was the strongest.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

His emotions shifted in an instant—from excitement, to expectation, to complete disappointment.

He had imagined a gathering of supreme beings—a place where knowledge from countless worlds would collide. A place where he could learn, evolve, and break through the Six Paths level.

Instead…

He had joined—

A casual chat group.

No gods.

No conquerors.

No world-ending monsters.

No legendary figures.

Just…

A few girls from relatively ordinary worlds.

Ryujin exhaled slowly, the interest he had felt moments ago fading almost instantly.

What a joke.

For a brief moment, he had even imagined ridiculous possibilities—beings who created worlds, cosmic tyrants, unstoppable monsters. Entities capable of destroying planets with a single thought. True apex existences gathered across dimensions.

But reality…

Was far more underwhelming.

"…Forget it."

At least he hadn't placed too much hope on it to begin with. Otherwise, this would have been truly disappointing.

Letting out a quiet sigh, Ryujin leaned back lazily against his chair. Then, with a calm, almost indifferent expression, he typed his first message into the guild.

Ryujin: "Thanks for the invite. Uchiha here. Currently preparing a rebellion. Don't reply."

And just like that—

A storm quietly began to form.
