Among them were beings such as the Azure Dragon, the Qilin, and the Phoenix—entities that lived in seclusion, refrained from interfering in human nations, and merely offered their protection.
Naturally, there were also "gods" that truly regarded themselves as divine beings and interfered directly in human affairs.
The most famous example was the Light Divine Beast, Apollos.
After descending upon Earth, it proclaimed itself the God of Light and established the Church of Light, centered around its worship.
Historically, it had even led Beast Tamers of the Church of Light in wars against other nations and regions, attempting to bring the entire world under its rule and establish a Divine Kingdom of Light.
The event became known as the Light Crusade.
Then, the moment it stepped out the door, it got jumped by a group of Mythical Pet Beasts, beaten black and blue, and forced to announce the end of the crusade before retreating back to the Promised Land.
The event became known as the Day of Darkness.
As absurd as the story sounded, the fact that Apollos had dared to attempt such a thing was proof enough of its strength.
Even today, the Nation of Light still exists in central Europe, filled with its followers who sing praises to its greatness every day.
Compared to Mythical Pet Beasts like that, orderly and benevolent divine beasts such as the Azure Dragon were obviously far more beloved by humanity.
In fact, if not for their existence, the rulers of nations and regions around the world would not be human Beast Tamers at all. The world would have long since been divided up among the divine beasts.
Because of that, they enjoyed even greater admiration and respect from the public.
Between a storyline where Fairy power gradually revived, the God of Light lucked into obtaining it, and then beat up the Azure Dragon...
Jiang Xing would much rather see a divine beast like the Azure Dragon share in that authority.

Unless, someday in the future, it happened to encounter the God of Time and was sent back to this era to awaken once more...
But to this day, the Twin Gods of Time and Space had yet to descend upon the Beast Taming world. Such a scenario could only remain a fantasy.
Thus, what delighted the Azure Dragon was not merely that Jiang Xing had proposed this idea, but that he had proposed it at precisely this point in time.
At that moment, the more the Azure Dragon looked at this young human, the more pleasing he became.

When it mentioned the physique of a True Dragon, the Azure Dragon paused briefly.
Humans of Earth were somewhat unusual.
Compared to their powerful spiritual strength, their physical bodies were far more fragile.
